Entertainment for children in Phuket. Holidays in Phuket with children - hotels, beaches, entertainment Which Phuket beaches are best for kids

Why is Phuket island one of the best in Thailand for families with children? Beautiful beaches, cool hotels, pleasant climate - and these are not all the advantages. We talk about the best beaches and hotels, as well as the nuances of relaxing with a small child. Reviews and advice from tourists in 2019.

Picturesque Phuket is very popular with families with children. According to our observations, over the past few years the number of romantic couples has decreased, while the number of vacationers with children has increased. Maybe these same couples have already had babies? Some beaches are literally occupied by family tourists. Why is the island attractive for vacationers with children? Let's get a look.

Features of holidays in Phuket with children

Why is Phuket preferred by tourists with children? There are several reasons for this:

  1. Transport accessibility. There are direct flights to Russia, which is very convenient considering the long flight. You can get from the airport to the holiday destination by taxi or minibus; the journey will take from 10 minutes to an hour, depending on the resort. Nai Harn Beach is the furthest - it takes more than an hour to drive.
  1. Climate and sandy beaches. Phuket has a wonderful climate that promotes sound sleep and healthy children, and there are a large number of beaches with shallow depths and gentle slopes. The beaches of Karon, Kata, Nai Yang, Mai Kao - all of them are suitable for families with children of different ages.
  1. Fresh fruit and cheap food. Thai cuisine, however, is specific - very spicy, but children happily eat rice, fish and other seafood, as well as fruits.
  1. Thai sociability. Even if your English skills are at the high school level, there is no need to worry. Thais are very sociable and friendly people. And only the lazy ones didn’t write about their touching attitude towards children. You won't get so many attentions anywhere else.
  1. Well developed infrastructure. Phuket has hotels, pharmacies, cafes and shops. If you wish, you can rent a house with a swimming pool. Hotels on Kamala and Bang Tao beaches are suitable for families with small children; for older children, the beaches of Karon and Kata are more interesting. It is undesirable to live in the Patong area - this is the main party resort of Phuket, where all entertainment venues operate non-stop.
  1. Attractions and entertainment. In Phuket, holidays with children are rich and varied: there is an amusement park where you can go with the whole family, an aquarium, a zoo, and a water park. Water sports and sea excursions are preferred by older children, and with young children you can watch animal shows or visit the Butterfly Garden. Tourists go on excursions or rent a bike. We have seen more than once how tourists put a child in front and fearlessly ride their bikes along the serpentines of the island.

When is the best time to go?

The island can be visited all year round; fortunately, Russians do not need visas to travel. However, in Phuket the best time for a beach holiday with children is high season from December to April, when it is warm and dry. From May to November it rains and high waves rise on the sea.

The best beaches in Phuket for families with children

Patong- the most popular beach on the island. It is wide, the water is calm, and the entrance to the sea is gentle. There are many vacationers with children here. Near the beach there are shops, a large shopping center "Jangceylon" and entertainment venues. The resort is always noisy and crowded. For some reason, many tourists consider Patong to be the dirtiest place on the island, so families with children usually choose calmer beaches nearby - Karon and Kata.

Beach Karon best suited for families with children in Phuket. It is large, level, and the entrance to the sea is gentle. There are children's playgrounds along the beach. The children's entertainment park "Dino Park" is located nearby, and it is close to Patong. On the beach Kata prices are higher than on Karon. Slightly fewer tourists on the beach Kamala. Its main attraction is the theme park and entertainment shows.

Nai Harn- a calm and quiet beach in Phuket, where families with children love to relax. Shops and cafes are located a 5-10 minute walk from the beach, and the center of Phuket can be reached by regular bus.

Beach Bang Tao- one of the largest on the island. Near the beach Mai Khao There is a water park with a children's playground and attractions, but you will have to get to the nearest large store by taxi or bus.

A selection of the best hotels in Phuket:

  1. You should not go on vacation with children during the low season. At this time, the sea will be constantly stormy, and children will not be able to swim. Also avoid traveling in May - there are no heavy tropical rains yet, but it is already very hot and humid.
  1. When choosing a place to relax, you should think not only about personal comfort, but also about the accessibility of shops, pharmacies, and clinics. Don't forget on your trip. Medicine in Thailand is paid, you need to take out insurance before traveling. Be sure to use sunscreen. Give your child plenty to drink. Don’t go heavy on them immediately upon arrival - it’s better to introduce them into your diet gradually.

Phuket is considered to be a family resort, usually comparing it with riotous Pattaya. But before you come here with your children, weigh the pros and cons. The island is quite large; between the attractions that interest a child and the hotel there may be tens of kilometers of hot roads and frequent traffic jams. But if you have no doubt about the patience and curiosity of your baby, then welcome - Thais love children!

