The flight took 10 hours with Oregon Air Charter Pegasus. No complaints. Everything is very good. Departed on time, the staff was polite, the food was delicious  and 2 times. Arrival at Cam Ranh airport.
Upon arrival, we decided not to take the bus; we had read reviews about the painful 6-hour journey. We took a taxi with the guys who were also going to this hotel (we agreed on 100 usd for a 7-seater car, four of us were traveling + suitcases). It turned out that the taxi driver did not know how to go to our hotel when we reached Mui Ne. It turned out to be quite an adventure. In Mui Ne, our boys stopped another taxi driver from the same company as ours, who said that our hotel was still 50 km away. And he didn’t lie. However, we agreed on a price of 100 usd to the hotel, but they demanded another 35 usd from us. As a result, after a long conversation with all the parties to the dispute - the four of us and two drivers, we gave 65 usd to the one who was carrying from the airport, and 35 to the one who was carrying further. Moved to the Chevrolet Spark! There is no limit to comfort, as they say - two suitcases on your lap, two in the trunk. An hour later we were at the hotel. In the end, the journey took us 4-5 hours. Lost a whole hour on finding the road and persuading drivers. Arriving past other hotels, we expected something worse from ours, but upon arrival we were incredibly happy. The hotel turned out to be just candy. About 40 minutes after we checked in, the rest of the tourists who had flown with us arrived. So decide for yourself whether to go by bus with everyone or by taxi . One plus of this adventure was that the guys we met turned out to be just great people. As a result, we spent the entire holiday with them! Thanks to Natasha and Andrey for great company! 
It was our first time in Vietnam. I really liked the country itself, except for the pollution from household garbage.
The hotel is an exception in this regard. Since the beach is our own, it is very clean, it is cleaned every day. But the fact is that there are some midges in the sand, some people had their whole bodies bitten! We avoided this problem as we spent more time by the pool. It’s also hard to lie on the beach, because the strong wind causes the sand to rise and fly into your mouth, eyes, etc. And sometimes squids crawl out of the sand . But it's not scary. I ask everyone to pay attention to the fact that Vietnam is located almost on the equator, and under no circumstances sunbathe even for 10 minutes during prohibited hours in the open sun without an umbrella! Burns or allergies guaranteed! (I myself encountered this problem, I walked around for 2 days with a terrible allergy (my face was swollen and red), although I am not allergic to anything in principle. People, use creams with a high protection factor!
On the second day of our vacation, our guides gathered us in the hotel conference room (about 100 people arrived). It was some kind of nightmare. The guides were very insistent on purchasing tours from them. What happened next was even more interesting, I’ll tell you now. And the guide Anna exchanged rubles for dollars at the rate of 37 rubles for 1 dollar. At the same time, she pretended that she was doing people a favor. Advice - buy foreign currency in advance! Guides Polat and Anna simply left a disgusting impression about the Pegasus company.
I read everything in advance about holidays in Vietnam, about excursions. I knew a specific company through which everyone goes on excursions (a local excursion operator, whoever needs it, write to me in a personal message and I’ll tell you the name). I also knew the prices in advance. We were also interested specific dates for excursions. Pegasus proposed one date for each excursion, although they could not be combined. Despite the fact that we were going to Dalat and Nechang-Vinpearl. These two cities are not far from each other. Accordingly, it is convenient to combine two excursions so as not to travel 500 km twice.
Pegasus offered a good option for visiting Vinpearl Island the day before departure, overnight in a hotel - 40 minutes from the airport. For those who were not going to Dalat, of course, this option is convenient. But, please note, the excursion costs 4 times more per person than the locals! Accordingly, we chose to purchase excursions on our own. Over the next three days, Anna and Polat pestered us - buy excursions from us, under no circumstances buy from locals, etc. OVERCOME!
The next day, sitting at the reception, we look at the booklet of a local company that competes with Pegasus in excursions. Anna comes along, again says nasty things about the locals, rips their booklet to shreds, says something like that we are fools, and so that she doesn’t see this booklet in our hands again! This is a fight for the client! Well, wow, I created a whole lot of action!
Then it gets more interesting, we call a local company to book a two-day excursion to Datal-Nechang, we call from the reception. Palat comes up and brazenly eavesdrops. We successfully booked the excursion. Let's leave. Polat scolds the administrators for helping us call and comes towards us with a menacing, intimidating look. Then he says: “Of course, go ahead, go on an excursion, you don’t care about life, etc., etc.”... further, just extravaganza, he says that if we tell someone that we bought excursions cheaper from another company, then he will deport us from the country. We (the girls) felt a little uneasy from such threats, and our men, of course, got angry with him, but only laughed after him, giving them a high five for restraint. In fact, threatening other people is a criminal offense! After this conversation, the guides finally get rid of us.
