The tour to Greece was purchased through the company Solvex (office Kuznetsky Bridge, d.3). I wouldn’t like to speak badly about the entire team of this office, but the work of the manager of Belotserkovskaya Alfia leaves much to be desired.
1. Visa application.
We contacted the office almost two weeks before departure. I needed to get a visa, I decided to use the services of Solvex because... There was no time for independent registration. On our first visit to their office, we chose a tour, paying 100% of the cost, asked what list of documents would be needed to obtain a Schengen visa to Greece, the manager looked through my documents and dictated the list: 2NDFL certificate, copies of all completed pages of the Russian passport, questionnaire, 2 photographs and the actual passport. A day later the documents were on her desk, Alfiya checked everything and assured that everything was in order and the visa would be ready in three days. Two days later she informed me by phone that these documents were not suitable: because... I am not registered in Moscow or in the Moscow Region, I need to make a temporary registration, instead of a 2NDFL certificate, take a certificate using a special visa center form from the personnel department. It took time to prepare these documents; in the end, I submitted the documents a week before departure. Instead of the promised three days, the visa was ready only after four working days - on the last evening before departure, and the passport was not handed over to me, but to the airport at the check-in counter (along with all other documents), which made me nervous before departure. Was Alfia really applying for a visa to Greece for the first time or was her incompetence in this matter related to some other circumstances?
2. Return flight.
Initially, we were promised that we would fly there and back with Greek airlines Ellinair, and the departure time to Moscow was indicated at 20:05, which pleased us because... we would still have almost a whole day, which we planned to spend exploring the city of Thessaloniki. But directly on the day of departure, when we received a package of documents at Domodedovo airport, it turned out that we were flying back not with Greek airlines, but with VimAvia. Because This is a fairly inexpensive option; lunch during a three-hour flight was offered to us accordingly - a sandwich and a drink. In addition, the departure time for some reason was postponed to 13:45, instead of the promised 20:05, so we were deprived of the opportunity to explore Solonniki.
We will not contact Solvex again and we do not recommend it to you!