Where to stay

In principle, any area of Phuket is good if you have the opportunity to rent a villa in a gated community with a private pool, garden and lawn, and get to your favorite beaches by a comfortable car.

If you are going to stay in a hotel or rent a guest house in the private sector, then you should choose an area with a developed tourist infrastructure like Karon with its wide promenade and calm traffic. For example, the Kuku district in the north of Phuket Town is beautiful for its authenticity, cafes without menus in Russian, the absence of tourists and low prices for food and housing. However, there are absolutely no normal sidewalks here, their semblances are crowded with cars, shopping stalls or mopeds, sometimes it is difficult for even an adult to walk here, and there is absolutely nothing to do with a stroller. Patong, which is too touristy, is also not the best place to relax with a child - your regular neighbors at the hotel, cafe, pool and beach will probably be drinkers and revelers from all over the world.

Scary stories about centipedes wandering into the room and snakes on the porch are true for the private sector; in a normal hotel such incidents are rare. A snake, of course, can crawl into a closed village, but here specially trained people will rush in at the first call, and the area will most likely be periodically treated for mosquitoes and other unpleasant biting things.

Where to swim

If we talk about beaches, then one of the best options would be Nai Harn - a bay with fine clean sand, warm water, all the necessary infrastructure, and most importantly - a long and gentle descent into the sea. To enter chest-deep water, an adult will have to stomp from the shore for several minutes. This means that no matter how playful your offspring is, he will not have time to escape to dangerous depths; you will catch up.

Things to do

There are no world-famous amusement parks in Phuket, but you can still find something to do for your child. Almost on the very edge of Cape Panwa is the Phuket Aquarium.

A little to the south, a five-minute walk from the aquarium, there is a pier where warships often dock. The boys will love it!

The park occupies about 24 hectares; to see as much as possible, come when it opens.

Approximately in the center of the west coast, on Kamala Beach, guests will find Phuket's main show - the Phuket FantaSea theme park. There are no breathtaking attractions here; the purpose of the park is to introduce guests to the history of the island, the traditions and culture of its people. An elephant show theater, a colorful national performance, several restaurants, a village of shops, a children's play area "Similan" - this is not a complete list of entertainment in Phuket FantaSea.

Tickets to the FantaSea park are sold not only on site, but also from numerous intermediaries and travel agencies. Sometimes you can get a discount, but most often intermediaries will also provide you with a round-trip transfer for the same price.

Phuket water park Splash Jungle does not pretend to be iconic or grandiose, but you can have a great time there with the whole family. It is located just north of the airport, you will have to get there by taxi, although in the mornings the Splash Jungle branded shuttle runs from the main beaches, however, for each passenger, except for very small children, they will charge an additional fee of 400 THB. Tickets can be purchased on site, booked online or purchased from resellers. In the latter case, there is a chance of a free transfer.

Go to the water park on weekdays, when there will be a minimum of local kids there. Attractions and water slides without queues - what could be better!

Sea excursions: yes or no?

If you leave your child in Phuket with no one, then it is better to refrain from sea excursions to the islands with long passages on high-speed boats. One and a half to two hours of jumping on the waves will exhaust even an adult; for a child such a journey can be torture.

Sea excursions: yes or no?

What picture appears to you if you are going on vacation with children? Warm, gentle sea, a long strip of beach, you bask in the shade of palm trees, and your children build a sand castle. The Thai island of Phuket is simply created for a family holiday: hotels with children's entertainment, attractions for kids and excursions for teenagers. Today I’ll tell you how to spend time and what to visit in Phuket with children.

Beaches and children's hotels in Phuket

An important role in vacationing with a child is played by the choice of a beach and a hotel with a children's club or playground. It is worth paying attention to, which kids will like because of the gentle entrance. Suitable for a holiday with teenagers who love the deep sea and water sports. On the beaches of Nai Harn you can sunbathe and swim with the whole family, and in the evening take a walk to the nearest restaurants. Lovers of a relaxing holiday should pay attention to Surin and Nai Thon, there are not many people there, but there is enough infrastructure. Read my selection of children's hotels in Phuket.

When coming to Phuket with children, it is worth visiting local parks and excursions. And now questions arise for you: what does your child like, what is he interested in, what will be interesting to him? Maybe your blond daughter dreams of horse riding, and your restless son likes surfing and water skiing? As a teenager, it was difficult to lure me into vacationing by the beach and sea; trips to ancient cities with castles, active sports, amusement parks with roller coasters and diving courses were used. Below I provide a list of attractions and excursions that, in my opinion, are worth considering for a holiday with children.