In the end, we had a good time on the excursion. They picked me up on time and brought me back too. Meals are included in the price, the bus is normal (but the distance between the seats is small, but it depends on your luck). The guide is a Russian speaker with a Russian education. Just a great guy, at the end of the trip he even sang songs to us in Russian. He sang well and touched my soul. I really enjoyed the excursion. Especially an amusement park. I advise you to read on the Internet in more detail and still go there. I also liked Dalat, especially the Buddhist pagoda. Also read the description on the Internet.
So, let's get back to the hotel description.
The sea, as described earlier, is very choppy. The waves are constant. There is never a time when they are not there, but this is a feature of Vietnam; this cannot be attributed to the features of the hotel. We ourselves really liked the waves - it’s more fun  However, if you don’t want to swim in the waves, there are 2 swimming pools at the guests’ disposal, one smaller one is next to the beach, one is just huge, a little far from the beach, almost no one swims there. There is also a very good children's pool. There are really few sunbeds in the hotel, we had to borrow them in the morning, but in the afternoon everything is free. The hotel area is very large, so there was no feeling of too much population density per m2. As we understand, there are few hotels like this in Vietnam. It is very big, very well-groomed and neat! Breakfast is good, even very good. A full assortment of traditional and exotic fruits, freshly squeezed juices, all kinds of vegetables and always soup - cooked every day with different fillings (broth + seafood\chicken\meat\shrimp+noodles), also freshly prepared omelette with vegetables, buns, etc. You can dine at the hotel restaurant. Prices are normal, but a little more expensive than in the neighboring cafe. However, the quality of execution is better in the restaurant, but this only applies to soups. We liked all the other dishes much better in the cafe in the fishing village. From the hotel turn left - walk 2 minutes. The food is fresh, tasty, inexpensive (soup - 90 rubles, rice with seafood 180 rubles, freshly squeezed juices for 40 rubles, etc.), it’s better to go there at 17:00, earlier there are no Russian-speaking waiters, later, there are a lot of people, you may not wait for your order. We had this happen once, and it also happened that some dish ran out. This is due to the fact that all products are fresh, not frozen. The amount of fish or shrimp we caught was the amount we cooked. The food is high quality - no one has ever had a bad experience . 10 km from the hotel there is a lighthouse and a rocky beach - it’s beautiful, I advise you to go. But it’s also better to take a moped; a taxi will be expensive. To get to the island on which the lighthouse is located, in the village you need to hire a basin boat, on which a local resident will take you there. However, everyone complains that the pleasure is expensive. We didn't go ourselves, but we heard good feedback .
Many people write that the hotel is far from Phan Thiet, but this is a PLUS! You are clean, away from dirt, noise and exhaust! And, if you need to go to the city, it’s not a problem to rent a moped (we rented it for three days, there were no problems, the main thing is to ride with a helmet), well, who is afraid, you can ride on regular ones public buses(from the hotel to Phan Thiet, transfer opposite the USSR shopping center to bus number 9 to Mui Ne), or take a taxi, but to be honest, it’s expensive. From the Shopping Center to the hotel - 450 rubles, we didn’t even go from Mui Ne, we think it will be incredibly expensive! There is nothing to do in Phan Thiet itself, clubs, shopping centers There are NO decent restaurants! But I advise those who like to study the color of the country to definitely visit the market. This is a local market where people sleep, eat, work, and probably even have sex. That is, they lead a full life! The market is located at the entrance to the city before reaching the bridge to the street going to the left (if you come from the hotel). Ask any foreigner for MARKET and they will tell you how to get there. In Vietnam they don’t understand either Russian or English, so get ready for a widespread game of crocodile. Russian is spoken only in Mui Ne. Our men even managed to eat once in a cafe on the street with plastic chairs. They said they couldn't taste it - it was just spicy. But they remained alive. Which in itself is very good .
So, if you have already visited the market in Phan Thiet, then go, definitely to Mui Ne. This is a whole street-block, in which there are hotels along the beach side, then behind Boke (a remote area of Mui Ne) there are night bars, simply amazing! Each of them is unique; if you walk down the street, you will see. There is a bar with beds on the sand, a very interesting lounge place. Prices are naturally very low everywhere. On the opposite side of the road there are all kinds of cafes, restaurants, and spa salons. Massage prices average 9 usd for the whole body per hour. They do, frankly speaking, worse than in Thailand. I also recommend drinking local beer and freshly squeezed juices in Vietnam, just ask for no ice! The ice there is river...don't risk it  From food in Boka if a giant shrimp weighing 600 grams, shark, shells, king prawns. We ate crocodile twice – it was very tasty grilled (in a cafe in Mui Ne). On our last evening in Mui Ne we discovered a very inexpensive cafe with very good cuisine. It is located approximately in the center of the length of the street in Mui Ne. Its distinctive feature is that there is a stand with seafood in a semicircle, with a grill inside the half-circle. Opposite the Africa store. The prices there are 2-3 times lower than everywhere else, but everything is very good. I recommend.

