The slopes are prepared daily with a snow groomer. This year the middle slope was not opened, but the area under the former snow park was leveled. For a more or less advanced skier, skiing on it, however, is just as boring as on the slope to the left of the yoke.

Lifts. On the first slope there is a double mop rope. The yoke is soft and easy to climb with children. On the second - the worst invention of skiing humanity - the baby lift. On a steep slope there are two single yoke-plates. There is one BUT: queues. On a steep slope, according to our observations, the second lift is turned on if the waiting time in line exceeds 10 minutes. But, unfortunately, it breaks down quite often, and then the queue exceeds all conceivable limits. Another mop yoke on a steep slope is idle; summer, apparently, was not enough to register it with Rostechnadzor. On gentle weekends and in good weather, you can stand for up to 20 minutes.

Prices. We have always been surprised by the scarcity and unprofitability of subscription programs: the absence of daily, monthly unlimited passes, unlimited weekend passes and other common options. But all this was not so bad. From February 1, 2011, the administration of Fox Mountain stopped selling so-called monthly passes for 3,000 rubles. (limit 150 climbs) - the only way to ski in Balashikha at a reasonable price. There are only daytime ones left, and the maximum is now 30 climbs instead of 50: I bought 30 climbs - be so kind as to ride them today. There's a line, it's cold, you're just tired of riding - your problem, you won't get your money back. Before the New Year, season tickets were sold for 20,000 rubles. What can I say, at other resorts near Moscow with a much greater variety of trails, you could choose a seasonal one for almost half the price.

Infrastructure . In the main building of the complex (white tent) there is a locker room and toilets. There are also rentals and luggage storage (50 rubles/day). Paid (RUB 100/day) and free parking is available. There is a cafe.

Directions. A significant advantage of Lisya Gora could be considered its transport accessibility: only 7 km from the Moscow Ring Road. But even here, not everything is so rosy. It can take up to 14 hours to get to the mountain on a working day, and then you have to allow at least 30 minutes for the notorious 7 km. After 2 p.m., only very patient people and residents of Balashikha can leave Moscow along the Enthusiast Highway. On weekends the situation is calmer, but the principle “the sooner you leave, the sooner you get there” still applies.

Total. We make a simple calculation of the pure time spent on the mountain and its cost. The descent time on any of the slopes of Fox Mountain for a very average skier will not exceed 30 seconds (for a good skier this time is half as long, but we will round up in favor of the mountain). The maximum subscription for 30 climbs on a weekend costs 1,400 rubles. 30 descents of 30 seconds = 900 seconds (15 minutes!) of pure skiing time. Are you ready to pay 1,400 rubles for 15 minutes of riding? It’s up to you.

For comparison: an unlimited pass for a day on Elbrus costs 1,000 rubles (a mountain with only 1,500 meters of elevation difference), in Italian Cervinia with its 110 kilometers of slopes - 37 euros (1,600 rubles).

The drunken administration with security guards chase those who don’t know how to ski and force them to go to the ski lift, and there, without an instructor, these poor fellows break their foreheads, because this is the first time they’ve seen this poor ski lift. In short, if you are not good at skiing and are used to walking up a slope and riding down a small hill (if you are learning), then on FOX MOUNTAIN you will not be allowed to do this (you will not learn here).

It’s just that the security and the administrator need to drink less, it’s a complete mess and they still demand money for it.

It’s a pity, it’s a pity that such a good mountain is being killed by the so-called “management”. With such competition ski slopes in the Moscow region, the most important thing that a resort has is a permanent audience. And we have to fight for it...

For safety, it is separated by a net from the slope with a lift. So now you can avoid standing in a long line and go down without it at least ten times, but it’s safe.

Yes, it’s possible that beginners hurt their foreheads without an instructor on the ski lift (though I can’t really imagine how they succeed in this on the snow, although everything is possible - it depends on the person, not on the ski lift), but even if this is the case , then they break them only for themselves, and not also for those of their companions ascending on foot, to whom they, such independent ones, will be “magnetized” during the descent.

1. Not all tariffs have increased. For example, it appeared for 2000 rubles. "subscription weekday» for 100 lifts, valid until the end of the season. This is in exchange for 3000/150 daily/30 days. But this is, let’s say, an abik for those living nearby, of course.

I was on Fox Mountain last Saturday. I was very upset by the fact that children over 6 years old have to pay full price for using the lifts!!! I don’t know of any such resort in the Moscow region. I came with two children (both 10 years old) - they paid 900 rubles for 15 climbs. Total - 2700 for an hour of skiing on not the best slopes - this is very expensive!