Fantasea park and show

The Fantasea amusement park and show will appeal to children from 3-4 years old. On the territory of the village itself there are many shops with souvenirs, attractions in which, by showing dexterity and accuracy, you can win toys, in the tiger kingdom you will see white tigers, in the pond - giant catfish and colorful carp, and between dinner and the show, children can feed elephants or ride them.

Siam Niramit Park and Show

Another cultural village, where houses of different Thai styles are located, where traditional crafts are presented, real goats and buffalos are kept in pens, and the villagers prefer to have fun at the floating market with dancing and music. You and your children will be interested in taking pictures with painted umbrellas, in Thai costumes, in Phi Ta Khon masks, seeing how shadow theater figures are made, how batik is painted and much more.

Golf at Dino Park

There is a restaurant for the whole family on Kata Beach. At Dino Park you can not only have lunch or dinner, but also play mini golf. Unlike regular courses for adults, the design is themed after Jurassic Park and the Flintstones cartoon. 18 holes is neither too much nor too little. And the most exciting thing is that there are dinosaurs all around. After a fun game, have a snack and relax near the waterfall at the Dino Park restaurant.

Phuket Adventure Mini Golf

If you live in a hotel on the northwestern beaches, then going to play golf at Kata Beach will be a bit far. An excellent solution is to visit Phuket Adventure Mini Golf on Bangtao Beach, near the Arinara Bangtao Beach Resort. The 18-hole course is suitable for both children and adult beginners. After the game, stay in the restaurant, there are traditional Thai dishes and a children's menu: pasta, pizza, burgers.

Sea Shell Museum

Many children love collecting shells. You can view a rich collection of beautiful and unique shells at the Sea Shell Museum. There are both exhibits from Thailand and rare shells from Europe and New Caledonia. Some of them are more than a hundred million years old.

Zoo in Phuket

Aquarium in Phuket

The Phuket Aquarium is located at the Marine Life Biological Research Center at Cape Panwa. Your children will be delighted to see colorful reef fish, sharks, cuttlefish, seahorses, eels, crabs and other inhabitants of the underwater world, and a stingray swimming in an underwater tunnel directly overhead will make you gasp with delight. Most recently, the aquarium opened a contact pool where anyone can touch starfish, sea cucumbers and other bottom-dwelling creatures.

Bird Park

Great fun for the whole family is the bird park. Firstly, there is a show with feathered artists three times a day, where your children can take part. Secondly, in the park you can see colorful parrots, imposing peacocks, a thoughtful hornbill and even cheerful ostriches. Thirdly, you can take a photo with some of the birds, and feed some of them directly from your hands.

Botanical Garden

The chic botanical garden in Phuket has plenty for kids to do and something for older children to see. Lots of plants, flowers, gardens in different styles, a fish pond, a waterfall and hundreds of funny statues. Here you can even visit a small butterfly park and take pictures with colorful parrots.

Tigers at Tiger Kingdom

You and your children can meet little cubs and big tigers in the Tiger Kingdom in Phuket. Children up to 140 centimeters tall are allowed only to see tiger cubs, while older and taller children are allowed to take pictures with adult tigers.

Dolphinarium in Phuket

Charming dolphins and fur seals will greet you at the show at the Phuket Dolphinarium. Your children and you will be delighted with the tricks of the sea performers. After the show you can take photos and swim with dolphins.

Splash Jungle Water Park

Entertainment at the water park located on Mai Khao Beach will undoubtedly bring joy to both you and your children. In addition to slides for adults, there is a real water paradise for kids with a large overturning barrel, fountains and slides. You will also enjoy a lazy river, a real sauna in the form of a yurt, a wave pool and much more.

Upside Down House Baan Teelanka

This is real fun entertainment for the whole family. An ordinary house with a living room, a nursery, a kitchen, but everything in it is upside down, even fish swim in an upside-down aquarium. Next to the house there is a labyrinth garden where your children can run around to their heart's content in search of a way out.

Lemonade Club

The main task of the family club is to combine recreation for adults with active and educational entertainment for children. While your child is frolicking in the pool with slides or jumping on the trampoline, you can sunbathe on a sun lounger, visit the sauna, spa treatments, do Pilates or dance. The club organizes fun birthday parties for children of any age. On weekends there are animation programs and game quests that captivate the children for a long time.

Rawai Park

An island of real children's entertainment, Rawai Park is located in the very south of Phuket, near the Rawai beach promenade. For the little ones there is a playroom with toys, a labyrinth, slides, carousels, a trampoline, and a climbing corner. Older children will be able to play mini-football, basketball, climb a climbing tower and jump on trampolines. In addition, for children from 2 to 14 years old there is a water park with slides and fountains. While your child is frolicking in the park, you can sunbathe on sun loungers in the green area or have a snack in the cafe.

