The hotel complex consists of a 4-story hotel building Naxos Beach 4*, located near the beach and two-story Naxos Beach Villette 4* villas, located in the garden 100–300 m from the sea.

The staff - the reception staff were unhelpful with check in being so rushed we were left clueless as to what is included. The only one which was helpful was Davide, he didn't seem frustrated with our questions and was the only one who informed us that we could eat in the pizza restaurant as part of all inclusive (we had checked this twice with the front desk and told it wasn't included). we tried to avoid asking the staff questions as it was always unpleasant and I’ve never experienced customer service like it. The staff at the beach bar were awful and incredibly rude so after our second day decided not to go back there so stayed by the pool instead. Lunch at the beach bar was misleading. There are posters which state you get a starter, main and dessert (including hamburgers,hot dogs, pizza) Absolutely not the case, there was no starters and the only choice of main was a ham and cheese panini which was heated for approx 30 seconds. The housekeeping staff are a real asset, the place was spotless and they politely greeted you everytime we walked past. The food - the food in the main restaurant was awful. Poor quality, cold, and not replenished when it ran out. There were very few choices. Mainly pasta in a tomato sauce, some meats and cold courgette, peppers and bread. We also found that lunch tended to be leftovers from dinner and what was left over from lunch was served with dinner. We were all inclusive but gave up on the dinner after the fourth day and chose to eat out instead. Trying to find somewhere to sit in the main restaurant was another stress, the tables weren't cleared and relayed so we often found ourselves wandering around the restaurant to find a table, rather than staff offering to clear somewhere for us or at least point us in the direction of a free table. Water - at an all inclusive hotel, you would never consider that water was the hardest thing to come by. Staff were always annoyed when you asked for it and bottles weren’t included (instead they open a bottle and pour it into two small plastic beakers). It was so painful getting water and after feeling unwell from dehydration we decided to walk to the shop nearby and stock up. This should not have happened! The other issue we had was we booked the pizza restaurant for the Wednesday evening via reception, only to arrive and it be very much shut (there was also another couple there who had had the same thing happen), when we went to reception to query they advised us that it wasn't open on Wednesdays.. .if it wasn't open on Wednesdays, why would you book us a table there on a Wednesday?! On a positive, the rooms were a good size and the air conditioning worked a treat. The decor is dated but in no way shabby. The lady who worked in the travel office at the hotel was really lovely and helpful. I would recommend staying at this hotel on a bed and breakfast basis only and we would not return.…

Once upon a time May holidays we went to Sunny Sicily. One of the tour operators offered a very profitable tour on half board to the Atahotel Naxos Beach 4 * (formerly NAXOS BEACH RESORT 4 *) in the town of Giardini Naxos. Since this town is conveniently located near Catania airport, close to Syracuse and Mount Etna, we decided that this location would allow us to see as many attractions as possible on the east coast of Sicily.
So, on the day of our arrival, we loaded onto a tourist bus and an hour later we were approaching our hotel. Atahotel Naxos Beach 4* (formerly NAXOS BEACH RESORT 4*), unlike other European hotels, has a huge territory and is more like Turkish hotels. It is located in the small village of Giardini Naxos, where there is everything you need for a comfortable stay: many hotels, shops, restaurants and cafes. Very close, up the hill is the amazing Taormina - a real pearl of Sicily.
The hotel is located on the first line of the sea, the beach is sandy. There are sun loungers and umbrellas, but at an additional cost.
The residential premises of NAXOS BEACH RESORT 4* are divided into those located in the main building (I was not there) and rooms in small two-story houses. We lived in a room on the second floor of the villa. The room is standard, with a balcony, has everything you need: wardrobe, TV, minibar and air conditioning. The furniture is not new, but everything is in decent condition. In the bathroom, you need to remember to close the blinds on the window, otherwise the neighbors will be able to see you taking a shower. The rooms on the ground floor of the villas have their own area with two sun loungers and a table.
The hotel area is a special delight. On 14 hectares, in addition to the buildings, there are two swimming pools, including one Olympic with long paths. Cafes, children's playgrounds and a huge park with fruit trees. In the evening, walking along the well-groomed alleys of the hotel, you can enjoy the singing of birds, watch rabbits frolic on the lawns, and inhale the wonderful aromas of flowering trees.
The beautiful park of this hotel is sometimes used as a place for weddings; once we found such a Sicilian holiday near the main building, but it did not last long and the guests, after a buffet reception and a photo shoot, left to celebrate the wedding further.
At the same time, you can enjoy silence in this hotel, since the large area allows vacationers to not often encounter each other. The hotel also has its own tennis court, beauty salon, several restaurants and a children's club. By the way, NAXOS BEACH RESORT 4* has animators to entertain children.
Our package included breakfast and dinner. Dinner included a free bottle of wine and a bottle of water. Usually in Italy drinks are not included in the price of dinner. We really liked the food at Atahotel Naxos Beach 4* (formerly NAXOS BEACH RESORT 4*). Breakfast is standard. For dinner they offer several salads, side dishes, and meat. Everything is very tasty. You can have lunch in the village - there are many restaurants with quite affordable prices. In some, however, a mandatory tip is added to the bill. Since we constantly traveled to different cities, we most often had lunch wherever we had to.
We were at the hotel in early May, and the main contingent of vacationers were pensioners; the same situation, I think, will be in September. Since it is during these periods that Atahotel Naxos Beach 4 * (formerly NAXOS BEACH RESORT 4 *) makes special prices for older people. This hotel is also very suitable for families with children, as it is far from parties and discos. In the evening there are performances on site and live music in the bars. But everything stops after 11 pm, so no noise disturbs tourists at night.
The hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming. Suitcases are delivered to your rooms in special electric vehicles. And when our flight was delayed for several hours due to the activity of Etna, the hotel owner allocated several rooms for families with small children so that they could relax in normal conditions, and not wait for the bus in the hotel lobby. In general, the owner of Atahotel Naxos Beach 4* (NAXOS BEACH RESORT 4*) is a very nice man who often went into the hotel lobby and talked with vacationers, asking how the vacation was going and whether they liked everything.
The sea in Sicily is quite cool, but you can swim in summer. The beach is wide and long, with dark volcanic sand. The constantly yelling merchants are a bit annoying. On the beach they offer boat trips on boats.
You can also travel from the hotel to Taormina, Catania, Palermo, Syracuse, Messina and Mount Etna.
Some travel agencies even offer trips to Malta. But it is quite lengthy and expensive. Having traveled almost the entire eastern coast of Sicily, by the end of the holiday we realized that the most a nice place- this is Taormina and our village of Giardini Naxos with the wonderful hotel Atahotel Naxos Beach 4 * (formerly NAXOS BEACH RESORT 4 *).
Therefore, when a year later, I sent my aunt and uncle to this hotel, I advised them to just enjoy their vacation and wander around the area. Following my advice, they returned rested and full of enthusiastic reviews of the Atahotel Naxos Beach 4* (formerly NAXOS BEACH RESORT 4*). It truly is one of the best not only on the east coast, but in all of Sicily. We have seen more expensive hotels in Taormina, but due to the lack of such a wonderful territory, they cannot be compared with our hotel. If you go to Sicily, then definitely go to Atahotel Naxos Beach 4* (formerly NAXOS BEACH RESORT 4*).
