Travel to Ferrari Park. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Useful information for visitors

Ferrari Park in Abu Dhabi is the main amusement park in the city! It is the world's largest indoor theme park and is home to the world's fastest roller coaster. Ferrari Park in Abu Dhabi offers many interesting attractions. The most popular of these is the Formula Rossa, but other attractions are also worth a look.
Ferrari Park in Abu Dhabi is an adventure world and a major theme park. Ferrari World is located on Yas Island in the UAE and has total area 25 hectares, of which 8 hectares are under roof. This adventure world is the largest in the world. There are 20 rides themed around fast driving.

Video about Ferrari Park in Abu Dhabi

Ferrari and Aldar Properties PJSC announced in 2005 the creation of a theme park in Abu Dhabi. Construction began in November 2008, and on April 4, 2010, the Ferrari Park in Abu Dhabi opened.
Ferrari World is the first major theme park built by an automobile brand. A smaller theme park still exists in Maranello, Ferrari's headquarters. Ferrari World was designed by English architecture firm Benoy, with engineering firm Ramboll leading the work. Ferrari Park offers visitors a full-fledged track, a go-kart track and other attractions. There is also an overview of current and historical Ferrari products. In addition, visitors can look forward to a theater and show complex, as well as special driving schools with racing programs.

A 62-meter free-fall attraction called G-Force stands in the center of the building. The attraction, created by Huss Rides, pushes the “passenger” with enormous force. Anyone who isn't afraid of free fall should take part in G-Force. From a height of 62 meters you get incredible views of Abu Dhabi.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi offers many fast-paced rides, such as the world's fastest roller coaster. The Formula Rossa accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and from 0 to 240 km/h in 4.9 seconds. Ferrari's simulated roller coaster cars offer a top speed of 240 km/h. In this roller coaster, passengers primarily feel the high acceleration forces for which Formula 1 is famous.
If you don't want to go that fast, you can try the slightly more comfortable Fiorano GT Challenge roller coaster. Many of the rides are aimed at young people and children because Ferrari expects them to be the buyers of the future. In the adventure world of Ferrari Park, of course, there are various restaurants and food stalls.

Formula 1

Next to Ferrari World is the Formula 1 track, where the first Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was held in 2009. First race on new route on Yas Island began on November 1. If you want to drive on this Formula 1 track, you must first visit the Ferrari World Driving School Abu Dhabi. At this driving school, guests can first try their driving skills in small F430 GT Spiders. Later they will be able to drive on a "trial" track and only after that they will be able to drive a miniature Ferrari car on a Formula 1 track.

Attractions at Ferrari Park

G Force offers the opportunity to fly through the roof Ferrari parka World and get a wonderful view of Yas Island. People with a height of 1.4 to 1.95 meters are allowed to participate in this attraction.
V12- an attraction that will allow you to see the famous 12-cylinder Ferrari engine from the inside. You'll go through the pistons, past the cylinders and through the differential and out the exhaust pipe! Children over 1.1 meters tall are allowed. Children between 1.1 and 1.4 meters tall must be accompanied by an adult.
Fiorano GT Challenge offers a ride in a replica of the Ferrari F430 Spider.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi also offers virtual factory tours and a driving simulator that puts you on track. Of course, there is also a collection of Ferrari cars.
For parents with small children, strollers are available for rent. There is also an authentic Italian restaurant at Ferrari Park Abu Dhabi where you can enjoy fresh pasta or pizza. There are restaurants serving other world cuisines and a souvenir shop.

Ticket price to Ferrari Park and opening hours

Ferrari World is located on Yas Island, next to the Formula 1 track. The opening hours of this amusement park are daily from 11:00 to 20:00. The ticket price for adults is 234 dirhams, and for children - 195 dirhams. But these are minimum prices, so don't be surprised if tickets end up costing more.
Note that it makes sense to book tickets on the Ferrari World website, as there are two advantages. The first is that you won't have to queue for a ticket at the entrance, and sometimes the queue is quite long. The second advantage is that the prices when booking on the website are the lowest. At the same time, there is an opportunity to save additional money. For example, there is an online ticket for sale for Ferrari World at the standard Bronze rate or Park Pass (formerly called YAS Park Pass) with a discount on entry to Yas Waterworld and Ferrari World. The cheapest online ticket for Ferrari Park currently costs (as of November 2017) 234 AED for adults and 195 AED for children up to 1.3 meters tall. True, such prices imply some conditions: the ticket is purchased at the “bronze” rate, you fix the date of your visit in advance and book the ticket at least 15 days before the planned visit. The cheapest Park Pass for visiting the water park and Ferrari World costs 250 AED for adults and 212 AED for children. Thus, a ticket to both parks costs only marginally more than a ticket to Ferrari World alone. However, it's worth noting that the cheapest combination ticket offered here only gets you into both parks on the same day. Here too, it is important to choose a date and book a ticket at least 15 days in advance. If you want to buy a combined ticket for two parks, but visit them on different days, then you will need to pay a little more: 285 AED for adults and 242 AED for children. Interestingly, the terms and conditions state that dated tickets are valid 3 days before and 3 days after the selected date.
Of course, it would be nice to visit 2 parks in one day. And it’s not only about saving money, but also about the fact that you don’t have to spend two days visiting the parks. In addition, many tourists come to Ferrari Park and Yas Waterworld from Dubai, Sharjah and other UAE emirates. In this case, traveling to Abu Dhabi twice will be expensive and tiring. So often the option of two parks in one day is optimal. But on the one hand, you will have to carry your swimsuit with you to Ferrari World, and on the other hand, you will need to keep an eye on the clock at the water park where you would probably like to relax. The fact is that the water park opens earlier, and often tourists go here first and then go to Ferrari Park.