In general, the conclusion is that it is good in the south of Vietnam in Mui Ne or away from Phan Thiet, like this hotel. Because living in Phan Thiet is just terrible! It's very dirty there, poor hotels and a lot local residents, no sea!

I wish you all a pleasant trip! And if the question arises: to go or not to go, in principle, to Vietnam, the answer is clear - to go! And please don't compare with Ty, at all. different countries, respect the culture and history of the people you are coming to visit, read more reviews about the country in general to better understand whether the country is suitable for you or whether the country is interesting to you.

The hotel is not worth the money. Hotel gives impression as a ghost place nothing on the territory working. Only one restaurant with very small menu. Breakfast is very poor and 90% only Asian food. Staff don"t speak English at all. This hotel is worth only 3 stars or less. I was very disappointed The hotel gives the impression of a ghost and complete desolation; nothing on the territory works. There are no sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach and at the two pools, the spa is closed. It works only a very uncomfortable restaurant with a very modest menu. Breakfast is poor and 90% is designed only for the Chinese. The staff does not speak English at all. The hotel is not worth the money they ask for it and does not deserve 5 stars, maximum 3 or less. I was very disappointed.

Only good in this hotel was my room. Room was nice, clean and comfortable The only thing that was good about this hotel was my room was nice, clean and comfortable

The robes are cheap, the slippers are reusable. The bathroom is not shared with the toilet.

A room with a sea view, we rented it 1 day before departure, the beds are soft, the pillows are soft, there are TV channels in Russian, breakfast was provided and a free taxi to the airport was provided. 1 day was enough. If you take on too much, you can go crazy with boredom. Before that we lived for three weeks in Nha Trang in the European quarter.

There is a minimum of staff, the impressions are contradictory: it seems like 5 stars, but the air conditioners work poorly, and in some places they don’t work at all, there are no visitors, there is no resort bustle. In the canteen (restaurant), guests come for dinner in T-shirts and without T-shirts, there is no dress code at least minimally, they smoke at the table. The menu consists of 6-7 dishes in total. 3 star service. There is an abandoned unfinished building on the territory. It seems that when everything was thriving and now everything is in a state of depression. Although the potential of the place is huge - a magnificent beach, water park, swimming pools, views, walking distance from the airport. There is a hotel nearby - life is in full swing there)) and the price tag for the room is at the level of 5 stars. I don’t recommend it for more than a day, just to spend the night and move on.

