The rooms are not 35 meters long, as stated, but 25 meters long at most. But overall they are comfortable, there is a minimum set of dishes, a kitchenette with a sink, and an electric kettle. Don't take food, this hotel doesn't have it anyway. There are many cafes nearby, breakfast 6-8 euros per person. In fact, this is not a hotel, but a house with rooms. There is no reception as such, all issues are resolved through the guide. The sea is a 1-minute walk (visible from the window), there is a supermarket nearby. For the evening program it is better to go to neighboring Paralia - 2.5 km, where life is in full swing. There is also a Lidl in Paralia. The location of the hotel relative to the geography of Greece is very good, since within a radius of 2-3 hours by car all the main attractions of the mainland: Edessa, Meteora, Thessaloniki, Mount Olympus, you can even go to Halkidiki, also within reach of the border with Albania, Bulgaria, Macedonia. It’s a bit far from Athens (450 km). The beach is huge ( coastline 60 kilometers, or even more), clean, clean water. The sand is soft and clean. There is a stove on the balcony, you can cook, there are dishes. Wi-Fi is available. Air conditioning is paid - 5 euros per day.

Instead of a four-bed room, we were put in a 3-bed room; it was in vain to pay extra for a 4-bed room. We stayed for a week, there was no cleaning or change of linen. They also took out the trash themselves. The room has a kitchenette: electric stove, 1 saucepan, kettle, refrigerator, a minimum of dishes and cutlery. There is a laundry service, it costs 5 euros. The beach is very close. Opposite the hotel there are children's attractions. There is a bakery on the 1st floor of the same building. When checking out, they charged another fee of 50 cents per day per room.

The apartments are located two steps from the sea. The room is on the second floor, the view is good. But there is no service at all. For almost 5 days the room was not cleaned even once... The guide immediately said that if you need anything, contact the hostess. But I don’t understand why I have to ask every time to clean up and change something. In addition, it is difficult to find a hostess. I received the hairdryer only on the 3rd day. Before this, it was impossible to catch her. I came to rest, I only came to the room in the evening, I had no desire or time to wait for her. As luck would have it, the days turned out to be cold, the season is just beginning. The village is empty. Maybe in a month everything will be better, but now I don’t recommend going there.

Sandy beach a few steps from the apartments. The sea is clean, the entrance is gentle. Sunbeds for a purchased drink (3.5 euros).

Within walking distance are shops, supermarkets, cafes, taverns, souvenir and fruit shops and much more. etc.

The apartments are very decent, good furniture, freshly renovated. We had a studio for three: 1 double bed + 1 single bed for a child, bedside tables... , wardrobe, dressing table with mirror and kitchenette (electric stove, kettle, mini-fridge, necessary utensils). The room is spacious, with a balcony overlooking the sea. Free internet, normal signal, TV, hair dryer. Air conditioning is paid, but in September there was no need to use it. Rooms are cleaned and towels are changed once a week.

For families with children great option, inexpensive, you can cook something yourself, the sea is nearby, there is somewhere to go out and take a walk. We also rented a car and went to Olympus and Thessaloniki. We had a good rest, the weather didn’t disappoint either, it was warm, but not too hot at that time.

Apartments Marianna are located in the center of the Olympic Beach village on the first line, 2-3 minutes from the sea, the coast is sandy, the sea is shallow at first, then gradually becomes deeper. Sun beds with umbrellas are available for an additional fee, which ranges from 2.5 to 3.5 euros, this price includes a drink (coffee, juice, beer, etc.). Near the apartments there is a small supermarket, all... Possible shops, the confectionery Fos, where they prepare the signature melfeuille (Napoleon), the Periyali restaurant, where the food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. Nearby there is a small amusement park for small children. Fruits and vegetables are sold literally at every turn.
Now a little about the apartments. The apartment is updated, with a kitchen, there is everything you need for cooking, linen and towels are changed every 5 days, but if necessary they are changed more often, cleaning is carried out independently, for this everything you need is on each floor. Air conditioning is available at an additional cost of 5 euros per day. We liked the apartments, we had a very good rest. I recommend.

