Distance from Primorsko to Sozopol. Sozopol - Primorsko. Disadvantages of buses compared to other types of public transport

Friends, good afternoon.
In June I spent two weeks in Bulgaria. Among other things, traveling around the country, lying on the beach, and other idle excesses, I went fishing several times. One morning was devoted to spinning, fishing with wobblers, drop-shop, dipping all sorts of worms and krakazyabr. The result is zero. However, the locals also said that they only catch the predator in the fall; they had never even heard of the scorpionfish, which I was hoping to catch. At a local fishing tent I bought a special equipment for catching mullet, which is a rig about a meter long, with three leashes about 10 cm long, a hook, around which a colored foam ball is attached. The bait is a swamp worm. I caught it in the morning from a rocky pier in the town of Primorsko, at the mouth of the Dyavolska River. The bite was like on black rocks. Small mullet (Singil) was caught, up to 100 gr. The bites are sharp, the lively fish, our roaches, crucian carp and chubs, are of the same size in no comparison. There were bites on every cast, but the hooks on my rig were too big for such a fish, so I caught one or two casts. Once two fish hung at once on a three-hook bet. I caught 7 fish this morning. Went to twice famous place to the port of Sozopol. The place is not very remarkable in terms of landscape, but it is fishy. Locals from all over the area go there for mullet, mostly in the fall. The mullet bites are sharp, give me the fishing rod style. There were also breaks. The largest mullet, 700 grams caught.

Attractive tourist country With rich history, beautiful nature and renowned for its hospitality. IN last years the country has changed dramatically, especially at the resorts - they are completely rebuilt, most of the hotels have been updated, and many new and spacious high-class hotels have been built. I would like to especially draw the attention of people who visited resorts back in Soviet times - hotels here were not just renovated, but rebuilt, demolishing everything old, and the concept of food has also radically changed, even if it’s not “all inclusive” with excellent Bulgarian wine, it’s definitely a good buffet. And if you do not take the all-inclusive meal plan at the hotel, then you will greatly appreciate the delicious Bulgarian cuisine in the nearest restaurants on the coast - lamb on a spit, "chushka" - simply put, "bell peppers".

Everywhere Bulgarians welcome us as dear guests. And everywhere on the Black Sea coast everyone will find entertainment to their taste: discos, horseback riding, excursions. For the most interested and courageous - "Excursion to Istanbul": majestic bridges over the beautiful Bosphorus, the Great Blue Mosque, Topkapi, oriental sweets... Believe me, this excursion will be one of the most vivid impressions from a trip to Bulgaria.

Be sure to go to "Unique Nessebar"- museum under open air, a huge selection of souvenirs awaits you there. And for those who want to have a lot of fun with Bulgarian folk dances, wine and jokes - the most the best excursion will become "Bulgarian village"! And also wide, clean sandy beaches, comfortable hotels, the absence of such a language barrier and the bright Bulgarian sun!

In the summer, for a faster, more comfortable flight to resorts, charter flights to Varna and Burgas are launched. The time difference between Russia and Bulgaria is only 1 hour.

Golden Sands

There are many resort towns on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria that attract tourists with their beauty, special historical spirit and favorable conditions for recreation climate. City Sozopol– one of the brightest representatives of resorts of this kind. Those who come here for whom a vacation on the Black Sea is more than simply squeezing a beach chair or aimlessly traveling through coastal cafes and bars. Once in Sozopol, many fall under the spell of its amazing landscapes - bays and cliffs, golden beaches, ancient houses hugging narrow streets... Despite its venerable age, the city Sozopol- a modern resort. It is located 35 km from large city Burgas, in the southern part Burgas Bay. Sozopol “spreads out” on peninsulas Akrotir and Skamni and on the islands Saint Julita and Saint Cyric. The islands of St. Peter and St. Ivan, like a natural shield, protect from northern winds a winding bay between the “urban” peninsulas. The location chosen in ancient times turned out to be successful - the forests and iron ores of the Strandzha Mountains, the fertile fields of Thrace and the southern salt mines became easily accessible through it. Therefore, it is not surprising that even before our era Sozopol became a famous port. Today it is used for tourism, recreational travel and passenger transport.