For some reason, the booking map leads to another hotel, which is closed and from which it is still a decent walk. In the evenings, for some reason, it was during our presence that there was a buffet with lobsters for 800,000 dong for one - that’s about 2,300 rubles. It’s very expensive and there’s nowhere else to eat. We found a way out - we ordered more food during the day and took some of it with us to our room. There is a hypothetical free bus to Nha Trang, but it runs/doesn’t run unpredictably, we never managed to go on it.

The hotel is located very close to the airport. From the airport you can take a Grab taxi for an average of 60 thousand VND or by bus from the domestic flight terminal for 50,000. You need to show the conductor the name of the hotel or address and she will figure it out. In front of the hotel there is a water park with large written Golden Peak and there is also a sign with a name and an arrow. If you take a bus, you will have to walk up the hill. The hotel staff is friendly, some speak reasonable English, but even if they don’t understand, they try to help. You can communicate through Google Translator, there is open Wi-Fi. We quickly checked in, brought the suitcase to the room, and showed everything. The room was large, bright, and despite the fact that it overlooked the garden, it also had a beautiful view of the sea. The hotel has three buildings, we were placed in the one closest to the sea, next to which there is a swimming pool. They brought a compliment - a plate of fruit, a fork and a knife. Large bathroom with full-wall glass, air conditioning, towels, bathrobes, bath accessories - everything is there. Breakfast was in a separate room from everyone else - it was very nice that there was no crowd of Chinese. Breakfast is varied, lots of delicious pastries and fruits. During the day, the restaurant operates like a regular restaurant - you can eat delicious dishes from a small menu. Very tasty dumplings. To go to a neighboring city, you can go out onto the road and catch a bus, waving your arms. Will take you to Nha Trang. It will also bring you back if you show the name to the conductor. They clean very well, there is a kettle, coffee, tea. A shop opened in the room below the restaurant, where you could buy fruit, coffee, and cookies at a reasonable price. Mostly Russians go to the neighboring hotel with Pegasus - it is only all inclusive, but almost all the rooms there are full, there is a terrible anthill in the pools and the sea. This hotel is very calm and quiet, there are rarely groups of Chinese, but they quickly leave as they do not like to sunbathe.

Staff, service, soundproofing of rooms, etc. We came with family and friends to spend the night before flying to Russia. Upon check-in, the rooms provided were not the ones in the order. We decided not to change, since there was little time to argue; we planned to leave early in the morning. In the evening we ordered two taxis, since the staff at the reception refused to understand that we needed a minibus for 6 people and luggage. At four in the morning a surprise awaited us - one taxi with two extra seats in the trunk. The hotel employee answered all our questions and requests to call another car with one phrase: only one. It was 2 hours before the plane, I had to sit in this car with luggage in my arms like sardines in a barrel. By the way, it was not a taxi at all, but as we understood, the hotel employee decided to make money from tourists. No meter, no driving skills. A minute after leaving the hotel, we passed a parking lot with 15-20 official taxi cars. In terms of accommodation - one night with screaming Chinese in the corridor until the middle of the night, who knows, he will understand. Hotel "5 stars"

