Do you like to travel? Yes, nowadays such pleasure is not cheap. Not everyone has the opportunity to travel to Ukraine, not to mention the cities of the World. And I really want to walk along the streets of Madrid or Paris.
My mother and I often sit down at the computer in the evenings and go for a walk around the city of our youth, Lvov. It will be pleasant to plunge into the atmosphere of your childhood, where everything is so close and dear.
While we lived there, we didn’t notice much. And when was it noticed? But now you can calmly “walk” along any street and look at every house and every tree...
And you have this opportunity. All you need for such trips is a computer and Internet access. So, let's take a walk through the streets of the Polish Republic of Warsaw as an example.
Such walks can be made both in the Yandex and Google search engines. Abroad, Google has more opportunities and more busy online cities. So we’ll go to the Google search engine (google.ru) and type two words into the search engine google maps.
A map with street names will open. We choose any point we like on this map. A small photograph of the street appears below.
Click on this photo and move to this point.
Point the mouse at the road along which we will move and click the mouse. Some people find it more convenient to use the arrow buttons (forward, back, right, left) on the keyboard.
At the very bottom there are small photographs. You can click on any of them and you will immediately move to the point shown in the photo.
Thus, you can navigate through any cities that are loaded into such maps and view all the sights of the World.

Virtual train journey along the Great Trans-Siberian Railway

On the 700-meter high Corcovado Mountain stands a gigantic figure of Christ with his arms outstretched over the city, as if blessing this land. Every year, almost 2 million tourists and local residents climb to the top of the mountain to take photos in front of the monument “for good luck.” The exact dimensions of the Christ the Redeemer monument in Rio are: height - 38 meters, including the pedestal - 8 meters; weight - 1145 tons, arm span - 30 meters. It is generally accepted that the idea of its creation arose in 1922, when the 100th anniversary of Brazilian independence was celebrated. The Church of the Intercession on the Nerl (1165) near the village of Bogolyubovo is the greatest monument of Russian architecture. It is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site called “White Stone Monuments of Vladimir and Suzdal”. This outstanding landmark of Russia is built on a man-made hill at the confluence of the Nerl and Klyazma rivers. The floods of the river are resisted by the foundation of a special structure, going five meters deep into the hill. It is surprising that the temple was erected in just a year - in the life of Andrei Bogolyubsky it is stated: “you completed this church in one summer and made a monastery for monastics with it.” From the chronicle it follows that the temple is associated with the victorious campaign of the Vladimir people against the Bulgars and the death of the son of Prince Andrei, Prince Izyaslav. The temple has miraculously survived to this day.
