  • Review of Ginot Yam Hotel Normal small 3* hotel without territory. First line with access to the promenade. 2-3 minutes walk to the main pedestrian street Netanya, 10 minutes to the bus station and market. The sea is visible from the room (if the room has a sea view), the beach is 5 minutes including going down the stairs. Breakfasts are specific, like everywhere else in Israel (kosher principle), but we were happy with everything, we didn’t go hungry. Plumbing is ok. October 19, 2013
  • Review of Margoa Hotel Netanya My wife and I visited at the end of June. We settled in the hotel, but most spent time traveling around the country in a rented car. The hotel is good in all respects - the rooms are not large, but quite cozy, very close to the sea - right on the embankment, super friendly staff. Breakfast is typical for Israel - cereals, salads, several types of cheese, fish. Drinks and coffee - all day. We had lunch and dinner outside the hotel, for variety (and to save money))). The only inconvenience is that the bed consists of two mattresses... August 22, 2012
  • Review to Holidays in Israel Since this was my second trip, I chose Netanya consciously. Firstly, this city is already familiar to me and I can navigate it freely. Secondly, it is on the seashore and you can swim in free time from excursions. Thirdly, since my first trip, I have not visited such an object as Utopia Park in Kibbutz Bahan. Therefore, Netanya is definitely. During the tour, I visited the Holy City again, was able to touch the shrines of Christianity - Golgotha, the stone of anointing, and this time I was able... • Review of Herring for Breakfast and other Israeli jokes. My wife and I prepared for this trip more than ever. Visiting Israel is a very long-standing dream of both. Two months of calculations, estimates and catching cheap air tickets. And all in vain... A couple of weeks before the planned departure, the tour operator ICS put out an offer that could not be refused: sightseeing tour in Israel with accommodation in Netanya for 50 thousand rubles for two. Individual tour it turned out to be more expensive (and this is when flying with a budget Israeli EL AL). And here regular flight Transaero. Yes, and with excursions... December 2, 2014
  • Review to Park Utopia It is in vain that they say that Utopia is a place that does not exist. It is! :) And located in Israel in Kibbutz Bahan, near Netanya. The orchid park is located in an excavated gorge, the entrance to which is made like a cave, which is built from selected rocks, territory - about 3 hectares. It feels as if we were transported from the sultry, sun-drenched Israel to the gloomy, wet greenery of the impenetrable forests of the Amazon. Everything is different here - light, smells, temperature... This is the World of Orchids. And they are everywhere. Beauty... November 30, 2014
  • Review to Israel in spring The trip is organized independently. Cheap air tickets Moscow - Kyiv - Tel Aviv were purchased approximately 3 weeks before departure, for three adults approx. 30,000 rub. However, we won’t fly like this anymore - it’s very difficult to sit at the Kiev airport for several hours. In addition, the arrival and departure times were inconvenient (I had to stay awake for two nights). Next - a taxi from Tel Aviv to Netanya 250 shekels (approx. 2000 rubles). We stayed with friends (for free). On the first day - walks around Netanya and... the sea! Wonderful Mediterranean Sea... May 2, 2011

Upon arrival they held me for 1.5 hours. But during the departure they did not inspect us at all. Others had every item checked. It's hard, but there's nothing scary. Just be prepared for it and stay calm.
2. If you have chosen a fully sightseeing tour to Israel, then the best period is February. In February, there is a decline in tourists and you will be able to explore every shrine that you simply cannot approach at other times.
3. If the air temperature in Israel is 10-15 degrees, then it is cold. Having read the forecast on the website, I thought that I would wear a T-shirt with a light windbreaker. It's actually a very cold wind. The guide explained that you need to subtract 5 degrees from the temperature on the site and then you will understand what the weather will feel like. But it’s not too hot for excursions. For me this is a huge plus.