We had a family vacation (father, mother and 3-year-old son) at the Golden Peak Resort & Spa Cam Ranh from 10/21/2019 to 11/02/2019. We went for good luck, since there were no full reviews about this hotel on the Internet or among friends. So, in order. Check-in We arrived in Cam Ranh in the morning, so we ended up at the hotel at 9 am. According to international rules, check-in occurs at 14-00, i.e. wait a long time. An attempt to communicate with the hotel manager at the reception desk in English and Russian did not lead to success. Looking ahead a little, I will say right away that these languages are not familiar to the hotel staff. Basically. During my almost 2 weeks of vacation there, I probably met only a couple of people from the service staff who tried to communicate at least English language. Well, the hotel manager has alreadyan adult man who knows a little Russian words. The issue of early check-in was resolved with the help of: a) Google translator (fortunately, Wi-Fi works quite consistently throughout the hotel) and b) 40 US dollars in dong equivalent. My offer to pay with a 100 dollar bill caused fear and bewilderment in the manager. Seeing such confusion, he offered to pay by bank card . This option turned out to be more acceptable and 920,000 VND was debited from my account for earlier check-in. The issue with breakfast was immediately resolved. Within about 10 minutes, they found a room for us and gave us an access card (2 pieces), which also served as a “ticket” for breakfast. Thus, leaving our luggage at the reception, our whole family went to have breakfast. After returning to the hall, our luggage was already delivered to our room. We were escorted to our room and the vacation began. I give the hotel 5 points for check-in. Room and accommodation The hotel consists of 693 rooms (or so). These are three buildings of 7 floors, of which only one was working at the time of our vacation. The rooms are large and comfortable, as is customary in Asia. We weren't particularly surprised by anything. Everything is expected. The rooms are exactly the same as in the photographs. The only thing is that they are naturally not 100% fresh, but everything worked, spun, turned on, etc. In the room, at our request, two large beds were moved in advance into one VERY large bed. 5 people could easily fit. Also in the room there was a TV, a kettle, tea sets, a nice sofa, one chair and a glass coffee table. The only thing we were missing was chairs on the balcony. The room was cleaned daily. Usually it was performed by three Vietnamese women, who in 5 minutes brought the room into complete order. There were no special comments regarding the cleaning. The floors were washed well, the trash was taken out, towels and linen were changed every day. The plumbing was also washed every day. I only left tips a couple of times. The quality of cleaning was not affected in any way. I also give 5 points specifically for the room. You can give a small minus only because the room stock is already a little worn out. But this is not critical. But with accommodation in general there are some small questions/problems/nuances. 1. There is no floor covering in the corridors, i.e. there is bare marble on the floor. The result is that any noise that occurs in the corridor spreads to all rooms on the floor. Several times at night this caused real inconvenience, as I heard drunken swearing by the Chinese - not what I was going to relax in a 5-star hotel for. 2. In the afternoon we encountered a second problem. Music from the nearby water park reached the room easily and naturally, so a nap during the day was only possible after getting used to the repertoire used in the water park. 3. Air conditioning. More precisely, a remote block. More precisely, the remote air conditioning unit of the neighboring room, which is located on the wall of my room. Of course he makes noise. Moreover, from time to time it makes a very intrusive and unpleasant noise. Moreover, both at night and during the day, and its operating mode depends only on your neighbor. This is a big minus. 4. Features of everyday life: - There are no shelves for clothes in the wardrobe and few hangers (5 pieces). At the same time, there are convenient shelves along one wall of the room. - Options for turning on the light in the room - for every taste. - The mattresses on the bed are quite hard. The pillows are ordinary and for me a little light, “airy”. - Every day they brought a bottle of 0.33 liters of drinking water per person. Tea and coffee (packaged) free of charge. There is a minibar with 4 drinks. - Soap and soap cosmetics for every taste. Enough for everyone. Updated daily. - Towels and bed linen are of good quality and always white, and not, for example, yellow. Total for the room and accommodation 4 points. Hotel territory and infrastructure The territory is quite large, but at the same time it is of average grooming. It seems to be clean, but there is always something to dig into, from broken lamps to fragments of jointing on the tiles next to the pools. Those. If you look from afar, the picture is mesmerizing. If you look closely, you can see a lot of small (sometimes not only) flaws. At the same time, there is essentially nothing else on the territory except two large swimming pools and one playground. A bit weak. There's not even a place to take a photo. But in the lower pool you can take very interesting photographs with the sea in the background. 