Sheep farm

At Dairy Hut Sheep Farm, your kids can hand-feed the animals, ride a horse, and pet llamas. This farm is located not in Phuket, but in the province of Phang Nga, very close to the island.

Surfing Surf House

On Kata Beach, not far from the Kata Beach Resort, there is an artificial surfing area where you can ride the waves every day, regardless of the weather. Those who decide to get on the board for the first time will be helped by an instructor, while professionals will feel free. If you don’t want to ride, then there is a restaurant at your service that serves Thai and European cuisine. Another surf spot has opened on the first line of Patong, opposite the immigration office. Book rides with discounts when purchasing online.

Big Buddha Temple

One of the most famous temples in Phuket is located high on a hill. The 45 meter tall Big Buddha can be seen from many of the island's southern beaches. In addition to the impressive temple, the hill offers an amazing panorama of the Andaman Sea and the south of Phuket.

3D museum

There is an unusual museum in Phuket Town. It features humorous copies of paintings by famous artists, which visitors become a part of. Be sure to take a camera with you, otherwise the point of visiting the museum is lost.

Orchid farm in Phuket

Orchids are very popular in Thailand. Their flowers are used in hotels, restaurants and spas for decoration. You can see how exotic beauties are grown at the orchid farm. Here you can also purchase orchids for export from Thailand and obtain all certificates.

Observation platforms

Mining Museum

Shooting range in Phuket

For those who like to shoot, several shooting ranges are open on Phuket Island: on Patong in the Jung Ceylon shopping center, on the road from Chalong ring to Kata Beach, on the road from Patong Beach to Kathu area, in Thalang area. You can shoot from various types of weapons, from a bow and crossbow to a 45-caliber Colt, shotguns and rifles.

Monkey Mountain

In Phuket Town, next to Mount Rang (Khao Rang), on the monkey hill, better known as Monkey Hill, you can not only admire the panorama of the island, but also chat with the tailed locals. Monkey Mountain is quite popular with Thais in the evenings, with dozens of athletes jogging to the top and back. Despite the abundance of people around, safety precautions should be observed: do not anger the monkeys, do not pet them and do not use flash.

Wakeboarding and water skiing

Learning to board or water ski is easy. Wake park instructors will help you with this. Currently, there are two parks on the island of Phuket: Anthem Wake Park in the Thalang area and Phuket Wake Park in the Kathu area.

Cashew Nut Factory

Phuket has its own cashew nut factory and their stores are located in Chalong and Thalang districts. It will be interesting for you and your children to see how these amazing nuts grow, the processing process and try cashews with all kinds of additives and cashew apple lemonade.

Horseback riding

Would you like to ride horses right on the beach? Such entertainment can be offered to you at the Laguna complex on Bangtao Beach. Besides their equestrian club, there are two more in Phuket: Crazy Horse on Nai Harn Beach and Phuket Riding Club on Rawai Beach.

Karting in Phuket

For those who want to feel like Michael Schumacher and get behind the wheel of a racing car, Phuket Island offers two race tracks. They are located opposite each other on the road from Patong Beach to the Kathu area. Riding is recommended for children from 8 years old, and there is a choice of single, double karts or a special model for children.

Zorbing

This unusual entertainment in the form of a huge ball rolling down a hill is suitable for you and your children from 6 years old. The site is located a two-minute drive from Patong Beach, on Kalim Beach. The idea of zorbing is that you are inside a ball rolling down a hill. If you have never participated in such an attraction, the instructors will tell you the safety rules. Bring swimsuits and a towel.

Flight of the gibbon

By analogy with the cable car in Pattaya, such attractions began to be called the common name “Flight of the Gibbon”, although in Phuket the names are completely different: Flying Hanuman, Flying Fox, Zipline Adventure, Jungle Xtrem Adventure. Parks differ in the length of the obstacle course, the presence of cable cars, the height and length of the cable cars, which are fixed directly between the trees, and the number of platforms. Great entertainment for adults and children over 4 years old. .

ATVs

To drive an ATV you do not need a license or other documents. Your child can drive an all-terrain vehicle from the age of 8; younger children can ride as passengers. A lot of laughter, excitement and adventure await you on trips through real jungles and mangroves. Don't wear white clothes!

Elephant ride

You can ride elephants and feed them bananas on mainland excursions. There are also elephant camps on the island of Phuket, where it is better to go on your own. Check with the front desk for information about your nearest campsite. . The elephant park is especially popular, where you can see the good-natured giants in their natural habitat. They don't ride them there, but you can swim or wash an elephant. Book your excursion with a discount online.