Good afternoon! We stayed with Marianna as a family with two children and stayed for 21 nights. The apartment had three beds (1 large bed and 1 small bed; my youngest and I slept on a barrel). The room itself is large, there is a large closet, there is a large kitchen cabinet. In the kitchen there is a kettle (with terrible scale), a Turk, 6 plates, 3 forks, 3 spoons, on the balcony there is an electric stove with a saucepan. Bath-shower, toilet, washbasin.About... and the taps (both in the kitchen and in the bathroom were leaking very badly). But she does the repairs, the walls are not shabby, not dirty. There was a feeling of cleanliness. There were no toiletries. There was no cleaning in 22 days!!! Towels were changed when I herself! I asked the hostess and changed the bed herself. In 22 days, towels were changed 3 times, the bed was changed 1 time!!! In the corridor there is a broom, a dustpan, a mop - we cleaned it ourselves. But! - it’s normal there, there are almost no hotels there, almost all are apartments. I’ll also write a review about Olympic Beach. no food at all, we cooked it ourselves, it cost 350 euros. A big plus for Marianna is that the sea is very close!!! 2 minutes walk. The hostess always smiles, says hello and always has coffee and a cigarette (Greeks smoke a lot and everywhere). In the evening and in the morning there was a girl from Mouzenides (very convenient to resolve issues). There are 2 children's rooms nearby playgrounds, many shops, many cafes. An uncle-farmer came with very tasty vegetables and fruits. We went for a walk to Paralia Katerini. We liked everything except the lack of cleaning.

The guide Mouzenidis met us at the airport and showed us the bus, but did not accompany us to the hotel, although the driver understands a little Russian. I was met at the hotel by the owner Marianna, who doesn’t speak Russian, so I had to remember my English vocabulary. The room is spacious with a long narrow balcony. There were a lot of mosquito bite marks in the room. With the windows open... The air conditioner doesn't work, you pay 5 euros per day Marianna gives us the remote control, our remote control didn't work, we had to go to the hostess twice, it turned out the batteries were dead, the hostess replaced it, but with obvious displeasure. We took breakfast and dinner. Marianne said to eat at another hotel 100 meters away, but showed the restaurant only after the guide Nicole Mouzenidis asked her. The food is not bad; The guys especially tried their best at dinner, for which many thanks to them, especially to the waiter Andrey. For lunch we ate in taverns, gyros 2.50 euros, Moussaka 8 euros, drinks separately. During the 7 days we stayed at the hotel, there was no cleaning or change of towels and bed linen even once! Wi-Fi is excellent right in the room, free. The excursion was taken from a tour operator along the route Vergina-Olympus-Dion. Overall I liked the excursion, the guide Petros, but the organization let us down: we forgot two participants, stood for 20 minutes, until we caught up and finally, when we got out after visiting Dion, there was no bus at all, we had to wait 15 minutes. In conclusion, if you want more comfort, choose something more expensive. The hotel is suitable for just washing and spending the night. The hostess is reminiscent of some housewives in Crimea: of course, tourists are needed, they bring money, but strangers are annoying and distract from coffee and a cigarette.

My friend and I thought for a long time about where to go to the islands or the mainland. As a result, we chose northern Greece. Chose inexpensive hotel on the first line. The minibus drove directly to the hotel... . We were shot hotel guide, helped us settle in, gave us a lot useful information. Our room was on the second floor, overlooking the main road and the sea. The room is spacious, clean, newly renovated. Kitchenette with all necessary utensils (except frying pans), refrigerator, satellite TV with Russian channels, air conditioning (extra charge). There are no toiletries. On the balcony there is a table with chairs and a clothes dryer. Room cleaning and linen change on the fifth day. You can ask the hostess for an iron and hairdryer. The hostess Marianna is a very pleasant woman who responded to all our requests and wishes. wifi worked well. The beach is two steps away. Wide strip of sand, good entry into the sea, fine sand. If you want a sun lounger and an umbrella, order a drink and you can lie there all day (about 6 euros for two). There are many taverns, cafes and shops around. During the day there are plenty of places for a snack, chef's salad (4.5 euros), gyros (2.5 euros). In the evening we had dinner at the Nisaki and Periyali taverns. It cost us about 30 euros for two, including wine. There is a menu in Russian, fast and high-quality service. After a hearty dinner, you can walk to the neighboring village of Paralia 2 km, 25 minutes at a leisurely pace. We went to Thessaloniki by city bus for 13 euros each way. The bus goes to the final KTEL bus station, there you change to bus 31 and go to the city center, get off at Aristotle Square. There are many cafes, restaurants, shops and tourists here. If you go down the square you will come out onto the embankment; not far from the embankment rises the White Tower (the main attraction of the city). The main temple in Thessaloniki is the Church of St. Dmitry of Thessalonica, where his relics are kept. We recommend having dinner at a restaurant located in TV tower OTE, at an altitude of 76 m, its floor rotates, you can see the entire panorama of Thessaloniki. We are very pleased, we have only positive emotions about our vacation.

