Cost of vacation in Miami Beach. October 2016.

Initially, the tour was designed only for Miami, specifically Miami Beach, and for the whole week. But my husband and I have long dreamed of getting to the USA and NY in particular, that’s why we adjusted the route in favor of the Big Apple, and devoted two days to it, and Miami the remaining 5. In total, for two people, such a tour cost us $3,500, including visas and all fees, flights, and accommodation in 3-star hotels. The rest is at your own expense)

Excursions to Miami Beach on open double-decker buses cost from $45, which include two days in a hop on hop off format - i.e. I came in and out when and where I wanted. All buses run every 15-30 minutes. The tour includes 3 lines that cover all of Miami and Miami Beach. The guide talks a lot useful information in English, but there are broadcasts in 10 languages. Our excursions also included two free meals and entry to the history museum.

Food and products

The price in Miami is affordable: from $1 for a hot dog, $6 for a pizza, and a large set of richa and chicken and salad (weighing half a kilo) for $8.

In the restaurants we were only interested in local seafood, i.e. ocean life. So we ordered lobster rolls - essentially a hot dog with large chunks of lobster meat and a decent portion of fries and ketchup for only $25.