Transvestite show

It seems to me that nowadays it is difficult to surprise anyone with transvestites. Especially in Thailand. There are several transvestite shows in Phuket, the most colorful and spectacular are Simon Cabaret on Patong Beach and Aphrodite in Phuket Town.

Bowling

There are several bowling clubs on the island of Phuket. I can recommend three of them: Jung Ceylon Shopping Center on Patong Beach, Big C Shopping Center in Phuket Town and Graceland Hotel.

Phuket waterfalls

If you want to see impressive multi-tiered waterfalls, then it is better to go to the neighboring province of Phang Nga. But even Phuket has its own small waterfalls: Kathu Waterfall in the Kathu area, Tonsai Waterfall in the Thalang area and Bang Pae Waterfall in the northeast of the island.

Racha Island

If you decide to go on a sea excursion with small children, pay attention to the island of Racha. It is located 15 minutes from Phuket, which is not so tiring. Your little one will be delighted with the colorful fish and snow-white sand, from which it is so pleasant to build castles.

Sea canoes in Phang Nga Bay

An excursion to Phang Nga Bay is suitable for families with children over 3 years old. A large ship will take you to islands and rocks, where you will board inflatable canoes. Caring rowers will show you all the beauty of the bay, its caves and lagoons. Here you can see wild monkeys eating crabs, mangroves growing right in the salt water, and funny mudskippers.

Chalong Temple

The famous Phuket temple is located in the Chalong area. Here you and your children can get acquainted with the traditions of Thai Buddhism, see golden statues and painted walls, and look at the territory from the observation deck of the pagoda.

Rafting

An active full-day excursion with rafting is suitable for children from 4 years old. Programs vary and may include a visit to a Thai temple, elephant riding, ATVs and a cable car.

Diving in Phuket

Snorkeling on the surface, looking at colorful fish and corals is one thing. But scuba diving is completely different. Completely different emotions and sensations. Adults and children over 8 years old can try their first dive.

Playgrounds in Phuket

Many shopping centers have special corners for children where you can leave them while you immerse yourself in the world of shopping. Play complexes for the little ones include slides, stairs and ball pits. You will find them in shopping centers: Big C and Tesco Lotus in Phuket Town, in Jungceylon on Patong Beach. For older children, entertainment is provided by slot machines, car racing simulators, quests and other computer games. In my mobile guide you will find more children's clubs and playgrounds. Download it from the links or for Android.

Baby food in Thailand

For many parents, the issue of child nutrition is important. I want to reassure you right away that there are places to feed your baby in Phuket. There are Russian restaurants on popular beaches, and many Thai establishments serve familiar European food. If your child has begun to learn complementary feeding, fruit and vegetable purees, as well as baby formula, can be bought in large shopping centers. Not all formulas and cereals are suitable for your children. For conservative eaters, I recommend taking everything you need with you. 7-11 supermarkets sell yoghurts and milk. Kefir and cottage cheese can be bought at the Villa Market shopping center in Chalong and Laguna.

Health

Have a nice holiday with children in Phuket!

The green island of Phuket, sailing like a ship in the Andaman Sea, known since ancient times to all Dutch, Portuguese, French sailors and merchants, today is again a place of attraction, only this time for tourists laden with children, bags and suitcases.

And this is understandable, because the island is incredibly popular for its wide, fabulous beaches filled with snow-white fine sand sparkling against the blue water. Moreover, the sand is melodious and crunchy, like a real snowball in the cold, only here it will never melt.

Famous and adored beach places are Kata and Karon. Children feel great here, building white castles out of sand.

Karon is more majestic and extended. If on Katya the sea shimmers from blue to turquoise, then on Karon it is a soft emerald color. Some more beach recommendations:

  • a little to the west of the youthful and crowded Patong Beach is Freedom Beach, this heavenly place will appeal to everyone - snow-white fine sand, 500 meters of secluded tropical paradise
  • Nai Harn Beach - if not live, then be sure to at least visit. One of the best beaches on the island - the surroundings are surrounded by greenery, there are many trees around, there is a temple and a pond nearby.

The desire for adventure, entertainment and new knowledge, which is typical for children of all ages, will be fulfilled if you visit.

When going to the island with your children, you need to remember in time that from May to October-November very high waves rise along the coast of the island, unusually beautiful, but not allowing children to swim. The dry and comfortable season for a holiday in Thailand is from October to the end of April, during which time there is no heavy rain. The climate in Phuket, just like in Pattaya, is comfortable and warm all year round, but always humid. Children, most often, tolerate the change of seasons easier than we adults. You should only be careful with the sun - it is very strong here, creams with SPF filters should always be on hand, the situation is similar with hats.

