The green island of Phuket, sailing like a ship in the Andaman Sea, known since ancient times to all Dutch, Portuguese, French sailors and merchants, today is again a place of attraction, only this time for tourists laden with children, bags and suitcases.
And this is understandable, because the island is incredibly popular for its wide, fabulous beaches filled with snow-white fine sand sparkling against the blue water. Moreover, the sand is melodious and crunchy, like a real snowball in the cold, only here it will never melt.
Famous and adored beach places are Kata and Karon. Children feel great here, building white castles out of sand.
Karon is more majestic and extended. If on Katya the sea shimmers from blue to turquoise, then on Karon it is a soft emerald color. Some more beach recommendations:

The climate in Phuket, just like in Pattaya, is comfortable and warm all year round, but always humid. Children, most often, tolerate the change of seasons easier than we adults. For dinner - pumpkin puree soup, pasta, pizza, bolognese, meat of any kind, meatballs, ice cream. Water and bread are free. And the prices are quite reasonable. Breakfasts are excellent for all ages with dairy options, plenty of cereals and sweets, fruit, juices, beans, sausages and a variety of baked goods. The chic and most delicious mango shake is only here.
The sea is two minutes away at a sluggish pace. The beach, where towels are provided at the entrance, is well-groomed, clean, sandy. For complete enjoyment, there is also beer, a shower, and cool free water in the coolers.
The hotel has two swimming pools - for adults and children, surrounded by sea sand, fountains and various “beauties”. During the big wave season, you can spend time comfortably here too.
Tested by many cafes, where they offer delicious food for both parents and children - “Macarona” (you can overeat), “Vivan”, and also “Coconut” - it’s right on the beach. To eat in Russian and take a walk, you can and even need to visit the Spice House in the Festival (a wonderful place), where the food is like at your mother’s home.

The area is spacious with a mini-club for children and teenagers, swimming pools, basketball and badminton courts and, most importantly, a water park.
The breakfasts are hearty and varied - omelettes, pancakes, the inevitable sausages, different types of potatoes (especially tasty in sauce). The soups are excellent - you can safely feed the kids. The children willingly eat rice with vegetables without hot spices, divinely delicious buns, cakes, cheesecakes, and raspberry jam. There is an abundance of fruits, even Dragon Eye is available. Without any problems, you can feed your child lunch in two options - from the menu (there is a special children's menu) or from the buffet, where he takes whatever he wants. The portions are huge. You can eat your fill of just one salad.
In the water park, children eagerly devour hot dogs called “little monkey” and milkshakes. There is a daily fun event at one of the restaurants, and parties with a buffet and music are held next to the pool. The incredibly beautiful “playing with fire” show brings great pleasure.
Near the hotel there is excellent food at the Red Mango cafe. If you come with little ones, they give you a table next to the TV and turn on “Masha and the Bear.” For the guys: French fries, dumplings, fried sausages, spaghetti, sliced pineapple and watermelon - “free of charge.” Parents really like the unusual Tom Yam Majito cocktail.
The free children's club has interesting slides, an outdoor sandbox, and inside, where it stays cool, there is a dry pool, paints, and toys. Animators work with children. But there is also a private room where kids lie on soft pillows and watch cartoons. Slot machines are on the second floor. Children's pools are right next to the club, with music and animators. The kids here have complete freedom.
The beach is long and clean. There are plenty of sunbeds by the sea, but many spread towels under the trees. There are often high waves in the morning. The bottom becomes uneven, so it is better not to leave the kids alone. By noon, the bottom levels out, the water becomes clear, in which the children watch fish and small turtles. There is an adult swimming pool right next to the beach, where they offer games, water aerobics, and scuba diving. The water in the large round pool is very warm.
The water park is free and in many ways replaces the sea. Comfortable slides for children of any age. A river gurgles around you, along which you float straight into the terrible mouth of the monster, which makes the children simply squeal with delight.
If the children get sunburned, the administrators are asked for Aloe Vera leaves. They are brought from the village. Its juice will relieve both fever and pain in half an hour.

There are always a lot of positive emotions about the hotel. From the airport the trip takes a little over an hour. You are greeted by a huge, well-kept oasis of serenity, blooms and fragrance. The clean, spacious rooms have a bath, slippers, colorful towels (blue ones are taken to the beach) and other amenities. If you need a crib for a baby, they provide it free of charge. You can always buy everything you need for kids at the 7 eleven store (50 m to the right). In the evenings, the bars have loud music, so if you come with little ones, you should take rooms in buildings away from them.
The breakfast is quite filling, it has everything, but there is no bacon (which is perhaps only a plus). There is also not much variety in baked goods - toast, butter, three types of jam. The food in the restaurant is good, you can have regular and very interesting themed dinners. Nutrition for children over two years old is not an issue. For very tiny children, it is better to take the purees with you. Tasty, high-quality milk is available in local shops. Outside the hotel, children can easily be fed their usual food in a cafe, where European dishes are everywhere. It is worth pampering them with a signature Thai dessert - chopped bananas, mangoes, pineapples in an “envelope” of thin dough, which is prepared right on the street, poured with chocolate or syrups. There is a market very close by where the prices are very, very reasonable.
There are as many as seven swimming pools, two of which are half a meter deep - for children with slides and a comfortable water temperature. Two of the pools have a Jacuzzi - you can take the kids and treat them with tickling bubbles. The warmest pool with a gentle slope is next to the bar, closer to the reception. Towels, umbrellas, sun loungers - free of charge. But after seven in the evening they turn on water purification with bleach, so you need to be careful with children with allergies.
There is a games room, a small outdoor cinema, and a large sandbox filled with toys.
Kata Beach is 5-7 minutes on foot. The sea is azure and clean; if you go at the right time, you don’t have to be afraid of stormy waves.

A luxurious huge area with well-groomed lawns, fragrant flower beds, and singing birds. From the airport - less than half an hour. One pool for adults, one for little tourists with warm water and a smooth entry into the depths, which is convenient for the tiniest children. There is a children's club with a large comfortable playpen filled with colorful soft balls, many different construction sets, toys, and game consoles. Children willingly spend whole days here with friendly animator girls who teach them how to sculpt and draw with colored sand.

And right behind the trees lies a wonderful beach, to which it is worth flying halfway across the earth. There are no sunbeds, but on such clean, fine sand they are not needed. If necessary, they provide towels and rugs – it’s convenient!
The sea is like warm fresh milk, only blue. The bottom is flat and sandy everywhere, but it is better to keep infants and older children away from the surf line - quite high waves often “come”. No jellyfish are visible in the water.
If you take a walk with older kids along the surf, you can reach the airfield in about 45 minutes. Don’t forget to take water and thoroughly smear the child with sun ointment. The boys are wildly delighted when heavy Boeings take off right above them.
Breakfast has a standard selection. But the dishes are very tasty, fresh and filling. They even cook porridge. Nice variety of desserts and pastries. Excellent dinners and lunches. They offer a children's menu (prices are very reasonable). The central restaurant serves a buffet four nights a week. Young guests eat free on these evenings, paying only for drinking.
Outside the territory you can walk to the Mama cafe (to the right of the hotel). Outwardly, it’s not presentable, but in fact, the food is excellent, the fruit cocktails are delicious. The soup called “Tom Yam” in “Mama” is eagerly consumed by everyone, young and old. The main thing is to say the “miraculous” words no spicy (no spices).