Good afternoon I would like to share my impressions of a vacation in Northern Greece, in the Pieria region, namely, I vacationed in the Olimpic beach Village, next to Paralia Katerini. The village is located near Northern capital Thessaloniki city (80km – 90km, hour drive).
I won’t be verbose, I’ll highlight the main points that I really liked: the location of my hotel to... sights: Olympus, Dion, Vergina, meteors, Athens (relatively close 5 hours drive), springs - Aridea, fortress, Platamonas, as I noted before, the city of Thessaloniki... I visited all the excursions with a tour operator and was delighted with the guides! With the exception of one - in Thessaloniki, which I purchased from street travel agencies, fell for cheap prices, and, as you know, “cheap cheese is only in a mousetrap.” We barely managed to get the group together for the return trip. Without describing a bunch of negative aspects.
Next.. Regarding my stay: I rested in the Marianna apartments. This was the first time I had such an economical and quality holiday in Europe! Excellent new apartments, clean, cozy, what more does a traveler need. The location is excellent, the sea is a stone's throw away, cafes, bars, taverns, shops... on foot, 20 minutes away, in the village of Paralia Katerini there are even more establishments of this kind. The city of Katerini is 20 minutes away by bus, which runs every 15 minutes - a modern Greek town where you can do some shopping and also take pictures in beautiful park, the hotel guide will tell you in more detail how to get there..
I myself don’t like reading long reviews, but I can’t shorten them. In general, you won’t be bored! I recommend to everyone!

We chose the hotel because of its location to the sea; from the photographs it seemed large.
We arrived and looked - everything was small, the bed was small, the glass on the balcony was like in the USSR, one was cracked. On the second day, dirt flies from the street, it’s difficult to sleep, a shepherd dog guards the window all night, mosquitoes fly and people talk... After three it’s quiet, people all go to their hotels, there are no mosquitoes, you see... but they don’t have hotels, they fly until the morning)))) Air conditioning 5 euros. per day!
We cleaned the room ourselves. In ten days we were washed once.
There is no way to spend time in the room, it’s better to be at the sea, but there are a lot of people there, so we had to walk far along the beach..... There are few Russians.
If you have the money, pay extra and choose better.

We rested here with a friend at the beginning of June. We chose an apartment so we could cook our own food. Convenient location, and the beach is nearby. There are many taverns and restaurants with Greek cuisine near the hotel. Everything is insanely delicious. Fresh fish and seafood. We recommend trying pastitsio and moussaka - are these Greek dishes? After dinner, sweets and fruits are served. This was very surprising... oh... but it’s so nice, I tell you. The waiter comes over and asks if you want ice cream or something.
Not far from the hotel there is a Mytikas mini-market where you can buy everything you need.

Our room was on the second floor overlooking the main road and the sea. The room is cozy with a TV and two Russian channels. Kitchenette with everything you need. The balcony had chairs, a table, a clothes dryer and an electric stove. Linen was changed on the fifth day. Free wi-fi.

We went to Kastoria to buy a fur coat. Marvelous beautiful city on the shore of the lake. It is called the birthplace of fur. We visited several factories and shops. The choice is huge - your eyes run wide. The fur coats there are not the cheapest, but are they worth it? I bought my fur coat at the Papandopoulos factory.

We were very pleased and this fur coat will remind me of sunny Greece on cold days.
