How to get from Dadonghai Bay to Yalun Bay?
After much hesitation, you finally chose Dadonghai Bay for your vacation. With the caveat that if the sea in Dadonghai Bay turns out to be completely unsuitable for swimming, we will swim in Yalunwan. Thanks to well-developed public transport, getting to Yalong Bay is not at all difficult. Getting to Yalongwan is very easy. Firstly, there are always taxis everywhere, but this is not our way. We, without a doubt, used public transport, namely the 25 bus.
Bus next to Yalong Bay You need to take route 25 to the very end. Travel time will be approximately 30 minutes. At the entrance to the bus, tell the girl-controller the cherished word Yalunwan, and she will tell you that it’s time to get off, however, almost the entire bus will go to the beach. The fare costs seven yuan per person.

If you want to save money, then it is better to stay in Dadonghai Bay and get to Yalunwan using public transport.

The water invites you to swim. But damn, there is no such crazy number of people on the Bounty, well, there is no way.
This is what it is - the Chinese Bounty, Yalun Bay Jet skis and bananas rush across the water. Parts of the sea fenced off for swimmers are teeming with people. People on sunbeds, people on the sand, people in tents erected on the beach, crowds of people sitting right under the bridge.
Bathers in Yalong Bay Outside this apparently public beach, there are practically empty beaches, but these are the territories of other hotels and they are fenced off. Perhaps it is possible to get there somehow, but we did not conduct experiments.

The beach has many changing cabins and places where you can leave your things and take a shower. The cost of these services is 20 yuan. If you go left to the end of the beach, there will be a free changing room, but inside it’s dirty and crowded, but it’s free.

According to our feelings, Yalong Bay is a resort with very expensive hotels and good sea. On the way to the beach, I was haunted by the feeling that this place was specially only for vacationers and there was no other life here. Pretentious hotels, flowers, expensive cars all around.
In fact, there are almost no inexpensive places where you can eat more than on the beach. It takes longer to get to the main tourist attractions from Yalong Bay (not more difficult, but just longer). Despite the fact that the sea in Dadonghai Bay is noticeably worse than in Yalun Bay, I am glad that we made this choice. There is nothing on Yalunwan except the sea. If you want to swim, it’s always easy and simple to get there. So, if not only a beach holiday is important to you, then Dadonghai seems to me a more suitable option.

From Dadonghai you need to take bus 25 or 15. They also run through the central part of Sanya.
You can also get to Yalongwan by train, but you need to check in advance at the station at the departure point whether the train stops here.
When is the best time to go?
The weather at the Yalongwan resort allows you to relax here all year round. The highest daily temperature here is from May to August - +32 - +33°C, the lowest from December to February - +21 - +22°C. As for the water temperature, in summer it reaches +29 - +30°C. The lowest values in winter are +21 - +23°C.
Even if the weather conditions aren't ideal for swimming in the sea, there are plenty of cultural and natural attractions to visit.