4 points for territory. The infrastructure is very bad. Half of what there is is not functioning: the bar by the lower pool (next to the beach); toilet and shower there; women's toilet near the upper pool. Sunbeds without soft bedding (by some miracle they appeared only for one day and then disappeared again somewhere). The umbrellas next to the sunbeds are shabby and their deployment mechanism is rusty, like an old Zhiguli. I couldn't open it on my own. A separate point is access to infrastructure, for example, for wheelchairs. There are no ramps anywhere, the steps are gigantic - you won’t get much of a ride. This is also a minus. There seems to be a playground, but it seems to be half broken/disassembled, etc. And of course not well-groomed. Gobies and garbage in the sand are straight classics from the USSR. Total for section 4 with a big minus. And then 4 is an advance payment, because during our vacation, the hotel employees put the area in order a little every day. Beach and sea Everything is ambiguous here too. Overall, the place is beautiful. The landscape is mesmerizing, BUT! The beach is essentially not cleaned. Garbage is everywhere. Basically the one that washed ashore. The first time the beach was cleaned was only at the end of the second week of our stay at the hotel. There are only 10 sun loungers. For a hotel of 693 rooms…. BUT! Moreover, they are almost always empty, and the hotel itself is almost empty. Therefore, there were no problems with sunbeds (in terms of availability). The beach has soft sand that does not heat up in the sun. Unlike Nha Trang, you can walk barefoot, and not run at the speed of light to the burn department. The sea is also ambiguous. Well, it’s more likely that we were there out of season. In general the sea is shallow. And when there are no waves, it’s probably gorgeous. BUT! (again) we were there when the season was already over and the wind was almost always blowing, so there were waves on the sea. Taking into account the fact that it is small, the following situation resulted. To splash into the sea, you had to walk at least 50 meters to be at least chest-deep in the water. At the same time, in this place the height of the waves reached the same meter. Overall, swimming in such waves in such shallow water is not fun. In Nha Trang, where the sea is deeper, swimming is much more pleasant. And here I would like to emphasize that Nha Trang and Cam Ranh (specifically Bai Dai beach) are two completely different seas! Keep in mind. The final score for the section is again 4 with a fat minus. Most likely in the season, the score would be 5 points. Hotel location The hotel is located a real 5 minute drive from Cam Ranh Airport. Very convenient in terms of transfer. But Nha Trang is about 40 km away. Inconvenient. You can get to Nha Trang either by taxi (about 350,000 VND one way) or by shuttle from the hotel, which goes to the city every day according to the schedule “from the hotel at 9-30, from Nha Trang at 16-00”. At the same time, the (small) bus does not take you to the center of Nha Trang, as you would like, but to an area next to the Oceanographic Institute. It's also inconvenient. Those. Then you go on your own/by taxi to go about your business. The cost of a taxi from the drop-off point to the center is 60,000 VND. In general, access to Nha Trang is difficult. There are only two facilities directly next to the hotel: the neighboring Swandor Hotels & Resorts Cam Ranh 5 and our hotel's water park. Those. there is essentially nothing nearby. There is nowhere to leave the hotel. Officially, they are not allowed into the territory of the neighboring hotel, but our colleagues and the Russian Federation went there, and moreover, they even ate in their restaurant. The town of Cam Ranb is 10 km away. A simplified version of Nha Trang (i.e. without skyscrapers and vacationers). But there's not much to do there. If only you take a taxi to the store (about 320,000 dong round trip, for information). This section remains unrated, since we deliberately went to a secluded hotel. Food Like everything in this hotel, it’s ambiguous for me. On the one hand, very decent breakfasts. Every morning a choice of 6 hot dishes (meat, vegetables, rice, and noodles), broths and soups (so-called “pho bo”), baked goods, fruits, sausages, bacon, sauces, cereals, jams, fresh juices (pineapple and watermelon ), yoghurts, fried eggs, etc. In general, as in ordinary 5s. At the same time, all non-Chinese (mainly Russians and Koreans) are fed in a small and cozy room separate from the Chinese. Although once we had breakfast at big hall We didn’t find any significant differences with the Chinese. They are just preparing for the Chinese their traditional dishes that are incomprehensible to us. On the other hand, lunches and dinners. Yes, yes, we went to FB because we were with a child and had no idea where we could eat nearby. As it turned out, there was nowhere to eat nearby. Only at the hotel. True, as I already wrote above, it seems like there is an opportunity for money to go to all-inclusive meals in neighboring Svandor, but we didn’t do that. So, the local FB is a menu of 4 pages: salads (6 pieces), first courses (7 pieces), second courses (8 pieces), desserts (6 pieces). It seems good, but again BUT... - All salads, except one, are purely Vietnamese cuisine. It's not