There are many pharmacies and clinics in Phuket, so if the children do not acclimatize immediately, you can always solve any problems.

A variety of cafes and restaurants will offer you a huge range of dishes from both European and even Russian cuisines, as well as directly Thai ones, adapted for holidaymakers with children (less spicy or not spicy at all). Some variety will be added to the daily menu by fruits and freshly squeezed juices, which are sold in a rich assortment all year round on every corner.

In terms of nutrition, you don’t even have to adapt - you can find small grocery stores everywhere.

And for large-scale gastronomic shopping, you should go to large shopping centers (Big C, Jung Ceylon, Central Festival). Here you can find baby food, baked goods, all dairy products, high-quality cooking, diapers and other necessary attributes for a holiday with children.

So, we present to your attention our rating of the best hotels in Phuket for families with children:

PGS Hotels Casa del Sol 4*

1 of 5

Flowers, murmuring water, quiet music. A calming, serene atmosphere, in the evenings there is no noise from wild parties. Before the trip, you have the opportunity to request a room with a special sliding partition, a crib and a mandatory potty, which is very convenient when you come with little ones. For the peace of mind of parents, a special net is attached to the balcony so that the child does not fall out between the bars. For little visitors everything is provided here: a swimming pool - a “paddling pool” with a wide water slide; a small playground where children play with sand and play on swings; special chairs for children in a hotel restaurant; exciting activities - modeling, drawing and animation in the morning near the pool; fish ponds; pool bar with wonderful freshly squeezed juices and fruit smoothies; daily cartoons in the cinema with free drinks and popcorn; the bright and elegant Pegy club with indoor play areas, where children, under supervision, will have an interesting time while parents relax, enjoying such rare precious hours alone; fun children's discos; excellent tennis tables and rackets for older children.
Catering is thought out to the smallest detail. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. There are porridges, milk soups, omelettes and scrambled eggs, potatoes in various forms, yoghurts, muesli, preserves, syrups, jams, muffins, all kinds of waffles such as Vienna, toast, pasta, sausages. Many feed three-year-old children an afternoon snack, lunch, and dinner right here in the hotel restaurant - it’s tasty and profitable. The soups are prepared differently every day. And the hot dishes also change - they offer chicken and pork, fish and squid. A large number of cold cuts, side dishes, there is always fruit (up to 8 types) and baked goods. Prices for lunch and dinner are quite affordable. The room has a kettle and microwave.
The hotel is well located. The beach is a seven-minute walk away, and very close to all the amenities for shopping and a pleasant pastime - shops, cafes, exchange offices, massage parlors, taxis. All hygiene products such as shampoos and creams can be bought very cheaply. Next door at 7eleven they sell delicious ice cream. If the tiniest tourists suddenly develop prickly heat, the local Systral cream and powder will help one, two, three. You can feed your kids Russian food at the Spice House, where our Russian Cheburashka stands at the entrance. At the Orchid cafe, the dishes are mild, inexpensive and tasty. Many guests literally fall in love with this garden hotel. Here, without worry, children are allowed to roam throughout the entire territory. There are attentive security guards at the entrance. Breakfast is Swedish, hearty: cereal, oatmeal, pancakes, eggs in various types, yoghurt, pastries, sliced ham and cheese. Many restaurants: they work both in Swedish and by order. Wonderful children's menu, very cheap, up to 3 years old - completely free. Stunning evenings are organized with different themes, wonderful cuisine and entertainment. A huge swimming pool with many different areas - lagoon, children's, sports, jacuzzi.
A club with a kindergarten, a small town and slides for children to play, where they are left for a long time.
The purest snow-white beach. The place is located in a lagoon surrounded by wonderful mountains, so the beach looks cozy and mysterious. There are cafes with menus for children, fruit bars, and a pavilion where children are given massages, which simply leave them in awe. An elephant named Valentin, who can play the harmonica and dance, often walks on the sand. You are allowed to feed and pet him.
The entertainment program for guests is rich and thoughtful for everyone. There is tennis, water aerobics, golf and basketball, bows for Robin Hoods, a climbing wall, football, and volleyball. Internet in the lobby, library, near the pools, and in cafes is free. The airport is approximately 50 km away.

