A cheerful and noisy town full of energy. With amazing landscape beauty, azure waters, tropical islands in the middle of the bay, vibrant nightlife, excellent diving.
The sandy city beach, about 7 km long, is municipal. There are several private beaches owned by hotels. The boulevard of coconut trees along the entire beach is a magnificent sight. Fine sand can be white or yellow-brown.
There are healing springs. 4 km from Nha Trang, adored by Russian tourists, is the Thap Ba mud bath. Tropical greenery, strange pond. Wellness center for peace and harmony. Thap Ba's range of services includes swimming pools with warm and cool mineral water, a jacuzzi, hydromassage, healing mud baths, a waterfall from a mineral spring... Russian-speaking staff will help with the choice of procedures.
Among the attractions indicated on the map is the symbol of the city - the Cham towers of Po Nagar. Of the 10, only 4 have survived. They were once part of the temple complex (VII-XII centuries).
Long Son Pagoda, which means "flying dragon", was built at the end of the 19th century. It is considered the most beautiful in the area. A unique place that you can get to using a map. At the top of the hill behind the pagoda is a stone statue of Buddha in the lotus position.
The majestic Gothic style of the monumental Cathedral of St. Mary amazes with its splendor. Russian tourists are attracted by the famous multi-colored stained glass windows, huge chimes and bells of Nha Trang Cathedral.
Bao Dai Villas is a complex with a hotel, park and museum on three hills in the center of Nha Trang. Architectural French style in harmony with oriental garden design.
Above Nha Trang Bay, at an altitude of 50 m from the sea surface, from the city to Khon Tre Island, the world's longest sea “cable car” passes. "Bamboo Island" is the largest of all the islands in the area. The five-star Vinpearl Resort & Spa with a water park, an aquarium, and an amusement park leaves a lot of positive emotions and impressions.
Hon Mun Island is a protected diving site. The unique coral gardens and the vibrant exoticism of the deep sea inhabitants of warm waters are attractive. Nha Trang, once a small fishing village, is now the beach capital of Vietnam. The municipal beach here is more than seven kilometers long. Admission to it is free for visitors. The beach is equipped and has umbrellas and sun loungers for rent. Visitors can canoe, windsurf, and scuba dive.

Currently, huge amounts of money are being invested in the city in order to create a city for tourists with excellent infrastructure; today it has become a haven for connoisseurs of beach holidays.

As in all of Vietnam, the weather here is excellent, on average about +25 to +30 C, and the sea is warm, with the exception of autumn when the rainy season begins. The rains are usually short-lived, but storms often occur here. During this period, the bay becomes cloudy and not the calmest, and Nha Trang itself can be visited by a terrible typhoon. Precipitation usually falls from autumn to early winter.

Every year, new hotels appear in the city. Today the number of hotels in the city is about 778. These are mainly small three and four star hotels. What to visit in the city

Nha Trang was able to leave for posterity interesting places that tourists love very much.

It is an attractive tourist country. There is also a coastline, with resorts that allow you to enjoy warm sea waves and good weather almost throughout the year, and many attractions that allow you to create an exciting excursion program.

Where is it located and what sea is it washed by?

Geographically Vietnam applies to Southeast Asia and is located on the Indochina Peninsula. In the West the country borders with Cambodia and Laos, in the North with China.

The Vietnamese coast stretches along the eastern and southern parts of the country and is washed by the South China Sea, the Gulf of Thailand and the Gulf of Tonkin.

Phan Thiet and Mui Ne

These resorts are located in the south of the country and specialize in beach holidays. At the same time, in Mui Ne, Russian-speaking tourists, as a rule, feel more comfortable, since the Russian diaspora has settled there, many representatives of the Russian-speaking population have their own businesses, and there are many signs in Russian on the streets.

Nha Trang

This resort is one of most popular and at the same time, like Mui Ne, it is filled with a significant amount of Russian-language service. Many Russians have their own restaurants, excursion bureaus and other companies that work in the field of tourism and recreation.

Nha Trang offers opportunities for a wide variety of recreation. Wellness services are developed here, but there is also a lot of entertainment, including the famous Vietnamese diving.

Dalat

Is high mountain resort, which is located in the central part of Vietnam. Both Vietnamese and foreigners relax here. Moreover, the resort has a certain claim to elitism:

Most resorts have access to the sea with a water temperature of at least twenty degrees, meaning you can always swim.

North less favorable weather conditions in winter. It really gets cold there (by Vietnamese standards) and swimming in winter is not possible.

Sights of the country

Authentic Vietnam is not only a resort holiday, but also an abundance.

This country has many territories where buildings of ancient civilizations and many natural beauties remain.