scary, but there is essentially no choice. One salad was always missing. One of the remaining ones is Olivier “Vietnamese style”. - First meal. Quiet horror. Three puree soups, two of which are absolutely impossible to eat, because they have 10,000 points on the sourness scale. Tom yam is delicious, but you shouldn't eat it every day. In total, the choice is sharply reduced. - Second courses. In general, not bad, BUT half of the dishes have crushed potatoes as a side dish. Only this is not our Russian pound, but theirs, Vietnamese, similar to klester. By the second week I was already sick of it. However, you will not be able to change the side dish for free. The cook works strictly according to the menu. - Dessert. Edible items include fruit and one item. Everything else, according to my wife, can go straight into the trash. Desserts are not about Vietnam. What do we have as a bare remainder? Living on such a menu for 2 weeks is unrealistic and simply painful. You'll get bored. Therefore, in the second week we began to practice purchasing dishes from the paid menu, since there was a much larger choice there. Prices are slightly higher than in (regular) restaurants in Nha Trang. In general, the food is prepared tolerably well. In 2 weeks there were only 2 cases when the chef ended up with some kind of poop. Once the basic pho bo soup tasted like rotten meat, and the second time they brought outright raw fish. As for the rest, in terms of the quality of food preparation - only a couple of times they brought a steak with blood, but after the request they cooked it to “well-dan” condition. On a note. There is no menu for children. Those. If your child is a picky eater, serious problems may arise. My most On vacation I ate stewed pork with potatoes and there were no problems. Conclusions. If you travel without a child, then FB food is definitely not needed. You will eat either in Nha Trang or in a local restaurant for money, but with a large selection of dishes. If you travel with a child, then... there are no recommendations. Here everyone decides for themselves. For us, the best option was FB + ordering additional food for money. Total for food 3 points. Another feature of getting food in this hotel. As I already said, it was never possible to agree with the restaurant employees to prepare us something different from what was indicated on the menu. Neither requests to simply boil a piece of chicken without spices for the child, nor to simply cook boiled shrimp (for money, of course) were not successful. Perhaps we were just unlucky. The second point is the store and alcohol. As you might guess, FB is food and ONLY water. All other drinks are for money. Their selection is small, and prices are significantly higher than market ones. For example, 0.33 liters of Saigon or Tiger beer costs 40,000 dong at the hotel. Freely available in Nha Trang for 9,000 VND. Drinking water 1.5 liters in the hotel store costs 50,000 VND, in Nha Trang – 8,000 VND. The difference is noticeable. Therefore, traveling to Nha Trang is not a luxury or entertainment, but a necessity!  Water park The water park is good. Everything works, nothing to complain about. We learned the truth that it was free for our hotel guests only towards the end of the vacation. There are almost never any visitors there, so we only went there to have fun with our family. Water park 5 points. Hotel staff There are no comments about the staff. They were always helpful, helped as best they could, and treated us with respect. But that’s if I had Google Translate, because without it they simply don’t understand what they want from them. Score 5 points. Overall rating of the hotel So, the first thing was not very conducive to rest. Little (VERY LITTLE) information in Russian and lack of Russian-speaking staff. It will be difficult without an electronic translation assistant. The main contingent of visitors are Chinese. A lot of them. Almost everyone in the hotel, 90 percent. They are noisy, arrogant and strange to us. At the same time, they are almost invisible. You can meet them at the reception, when the next batch of Chinese arrives or leaves at the hotel, or at the sea, where each Chinese spends about 30 minutes just taking pictures. During the day they are neither seen nor heard. So overall it's ok. Additionally, it’s pleasing that there are almost no Russians in the hotel, and coupled with the lack of all-inclusive food, it makes the hotel quite “unusual,” quiet and cultural. Our family moved around the hotel grounds almost 24 hours a day in splendid isolation. The entire territory, beach and pools were at our personal disposal. It’s a very peculiar feeling, I’ll tell you. It cannot be compared with neighboring Svandor. There is a piece of Turkey there. There are more people than oxygen, and 90 of these people are asocial elements of Russian origin. Final conclusions about the hotel. - In our opinion, the hotel is clearly not worthy of 5 stars. There is a lot to get to. But 4 will do just fine. - The hotel is ambiguous and peculiar. Not for everyone. Suitable for those who love silence, but at the same time don’t mind taking a trip to Nha Trang. - Most likely, we will not come to this hotel for the second time, although the holiday in general went very well. We had a wonderful rest. Thank you all for your attention. I hope the thoughts I have outlined will help you make the right choice! :-)

