This small island from the Adang Rawi archipelago of Satun province in southern Thailand, located only 60 km from the mainland. To get to this wonderful place There are several options, depending on where you are and what time of year you plan to travel.
Conventionally, the calendar year on Koh Lipe is divided into three parts: peak season (from early December to late February), high season (from early November to mid-May) and low season (from mid-May to early November). During the peak and high season, Koh Lipe can be reached from various resorts in Thailand,

The easiest way to get to Koh Lipe
The island of Koh Lipe has become so popular that it can now be reached very quickly in a simple way- just buy a combined ticket: flight + minibus + speedboat. Nok Air has had this service for a relatively long time, and Air Asia recently introduced it. You need to choose the island of Koh Lipe as your destination and then you can relax - you will be met everywhere and put in the right transport.
The cost of a complex ticket, plus or minus, is the same as if you buy everything separately. Just remember the following: the earlier you buy such tickets, the cheaper they will be. Cheap airfares from these companies sell out quickly.
If we talk about numbers, then a complex ticket from Bangkok to Koh Lipe by plane + minivan + speedboat will cost from 2000 baht.
How to get to Pakbara
To get to Pakbara by ground transport, you will need an approximate amount of time from: Hat Yai - 2 hours, Trang - 2 hours, Satun - 1 hour, Krabi - 4 hours. If you arrive at airports (Trang, Krabi), then you should allow extra time for the road. In addition, take into account the slowness and unpunctuality of Thais; transport delays in Thailand are very common.
If you are traveling from to the pier in Pakbara you have the following options:
1) Taxi from Hat Yai airport directly to Pakbara (1500-2000 baht).
2) Tuk-tuk (within 100 baht) or taxi to Hat Yai bus station (within 300 baht), from where minivans go to Pakbara (within 200 baht). The tuk-tuk parking lot is located next to the exit from the airport; it is best to ask on the spot so they can show you where to go. Don't forget to tell/ask the driver "bus station to Pakbara", which means the bus station to Pakbara. It may wait until it's filled with people, so you'll have to figure it out on the spot.
3) Buy a minibus + speedboat transfer to Koh Lipe at Hat Yai airport (1000 baht).
How to get to Koh Lipe from Pakbara
If you got to Pakbara using one of the following methods, but did not buy tickets for a ferry or speedboat to Koh Lipe, then you need to buy a ticket from one of the many agencies. Prices for transport are approximately the same for everyone and amount to 600-650 baht, but it’s worth walking around - there are special offers.
Buying a ticket to Ferry (relatively slow transport and travel time 2:30 instead of 1:30 for speedboats) does not make sense, since the cost is equal to speedboats. If you are not limited in travel time or the trip has flexible dates, then it is not necessary to take return tickets, prices at numerous agencies on Koh Lipe are the same, and during our vacation we even saw special offers for 400 baht.
Should be considered, all of the above applies to high and peak seasons in Koh Lipe.
During the low season, you will most likely have to take a taxi to Pakbara and use the speedboat flight at 11-11:30. If you are late, you will have to spend the night in one of the local hotels.
Additional fees on the way to Koh Lipe
1) Entrance to the pier 
Pakbari costs 20 baht. It’s not clear what the fee is for, it seems to be some kind of environmental fee.
2) There is no pier on Koh Lipe, so ferries and speedboats moor at a floating platform, from where “kind” longboat drivers will take you to the beach for 50 baht. In theory, to the beach that you say, but most likely they will take you to the nearest one - Pattaya Beach, from where you will have to get there on your own. Some hotels greet you with signs. Likewise, you will be charged 50 baht when you leave the island.
I must admit, everything is well organized, everyone is trying to help, don’t hesitate to ask. Koh Lipe seemed like an extremely friendly place.
What to consider to successfully get to Koh Lipe
1) The schedule is subject to seasonality, many of the flights from mid-May to the end of October (low season) are not available.
2) The schedule may change, it is necessary to clarify it either on site or through the contacts indicated on the carriers’ websites.
3) Transport may be delayed/break down, the last flights may be cancelled, so to be completely sure, it is better to focus on the first boats of the companies.
4) The rapid development of tourism on the island - a lot of new things for last years. And most likely it will become easier and cheaper to get to Koh Lipe.
How to get to Koh Lipe
The island of Koh Lipe is located in the south of Thailand, on the border of the territorial waters of Thailand and Malaysia.

How to get to Koh Lipe from Moscow
Air tickets Moscow - Bangkok (BKK) are purchased at.
Depending on the airline and the time of arrival in Bangkok, tickets are purchased for a morning flight (the same day or the next day).
For example, I'm arriving Qatar Airways from Doha to Bangkok at 17:45.

