The first acquaintance with the Chinese beach caused a shock: a huge number of people, conditions on the beach, kilometer-long traffic jams... The information received was taken into account before the next trip to the sea.
So, here are some things to consider before heading out for the weekend:

  1. You need to leave Shenzhen for the beach EARLY in the morning! To get through the traffic jam, otherwise everything could drag on for long hours of waiting. On weekends, all the Chinese go to the beach, so it’s important not to get caught up in this crowd. On the road, in case you get stuck in a traffic jam, you need to stock up on food and water, so that if something happens you can refresh yourself.

  2. You need to book your hotel IN ADVANCE. You should not count on a large number of hotels; in fact, all the rooms may be occupied and then you will have to spend the night on the beach. In July there is an unprecedented influx of Chinese, housing prices are high - from 400 yuan/night.

  3. If possible, you should arrive and leave on a weekday. Because of such long journeys, a lot of effort and time are wasted, and in the end there are only a few hours left for rest. What comes out is not rest, but complete torment.

  4. Upon arrival at the beach, it is better to go to the side, away from the main entrance, so as not to get into the epicenter of a crowd of Chinese. It’s quieter there, there aren’t so many people and you can swim everywhere, not just in specially designated areas.

  5. Sunscreen and a hat are required! The sun can be very hot and it is not always possible to hide from it.

  6. In local establishments, the menu is exclusively in Chinese and without pictures. But you can always order something that is cooked on the grill) In some you can meet English-speaking Chinese, but this is rather an exception. Meeting such people is real luck. They can tell you where to go, where to buy what, etc.

  7. You need to have time to leave back in the direction of Shenzhen before 18:00! And it’s better even earlier, in order to get through the traffic jam that forms from the stream of Chinese rushing home.

This time we visitedlie Dong Chong. It's surrounded by these cute little hotels. It's very cozy here. Hotels and rooms are small and clean. Overall very good.

The air here is unusually clean! Sea, mountains and lush vegetation - a magnificent landscape!

On the beach you can rent a tent with a table and chairs for 100 yuan for the whole day. There is shade from the sun, shelter from the rain, and you can have lunch. There are cafes right on the beach. But it is better to eat there only in case of urgent need.

It's better to buy fruit. Very often you can find an uncle or auntie with such baskets selling longan, lychee and rambutan. Tasty and healthy.

There are few people on the beach. Most appear in the evening, mainly to take photos and stand in circles)

Many families vacation with children. Children frolic near the water. You can definitely meet a little Superman on any beach) Such suits are very popular.

It is worth noting that the water is very salty. If you dive, it will directly corrode your eyes. The color of the water here is more greenish, not as rusty as at Dameisha beach. The beach is relatively clean. But here and there you come across half-empty water bottles and fruit skins.

To diversify your leisure time, you can rent a surfboard (150 yuan / 3 hours) or take a boat ride.

We liked this trip more than the previous one. The main thing is to plan everything clearly!

Today Shenzhen is one of the most dynamically developing cities in China, fourth among the most competitive cities in the country.

Population of Shenzhen for 2018 is about 16 million people, and the city is among the top five cities in the world in terms of population growth rates. Thanks to huge foreign and government investments, Shenzhen has become a major industrial, financial and transport center of China in a fairly short period of time.

In addition, Shenzhen is called "the heart of electronics around the world", since all the electronic products used by humanity are produced here.

Phones, tablets, watches, toys, robots - everything a person can think of is presented on Shenzhen markets.

So don't mention it Chinese city, which from its founding (1979) to the present day has acquired such a significant global status, is simply not possible.

Shenzhen is located in Guangdong province in southeast China, bordering Hong Kong, which brings only positive effects to it.

Washing the shores of the city South China Sea, which gives the city not only the status of a resort, but also a major port city of the PRC.

The average air temperature in winter ranges from approximately 6 to 18 degrees above zero and in summer about +40. The city is very green, the air is quite clean, so living here is very comfortable. Weather in Shenzhen very nice...)

After interviewing foreign friends living in Shenzhen, we compiled a list of the city's top attractions. So, what to see in Shenzhen:

1. Theme park "The window of the world"(深圳世界之窗)

As we already wrote in the article , the Chinese love to copy other countries on their territory. So, in Shenzhen there is theme park "Window to the World" with copies of landmarks known to all mankind: Egyptian pyramids, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Leaning Tower of Pisa and others.

Why should the Chinese go abroad if they can do it abroad at home?)

2. Shopping Park(购物公园)

The city center with an endless stream of shops and cozy restaurants, bars and clubs.

3. Huaqianglu Electronics Market(华强路)

A place that will truly not leave any lover of electronic devices indifferent. Everything you need is here. , smartphones, tablets, computers, Chinese miracle technology. It’s better to go in the morning, as you can spend a lot of time there!)

4. Dameisha Beach (大梅沙)

Incredible beautiful beach in the suburbs of Shenzhen. If you prefer beach holiday and want to get away from the oppressive atmosphere of the metropolis, swim in the sea, breathe clean air and enjoy nature - come here!

Shenzhen is a wonderful city that leaves only positive impressions!)