The restaurant is one of the most beautiful and romantic places on the hotel premises. From early morning, the windows of the establishment are opened wide, guests admire the garden and enjoy the singing of birds. Or you can sit on the open terrace.

Even the breakfast menu is rich. The chefs offer an excellent selection of snacks and hot dishes, vegetables and desserts, as well as a full range of common and exotic fruits. The dishes are both European and prepared in the best traditions of Vietnam. Soups with various fillings are highly praised: with beef, chicken, seafood, fish. The pool bar serves fruit, light snacks, cocktails and local beer.

A large selection for children thanks to elements of Russian cuisine: steamed meatballs, pancakes, simple soups, vegetables stewed with meat, mashed potatoes. In the morning, children are treated to fluffy omelettes with fillings. Fresh juices and juices are served.

You can have lunch and dinner here for a hotel fee, but tourists assure in reviews that nearby cafes and restaurants are cheaper, but much simpler and less sophisticated.

Staff

The hotel demonstrates excellent service even before its doorstep. New guests are greeted by a doorman, and you no longer have to worry about your suitcase. A warm welcome is complemented by a glass of mango juice. Wine and a fruit basket await the newlyweds in their room. A sea of smiles, quick accommodation - your holiday in 2020 will start on a positive note.

However, there is a small minus. The employees speak very little English and, of course, do not speak Russian at all. Sometimes explaining a request or desire turns into a real problem. The restaurant also does not have Russian-speaking employees, but the menu is provided with eloquent pictures.

In Golden Peak you will definitely replenish the traveler’s archive with new colorful photos and videos about another amazing vacation. The territory of the complex is gorgeous, surrounded by a sea of flowers of all shapes and colors, luxurious palm trees hung with coconuts grow. In the midst of this splendor, three swimming pools shine with a blue surface - an adult, a children's and an unusual round one. The garden is well-kept, the paths and sidewalks are thoroughly cleaned at dawn.

Sports enthusiasts have a modest gym at their disposal. The SPA center with massage rooms, sauna and jacuzzi invites you to relax. Vacationers while away their evenings playing golf, billiards and table tennis. There are barbecue areas in the garden.

The complex is focused on family holiday. In addition to the children's pool, its infrastructure includes a playground that gathers all the kids. Interesting games in the company of new friends - the kids don’t get bored.

Beach

Wide sand beach adjacent to the boundaries of the hotel. The shore is not very well landscaped; apart from sunbeds and umbrellas, nothing else is provided. The peculiarity of this place is strong winds, and this makes the sea constantly agitated. However, swinging on the waves is also a pleasure.

Parents have to be on alert, constantly monitoring their children, so many family tourists go to Ke Ga Beach, where there is shallow water and a small wave.

The beaches of the resort are very picturesque, the coastal waters give you an opportunity to get acquainted with the inhabitants of the depths: starfish, squid, and small crabs are often found off the coast. You can collect a solid collection of multi-colored shells.

Location and surroundings

Golden Peak Resort & Spa is located 20 km from Phan Thiet town in a quiet area surrounded by jungle. The road from the airport is long, seven hours with one stop at a seaside restaurant. A service bus runs to and from the city; travelers are taken on board without any problems.

Behind the store, a fishing farm awaits avid fishermen, where they will provide spinning rods for a nominal fee. They say piranhas are good for catching here.