Sights of Sozopol

IN Sozopol Thousands of tourists come every year, looking not only for a vacation on the Black Sea, but also for something else. Tourists of this stream are called pilgrims, and they arrive in this city to touch the great Christian shrine - relics of John the Baptist, known as John the Baptist. The same John who announced the coming of Christ.

These relics (facial bone, hand bones, tooth) were discovered in July 2010 during archaeological excavations at St. Ivan Island. Currently they are kept in the Church of St. George in a luxurious reliquary made of gold and silver.

There are generally many religious buildings in Sozopol and the surrounding area ( churches and chapels). When going on a walking tour around the city, be sure to visit them, and also include them in your route:

  • Temple of Cyril and Methodius;
  • ruins of a Roman amphitheater.

Holidays in Sozopol... But someone, uttering these words, is transported to memories of well-spent summer days, of the Black Sea, islands and a cozy bay, the shores of which, like honey mushrooms, are strewn with small red-headed houses... But such memories can become yours too : come to Sozopol!

The resort itself, in my opinion, is nothing special, and, to be honest, we were a little bored there. To unwind, we decided to go to the Primorsko water park.

By bus

In Sozopol, the bus station is located in the old part of the city. In fact, there is no bus station building, there is simply a stop where taxi drivers park and buses stop. You can ask any passerby or souvenir seller (what I like is the lack of a language barrier), and they will definitely tell you where to go.

Most buses are passable and run almost 24 hours a day. Judging by the information I found on the Internet, the traffic interval can vary greatly, sometimes amounting to 10-15 minutes, and sometimes more than an hour. True, there are many buses that are not listed on the schedule, so in fact the frequency of bus service is 15-20 minutes.

You will spend about half an hour on the road.

In Primorsko, the bus station is a three-minute walk from the water park.

What is the price

A ticket from Sozopol to Primorsko costs 2 levs (1 euro).

Where can I buy

You need to buy a bus ticket from the driver when boarding. Try to carry small change with you to avoid problems with change.

By car

In Primorsko, in addition to the water park, there are two more interesting places: Ropotamo Nature Reserve, Arkutino Botanical Garden and Cape Maslen Nos. If you want to see everything, then you definitely need to rent a car and drive to Primorsko in it. If you travel by bus, it is simply unrealistic to get everywhere in one day.

Driving on Bulgarian roads is free for cars with local license plates. Gasoline in the country is inexpensive - only 1.08 euros per liter (I write “just” because compared to the cost of fuel in France or Italy, this is actually pennies), and since the distance between the resorts is minimal, you will spend pennies on gasoline .

Attached is a map with the route marked. As you can see, you just need to leave Sozopol on road No. 99 and stick to it. The entire journey will take a maximum of 20 minutes.

The road in Primorsko is of good quality, in principle, like everywhere else in Bulgaria. Not a high-speed highway, of course, but also a pretty decent highway.

By taxi

If you want to get to Primorsko with maximum comfort and not have to worry about arranging a car rental, you can take a taxi and go there by it. Taxis in Bulgaria are relatively inexpensive, so even such an intercity trip will not cost too much.

Traveling around Bulgaria by taxi is absolutely safe; the maximum that threatens a foreign tourist is that the driver will try not to turn on the meter. To avoid unpleasant situations, just try not to take a car “off the curb”, but call a taxi by phone from the hotel reception. More detailed information On the topic of traveling by taxi around the country, you can read this.

Results

We were only going to visit the water park, so we decided to go by bus. We refused the option of a car due to the cost of rental (to be honest, we were simply “strangled by a toad”). Unfortunately, it is not possible to get from Sozopol to Primorsko by alternative means of transport (train or boat).