Naithonburi Beach Resort 4*

Beautiful, calm and quiet in this lovely corner of the world for a holiday with children. A luxuriously decorated area surrounded by wonderful greenery, through which mysterious lanterns shine in the evenings. Nice and friendly staff.
The local restaurant has a decent European menu; you can easily feed the kids dishes without spices and exotic octopuses. For dinner - pumpkin puree soup, pasta, pizza, bolognese, meat of any kind, meatballs, ice cream. Water and bread are free. And the prices are quite reasonable. Breakfasts are excellent for all ages with dairy options, plenty of cereals and sweets, fruit, juices, beans, sausages and a variety of baked goods. The chic and most delicious mango shake is only here.
The sea is two minutes away at a sluggish pace. The beach, where towels are provided at the entrance, is well-groomed, clean, sandy. For complete enjoyment, there is also beer, a shower, and cool free water in the coolers.
The hotel has two swimming pools - for adults and children, surrounded by sea sand, fountains and various “beauties”. During the big wave season, you can spend time comfortably here too.
Tested by many cafes, where they offer delicious food for both parents and children - “Macarona” (you can overeat), “Vivan”, and also “Coconut” - it’s right on the beach. To eat in Russian and take a walk, you can and even need to visit the Spice House in the Festival (a wonderful place), where the food is like at your mother’s home.
If adults want to hang out and have fun, then all these delights are just around the corner.
The only downside of this wonderful place is the lack of baby food for babies under two years old. And all the purees must be packaged and taken with you. They sell diapers in a nearby store, but they are a little expensive.

Centara Grand West Sands Resort & Villas Phuket 5*

A wonderful hotel right in the Mai Khao Beach Nature Reserve. The airport is only 15 minutes away. The rooms have two TVs with a Russian channel, cartoons are a must. The area is spacious with a mini-club for children and teenagers, swimming pools, basketball and badminton courts and, most importantly, a water park.
The breakfasts are hearty and varied - omelettes, pancakes, the inevitable sausages, different types of potatoes (especially tasty in sauce). The soups are excellent - you can safely feed the kids. The children willingly eat rice with vegetables without hot spices, divinely delicious buns, cakes, cheesecakes, and raspberry jam. There is an abundance of fruits, even Dragon Eye is available. Without any problems, you can feed your child lunch in two options - from the menu (there is a special children's menu) or from the buffet, where he takes whatever he wants. The portions are huge. You can eat your fill of just one salad.
In the water park, children eagerly devour hot dogs called “little monkey” and milkshakes. There is a daily fun event at one of the restaurants, and parties with a buffet and music are held next to the pool. The incredibly beautiful “playing with fire” show brings great pleasure.
Near the hotel there is excellent food at the Red Mango cafe. If you come with little ones, they give you a table next to the TV and turn on “Masha and the Bear.” For the guys: French fries, dumplings, fried sausages, spaghetti, sliced pineapple and watermelon - “free of charge.” Parents really like the unusual Tom Yam Majito cocktail.
The free children's club has interesting slides, an outdoor sandbox, and inside, where it stays cool, there is a dry pool, paints, and toys. Animators work with children. But there is also a private room where kids lie on soft pillows and watch cartoons. Slot machines are on the second floor. Children's pools are right next to the club, with music and animators. The kids here have complete freedom.
The beach is long and clean. There are plenty of sunbeds by the sea, but many spread towels under the trees. There are often high waves in the morning. The bottom becomes uneven, so it is better not to leave the kids alone. By noon, the bottom levels out, the water becomes clear, in which the children watch fish and small turtles. There is an adult swimming pool right next to the beach, where they offer games, water aerobics, and scuba diving. The water in the large round pool is very warm.
The water park is free and in many ways replaces the sea. Comfortable slides for children of any age. A river gurgles around you, along which you float straight into the terrible mouth of the monster, which makes the children simply squeal with delight.
If the children get sunburned, the administrators are asked for Aloe Vera leaves. They are brought from the village. Its juice will relieve both fever and pain in half an hour.

Kata Sea Breeze 3*

There are always a lot of positive emotions about the hotel. From the airport the trip takes a little over an hour. You are greeted by a huge, well-kept oasis of serenity, blooms and fragrance. The clean, spacious rooms have a bath, slippers, colorful towels (blue ones are taken to the beach) and other amenities. If you need a crib for a baby, they provide it free of charge. You can always buy everything you need for kids at the 7 eleven store (50 m to the right). In the evenings, the bars have loud music, so if you come with little ones, you should take rooms in buildings away from them.
The breakfast is quite filling, it has everything, but there is no bacon (which is perhaps only a plus). There is also not much variety in baked goods - toast, butter, three types of jam. The food in the restaurant is good, you can have regular and very interesting themed dinners. Nutrition for children over two years old is not an issue. For very tiny children, it is better to take the purees with you. Tasty, high-quality milk is available in local shops. Outside the hotel, children can easily be fed their usual food in a cafe, where European dishes are everywhere. It is worth pampering them with a signature Thai dessert - chopped bananas, mangoes, pineapples in an “envelope” of thin dough, which is prepared right on the street, poured with chocolate or syrups. There is a market very close by where the prices are very, very reasonable.
There are as many as seven swimming pools, two of which are half a meter deep - for children with slides and a comfortable water temperature. Two of the pools have a Jacuzzi - you can take the kids and treat them with tickling bubbles. The warmest pool with a gentle slope is next to the bar, closer to the reception. Towels, umbrellas, sun loungers - free of charge. But after seven in the evening they turn on water purification with bleach, so you need to be careful with children with allergies.
There is a games room, a small outdoor cinema, and a large sandbox filled with toys.
Kata Beach is 5-7 minutes on foot. The sea is azure and clean; if you go at the right time, you don’t have to be afraid of stormy waves.