After 1:30, I get out at the lounge of the Akira Lipe Resort, drink coffee and wait to be called to board the speedboat. Nearby is the lounge of the Sita Beach Resort (if you have booked this hotel).
I leave everything unnecessary (for example, warm clothes) for storage in the Akira lounge.
At 13:00 I get off the speedboat onto the beach in front of Akira and while they are carrying my things, I sign on the prepared form, drink iced tea and receive the keys to my bungalow.
In this chain, it is important to fly out of Bangkok in the morning before 11:00, or you will have to spend the night in Pakbar.
Pakbara starting point on Koh Lipe
Previously, Pakbara was a terrible hole (20 years ago).
When I first came to Pakbara, there was not a single hotel in the fishermen's village, except for 4 rooms on the second floor of a grocery store with one toilet in the corridor for everyone.
And the ship that brought tourists from Pakbara to Koh Lipe was made of wood and resembled a Spanish galleon of the 15th century (it broke down twice per voyage)
Now you won’t recognize Pakbara: a 7/11 store, ATMs, seafood restaurants (though Muslim ones with menus in Thai).
The port at Pakbar is a building made of stone and glass.
It’s a pity I don’t have any photographs of the port of Pakbara-2002 at hand: on the river bank there are sandbags on which 2 boards are thrown - this is a pier.
How to get to Pakbara

Trang Airport is slightly closer to Pak Bara than Hat Yai Airport.
For example: flew from Bangkok to Trang ()
Exit to the arrivals hall and go to the transfer counter (left side of the hall).
A taxi to Pakbara costs 2,200 baht and takes an hour and a half to travel. The price is fixed and written on the board in front of the counter.
If you have high speed ferry tickets Tigerline, then you need to take a taxi to the pier Hat Yao— it’s 50 minutes from Trang airport)
You can team up with someone and split the cost of a taxi.
You can go out onto the main road and try to find a ride or negotiate with a taxi directly.
But the fact remains: a taxi from Trang airport to Pakbara costs 2,200 baht.

Speedboats depart from Pakbara at 9:30, 11:30 and 15:30 during low season.
The best option would be to take the first speedboat at 9:30 so that you can be in Lipa at 11-11:30. But for this you need to arrive in Pakbara the day before leaving for Koh Lipe.

Koh Lipe is a tiny island in the Andaman Sea in the very south of Thailand.
I visited it for the first time at the end of 2006.
And I realized that I had found a place for which I have only one definition - it’s paradise!
There are perhaps more beautiful places in Thailand, for example, the postcard Pi-Pi Don.
But Lipa had a unique combination of beauty, a special atmosphere, nature almost untouched by man, and what was especially pleasing was a very small number of people.
I was constantly being pulled back.
But as often happens, when something is close to you and easily achievable, you choose it last.
So, having traveled almost all of Southeast Asia over the past 5 years, I got to Lipe for the second time only this February.
The first thing we saw when we landed on the island:

There are now many hotels on the island, most of the beaches have turned into piers for boats and there are people, people, people everywhere.
Fortunately, it turned out that not everything is so sad! And pieces of the former paradise can still be found.

Every day we had dinner at the Daya Resort restaurant, on the seashore, by candlelight.
Freshly caught fish is brought to them right before dinner. Cooked on the grill.
We ordered a grouper there - it was great!

Clear, clear water with vibrant underwater life
It's interesting to snorkel. Watching the fish.
During the week we saw several moray eels, stingrays, boxfish, schools of fish... But we saw the most interesting living creatures from the shore. Fortunately!!!
The meeting was unforgettable. We walked from the restaurant along the shore in the evening. The water was well illuminated by the lanterns of one of the hotels. At the same time, my sister and I saw some multi-meter hose swaying in the surf near the shore. As a joke (since this does not happen) they suggested that it was a snake. We managed to agree with each other that it was probably a loose cable from one of the boats. We came almost close to the shore and then the “cable” floated out into the sea with several smooth, sliding movements. Fantastic! It was a snake after all. At least 4-5 meters long.

And only the girl on the far right thought that life was not fair and for some reason she didn’t get soda.

No special attractions. But the lanterns were impressive
Is it worth going to the island now? For me the answer is clear. Yes!
Lipe still remains one of the best and most beautiful places in Thailand.
You can still find deserted beaches there. And in some places amazing views.
How long? I think no. Another couple of years and the last pieces of paradise will be swallowed up by more hotels, bars and boat moorings.
So we need to seize the moment now. There are not many places like this island in the world.

Ko Lipe is a remote island located in the south of Thailand, 20 km from the border with Malaysia. Washed by the waters of the Andaman Sea as part of the Adang Ravi archipelago - no longer wild island, but an actively developing global resort.

In general, the island is small, you can easily get around it on foot in a couple of hours. That's why public transport absent. There are few cars on the island; they are mainly used as freight transport.

The resort has a tropical climate. The year is conventionally divided into two seasons, the first of which is dry, the second is wet. Beaches

The main beach is Pattaya Beach. Located in the southern part of the island, it is the most popular among tourists; its shape resembles a small horseshoe. The entire length of the coast is covered with fine white sand, the sea is calm.
On the busy Walking Street, which should not be confused with the street of the same name in the resort of Pattaya, for which Thailand is so famous, there are many cafes, bars and restaurants with different cuisines.

Sunrise Beach, as its name suggests, is best suited for watching sunrises; you can often find similar photos on the Internet. In addition, the clear water makes this place almost ideal for snorkeling and diving.