3. Sunglasses are a must. Although it's cold, the sun can be so bright it's hard to watch
4. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes without heels. So that you can easily walk 5-10 km a day
HOTEL
All rooms have a view of the beautiful sea, which is very close. There are many Russian speaking employees. They will explain everything and help. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Refrigerator, TV with 3 Russian channels. Very comfortable bed - mattress, pillow, blanket. The blanket seems thin, but very warm. Constantly hot tea and coffee in the lobby near the restaurant. There is Wi-Fi at a fairly good speed in the lobby and in the hall near the restaurant. A hairdryer is provided at the reception without any problems. The breakfasts are very tasty. I'm a meat eater, but there was such a varied buffet that I didn't feel the lack of meat at all. If you leave for an excursion at 6:10, arrange in advance to have something to eat at 6:00. A small drawback of the hotel is the shabby corridors. But this is such nonsense compared to the rest. In addition, you will appear at the hotel at 18:00-20:00 and will not care about anything except hot tea :-)
FOOD
The hotel is magnificent. There are many restaurants and fast food outlets in the city. Portions in restaurants are such that you can feed 3 people. Everything is very tasty. Cost: 18/20/25/30 dollars (this worked for me). If you order meat/fish, do not ask for another side dish or salad. This will all be served in addition to the main course. I was hoping to eat shawarma at will. But I really didn’t like it - the pita bread is thick, the meat is tough and tasteless, the salad and sauces are small and tasteless, it costs 13 dollars. I really liked the falafel (the taste is similar to our fried potatoes) and the hummus (a type of chickpea spread with spices). If you haven’t finished eating, calmly ask them to pack it with you at restaurants. Everyone does it. You can easily go to restaurants in jeans or even a tracksuit. Everything is very democratic. People live for their own pleasure. Of course, there are also chic restaurants, but that’s not in my review. Amazing pomegranate wine. When you go on an excursion to Jaffa, be sure to purchase it. Cost from 28 to 34 dollars, depending on volume.
The hotel will recommend the London restaurant. I do not advise. The food is certainly delicious, but I really didn’t like the careless service. There are a lot of free waiters, but they won’t even come to take your order or you won’t get another service. There is a restaurant nearby called Dary Seafood. The waiters simply fly and warn you of every desire with a smile.
EXCURSIONS
The Jewish guides are great. The stories are very interesting, often with humor.
Jerusalem, the city of 3 religions - amazing. The main thing was that we managed to get to all the holy places that were on the program. Naturally, we didn’t have time to see much. I will definitely come again. In the Church of the Holy Sepulcher there is one of greatest shrines- Stone of Confirmation. It flows myrrh. You can dedicate gifts, icons, crosses, handkerchiefs, etc. on it. If you need a lot of gifts (for relatives, employees), buy handkerchiefs (this must be done in your country, they are not sold in Israel) or key rings. Place each item on the stone and it will become saturated with the holy myrrh - the best gift from a holy place. Don’t forget to also collect tiny notes from loved ones and place them at the Western Wall.
Galilee, Nazareth - also very interesting. In the Temple of the Multiplication of the Bread of the Lord there are tame carps in the pond. On the Jordan River there are also almost tame catfish. Take some bread to feed :-)
Diamond Exchange, Jaffa. The stock exchange is not interesting (unless of course you want to buy something) An ordinary jewelry store. Jaffa is cool, but not as exciting as in other places
The rest of the excursions were in Jordan. You can purchase them in Israel itself. But only Petra was impressed.
Jarash is an ancient ruined city. Interesting. Sunglasses are especially needed here.
Petra is the most magnificent excursion after Jerusalem. This is the capital of Nabatea. Buildings carved from solid mountains. Walk there through a beautiful gorge.
Amman, Madaba, Mount Moses - nothing like that.
SHOPPING
Clothes are more expensive than ours. Strawberries 2, 8-3 dollars/kg. The cosmetics are very good and expensive. I brought all sorts of holy souvenirs and pomegranate wine as gifts.
CONCLUSION
Overall an amazing country. In a short period of time, we have achieved incredible success. Agriculture in the desert on the highest level. I WILL DEFINITELY COME AGAIN