International airports

Now the territory of the country includes nine international airports, but only until four are there regular flights from Russia. The largest is Tan Son Nhat, which is located in Ho Chi Minh City. Not far from the capital(45 kilometers from Hanoi) is Noi Bai Airport, which attracts tourists with its architecture in the style of a classic Vietnamese pagoda.

If you need to fly to Dalang, it has its own airport three kilometers from the city. Khanh Hoa Province uses Cam Ranh, which is located in Nha Trang.

Tourists who are interested in resort holidays most often used Tan Son Nhat Airport, which is closest to popular resorts. In the future, this airport will be used for domestic flights, and “resort tourists” will be served by Long Thanh Airport.

Russian map of Nha Trang

In the European Quarter of Nha Trang there are many travel agencies with Russian names, many of them speak excellent Russian, there are agencies with Russian staff, and there are Russian-speaking Vietnamese. Almost every travel agency will provide you with a Russified and completely free map of the city, give you advice and offer inexpensive excursions.

Here is information for visiting the sights of Nha Trang on your own; in the article you will also find tips on transport and fares.

I personally visited these travel agencies in the European Quarter:

• travel agency "Uncle Vanya" - a Russian travel agency with excellent reviews and good prices for excursions;
• Russian information center - a travel agency that “mows” as an information center, tourists speak positively about it;
• Berezka Tour is a small travel agency with Russian tour sellers.

In this part of the post, I’ll tell you about several proven tourist shops that I personally went to and talked to the employees. You can get to the European Quarter either by taxi or by city buses, buses run frequently and cost pennies.

Russian Information Center in Nha Trang

Behind the loud name “Russian Information Center” and a chic sign in Russian, there is a regular network of tourist offices. It seems to me that this is a kind of deception of tourists, but what do you think about such a loud name from an ordinary company selling excursions?

The Russian Information Center provides a range of services:

• Sale of excursions;
• Currency exchange (about the dong to ruble exchange rate);
• Mobile communications, you can buy a SIM card and top up your balance;
• Transport rental, can provide assistance in renting transport, calling a taxi (about Russian and international driving licenses in Vietnam);
• Repair of computers and laptops;
• Internet cafe, desktop computer with Internet access, printer and scanner;
• Extension and registration of a visa (about Vietnamese visas for Russians).

In addition to the standard tourist package of services, at the offices of the Russian Information Center you can get a free Russian map of the city with attractions, restaurants, cafes, markets, shopping centers and bus routes indicated on it.

In addition to all of the above, the guys are always ready to help with advice, tell about local features and recommend the best restaurants and shops. The issued booklet card will contain tear-off coupons that can be used to get a discount in shops and restaurants.

On the back of the booklet there is a map of the central part of the resort (the so-called European Quarter), there are also tear-off coupons for discounts and the places where these discounts are valid are indicated. Offices are open seven days a week and on weekends from 7.30 to 21.30. When calling from Russia, remember the time difference is +4 hours.

Berezka Tour in Nha Trang

This travel agency is less well-known and does not have additional offices, at least I just don’t know anything about their existence. When visiting their office, be sure to take a map there, it is completely Russified, the most important places for a tourist are marked on it.

There is nothing superfluous on the map from Beryozka-Tour; it is very convenient for finding your way around the city.

The choice of excursion programs at Beryozka-Tour is similar to other agencies in the city, but when purchasing excursions, be sure to check all the details. There are several negative reviews about this agency on the Internet. I didn’t notice any negative aspects during my visit to their office; they are quite adequate people. Tourist map of Nha Trang

Nha Trang in terms of tourism, the city is quite simple (this is not Rome or New York). You just need to walk along it several times (or ride on public bus No. 4, which goes through the entire city) to understand its entire geography.

There is only one city beach at the resort (it’s not difficult to find), the main tourist market is Cho Dam, most Russian restaurants are located in the “European Quarter” area or in the “Gorky Park” area, all these objects are marked on any tourist map, find them as easy as pie.

There are many hotels, hotels and other guesthouses in Nha Trang, which are designed for tourists with different incomes and requirements for the quality of accommodation. You can live very simply and cheaply in the city (I stayed in one of the guesthouses for only 7 dollars a day, I was quite happy with everything about it).

If you are interested in accommodation in the European Quarter, here is a short list of the best hotels in the area (according to tourist reviews):

• Hotel Novotel Nha Trang - a nice, clean four with excellent sea views, this hotel is located across the road from the city beach;
• Starcity Nha Trang - newly built quad for a relaxing holiday, beautiful sea views and a nice swimming pool on site;
• Liberty Central Nha Trang Hotel is a good hotel in the very center of the European Quarter, the staff speaks Russian (there was a Russian-speaking employee at the reception).

I have not seen any Russian-language map of Nha Trang with hotels (I assume that such a map simply does not exist in nature), but to search for hotels you can use a convenient online booking map. Everything is very simple on it, choose the area where you would like to stay and look at the available hotels.