Holiday Inn Resort Phuket Mai Khao Beach 4*

1 of 7

A luxurious huge area with well-groomed lawns, fragrant flower beds, and singing birds. From the airport - less than half an hour. One pool for adults, one for little tourists with warm water and a smooth entry into the depths, which is convenient for the tiniest children. There is a children's club with a large comfortable playpen filled with colorful soft balls, many different construction sets, toys, and game consoles. Children willingly spend whole days here with friendly animator girls who teach them how to sculpt and draw with colored sand.
Another “golden” place is a real grove, where you can hide from the scorching sun, lie in a hammock, and play volleyball. There is a mini market with drinks and fruits nearby. And right behind the trees lies a wonderful beach, to which it is worth flying halfway across the earth. There are no sunbeds, but on such clean, fine sand they are not needed. If necessary, they provide towels and rugs – it’s convenient!
The sea is like warm fresh milk, only blue. The bottom is flat and sandy everywhere, but it is better to keep infants and older children away from the surf line - quite high waves often “come”. No jellyfish are visible in the water.
If you take a walk with older kids along the surf, you can reach the airfield in about 45 minutes. Don’t forget to take water and thoroughly smear the child with sun ointment. The boys are wildly delighted when heavy Boeings take off right above them.
Breakfast has a standard selection. But the dishes are very tasty, fresh and filling. They even cook porridge. Nice variety of desserts and pastries. Excellent dinners and lunches. They offer a children's menu (prices are very reasonable). The central restaurant serves a buffet four nights a week. Young guests eat free on these evenings, paying only for drinking.
Outside the territory you can walk to the Mama cafe (to the right of the hotel). Outwardly, it’s not presentable, but in fact, the food is excellent, the fruit cocktails are delicious. The soup called “Tom Yam” in “Mama” is eagerly consumed by everyone, young and old. The main thing is to say the “miraculous” words no spicy (no spices).
Relevant for adults - free WiFi is available absolutely everywhere. It even catches on the beach. A login and password are given immediately upon check-in.
There is a large children's area with fountains and a special covering, where there are balls and boards with drawings of Disney characters. Family rooms have two rooms, two bathrooms with children's soap supplies. Children's bedding, two balconies with sofas and tables, two TVs, DVD, game console.

Incredibly delicious cocktails that children drink by the gallon. There are many pools with different depths, some with slides. They are cleaned in the evenings, and cleaned again in the morning. Every day they provide “entertainment” for children and parents. In the children's mini-club there are classes in drawing, modeling, games of pirates with treasure hunts and prizes in the form of toys and fruits. The hotel has a shop with milk, water, bread, cigarettes and other small items. There is a Tesco hypermarket nearby, and a very picturesque market opens nearby, where you can find everything!
The rooms are great with huge towels and plenty of pillows. The rooms are cleaned and bed linen changed daily. The air conditioner blows, hot and cold water flows. All kinds of shampoos and pastes - without restrictions. Kettle, plates, mugs, tea, coffee, cream - yes.
From half past ten in the evening until the morning there is absolute silence. For adult guests, all the entertainment in Patong. The airport is 30 km away.

The road to the place of peace and romance takes about an hour. The hotel buildings go down to the sea in tiers. An elevator takes you upstairs to the rooms, so getting up with the kids under your arm is no problem. This heavenly place is located in a quiet bay of indescribable beauty. Here there is snow-white sand, fine as flour, and there is no excitement at all. A coniferous and palm grove stretches along the coast, so the evening air is filled with simply intoxicating aromas and birdsong. Everyone swims all day until the evening. When the tide goes out, the sea goes away, but there is an opportunity to splash around in the water near the shore. Compared to Pattaya, the sea in Tri Trang is transparent, incredibly clean and gentle. Adults and teenagers enjoy snorkeling.
There are three pools with different depths, shapes and decor. Wi-Fi is available everywhere, you can walk from the sea to the pool and at the same time chat without stopping.