By the way, if you are homesick for homemade food, in Shenzhen you can order cottage cheese, sour cream, pate, dumplings and other goodies from beautiful woman Angela. A professional chef from Ukraine often pampers foreigners living in China with his unusually delicious culinary delights. Wechat number can be found by contacting us)

Everyone who comes to Shenzhen tries to find time to visit the famous beaches of this city. Coastline It’s long there - 230 km, so there are many recreation areas. However, the most attractive are Da Mei Sha (大梅沙) and Xiao Mei Sha (小梅沙). They were chosen by the Russians who had been living in Shenzhen for a long time.

But even between these beaches located close to each other, there is an unspoken competition, in which Da Mei Sha usually wins. These are two kilometers of golden sand washed by azure water, coconut palms, mountains on three sides and sculptures - symbols of happiness. The beauty here is truly fabulous. Well, there is also a plus - the beach is free, which is important for travelers. Of course, you have to pay for something, but these are additional pleasures that come with natural beauty: soaring over the sea on a parachute, prancing across the sand on a horse, etc. However, it’s very pleasant to simply lie on the fine gentle sand for free, admiring the picturesque picture. In addition, it is in this area that the Overseas Chinese Town East is located, which includes two parks - Ecoventure Valley and Tea Stream Resort Valley. How poetic the Chinese can be - after hearing such names, it is simply impossible to refuse a walk in at least one park. Moreover, it is so beautiful there that you always want to take photos of Shenzhen so that you can look at them at home and remember the trip. Waterfall, forest, Swiss village, breweries, ancient city tea, a golf course... That's for sure - there are no limits to the imagination of the park's creators. Naturally, there are also cafes where you can sit and enjoy oriental delicacies.

Russians living in Shenzhen, who have long chosen this beach, recommend taking at least a large towel and flip flops with you - the sand there is very hot, so you will still have to buy it. Umbrellas, which can be rented for 40 yuan, help a little, but you will need to pay a deposit of 100 yuan. Swimming areas are fenced off with buoys, there are always a lot of people there, and it is not always possible to swim further away - vigilant guards on duty return you to the “zone.” Europeans note one drawback - there is no shower, nowhere to rinse off sea water. At the same time, everyone says that the water there is soft and not very salty.

The beaches of Shenzhen are not very far from the city - up to Da Mei Sha from the Window of the World“In the center, double-decker bus No. 1 takes about an hour and a half. The ticket costs 8 yuan. The road does not tire you, because the view from the window is excellent, and the bus itself is quite comfortable.

If for some reason you don’t like the free beach, you can move to another one - Xia Mei Sha, the entrance to which costs 30 yuan. You can stay there all night and, if you wish, swim by the light of lanterns. This beach is very close to Da Mei Sha. Experienced travelers say that you don’t have to take the bus, but just walk - the road is pleasant, it takes less than an hour to walk. You can even go straight along the landscaped coastal path. A wave splashes at your feet, the breeze blows across your face... Isn’t it nice?

Xia Mei Sha is slightly smaller than Da Mei Sha, but they are very similar. The only difference, perhaps, is that the Chinese like to stay there overnight, so on weekends the beach turns into a tent city.

In any case, both beaches provide an excellent opportunity to relax and enjoy your vacation. There is also a park called Shenzhen Xiaomeisha Sea World. This is what is commonly called East Hawaii. Given the Chinese love for gigantomania, this is also not just a park, but a whole complex, which includes the Ocean Garden, Poseidon Garden, Turtle Island and other interesting objects.

Russians in Shenzhen appreciate these beaches, although you can choose something else. For example, Rose Coast with fine sand. For fishing lovers, there is a special pier that goes directly to the open sea. Rose Coast Beach is located in Shangdong village, near Kuichong town, Longan district. There are also such interesting beaches as Dongchong Beach and Xichong Beach. There are excellent conditions for surfing and fishing enthusiasts, but there is a significant drawback for tourists - it is difficult to get there, since it is far from the city and you will have to spend a lot of time. First you need to come to Nan'ao by bus E11, and then transfer to the “black” van going to the beach. But you can pitch a tent there. By the way, it’s quite romantic, especially if you don’t have a lot of money. Sleeping under the stars, sea air, sunrises and sunsets...

And yet, the Chinese would not be Chinese if they left the Beaches of Shenzhen only as a recreation area; their business plans were initially calculated on more substantial profits. Therefore, the infrastructure around these wonderful places is well developed. If possible, it is worth renting a room at the Sheraton Dameisha Resort with a private “piece” of Da Mei Sha. If you don’t want to go to the sea, there are swimming pools and also spa and fitness centers. Rest, rest! Or, for example, a room in the Pattaya Hotel not far from the Sheraton. The rooms are decorated to resemble ancient Siam, there is a park nearby.

Of course, many travelers choose less pretentious hotels, because they come to see as much as possible and have a good rest, and not to sit in their room. Therefore, they prefer hotels like “ bed and breakfast" For example, "Aloha Beach Club", where, among other things, you can rent equipment for marine species sports It is important that in this place there is almost always a breeze, which is necessary for those who like windsurfing. You can get there by bus No. H92 or E11 to the Dapeng stop, and then a little more by taxi. Many people like that this hotel offers a European menu; there is always coffee and soups.

Shenzhen is “lucky” - it is located on the coast of the South China Sea, in the subtropics. Hence, it is simply a paradise for lovers beach holiday. In addition, you can choose the beach itself depending on your interests and financial capabilities. In any case, if you happen to come to these places, it’s worth spending at least one day on the beach. Relax, swim, sunbathe and take a photo of Shenzhen as a souvenir of a wonderful trip.