VIP tickets to Ferrari Park

Premium tickets are also always available. With these tickets you can skip the line to any attraction thanks to Fast Pass status. In addition, you will also receive a souvenir voucher. Tickets in this category are called "Silver" and "Gold" tickets. They differ in how often the Fast Pass can be used and the value of the souvenir voucher.
Based on own experience, I can say that this additional expense is not worth it, since we hardly stood in line anywhere. It is possible that on some days there are really a lot of people here, but we were there on Saturday, which is a day off. But some tourists stated that they had to stand in queues even on a weekday. In general, draw your own conclusions.

Additional payments

It is important to know that not all Ferrari World attractions are included in the ticket price. Some attractions require you to pay an additional fee on site. It would probably be worth making a ticket that would include absolutely all the attractions. Most cheap ticket going to an amusement park in Abu Dhabi is already relatively expensive, but you will still need to pay extra for some attractions. In addition, some “free” attractions sometimes do not work for unknown reasons. Limited entertainment also occurs on certain holidays.
We encourage you to make the most of your ticket. After the rides, let yourself be carried away by the funny 4D worlds or make your way through the artificial landscape of Italy and travel back in time. Take a look at the vintage and modern cars on display and enjoy the pleasant coolness and stunning architecture of Ferrari World.
In any case, Ferrari Park deserves at least one visit, because it is an iconic landmark not only in Abu Dhabi, but throughout the UAE.

Photos of Ferrari Park

Abu Dhabi. It is located under a huge roof on an area of more than 200 thousand square meters. meters and is considered the largest indoor park.

Ferrari World or Ferrari World was opened to visitors in 2010. This is a great place for family vacation, where you can come for the whole day and have a great time with your children. They will probably be very grateful to you.

The design of Ferrari World began back in 2004, and construction began in 2008. The construction of the park was neither shaky nor uneven, and its opening was periodically postponed. And only six years after the project was announced, the park finally opened.

The most difficult construction project was the signature red Ferrari World roof. Today it is decorated with the famous Ferrari logo, which is considered the largest trademark of this company in the world.

What can you see here?

The Ferrari World park has 20 attractions, many of which are unique, one of a kind. So, here you can ride the fastest roller coaster in the world, which is extremely popular.

1) "Beautiful Italy" is an exhibition stand that tells about the tourist centers of this country, demonstrating magnificent views of Italian nature, monuments, cultural, historical and religious attractions. You can ride in a Ferrari or just walk around this attraction.

2) "Carousel"- one of the most traditional attractions for kids, who can ride with their parents on various miniature prototypes of Ferrari cars and try their hand at driving.

3) Cinema Maranello– here you can see a film that will take you back to the twenties of the last century, when this company was founded in Italy and its first racing cars appeared.

4) "Flying Aces" is a famous roller coaster that can be safely included in the Guinness Book of Records. It is a biplane model from the beginning of the last century, on which you can make a real triple loop.

This attraction simulates the movements of a biplane, performing aerobatic maneuvers, reaching speeds of up to 120 km per hour. "Flying Aces" is dedicated to the famous Italian military pilot Baracca.

5) Ross formula- the world's fastest roller coaster, made in Switzerland. The speed along it is more than 200 km per hour. The attraction is not for the faint-hearted park guests.

6) Ferrari Gallery– the most major exhibition models of these cars after a similar exhibition in hometown of this Maranello company in Italy. Beautiful place, which boys like best.

7) Children's driving school– minor guests of the park can get driving lessons in a sports or racing Ferrari, and then have a blast driving a children’s version of the car through the many intricate Italian streets.

8) Made in Italy- an attraction that is a virtual tour of the production premises of the Ferrari plant in Maranello, which gives an idea of the stages of creation of these cars.

9) Voyage over Italy- a virtual journey over this wonderful country by air, during which you can fully enjoy its beauty and want to immediately go there on a tourist trip.

Souvenirs

Throughout the territory amusement park Ferrari branded stores and boutiques have been installed. Here you can indulge in shopping with pleasure and buy excellent personal souvenirs for your whole family and friends.

Where can you eat?

Local cafes and restaurants offer authentic Italian cuisine and the best wines from this country that will satisfy any gourmet. Children's kitchens are also widely available, even for the little ones.

How to get to the park?

There are plenty of parking spots around Ferrari World, so tourists often come here by rented cars or taxis. In addition, Abu Dhabi has well-developed public transport, in particular bus service.

If you purchased a tour to this amusement park from a travel agency, then, as a rule, it already includes the delivery of tourists from the hotel to Ferrari World and back. However, such an excursion is limited in time.

Hi all! The other day my husband and I returned from a trip to the UAE, and now I want to tell our funny and, to some extent, cautionary story about visiting the Ferrari world park.

Ferrari World is a Ferrari theme park. It is located under a roof with an area of 200 thousand square meters. m and is the world's largest indoor theme park.

The park is located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi and includes extreme slides, attractions for children, quiz shows and a Ferrari museum.

Prices! How to save money?

While still at home, getting ready for our trip, we immediately decided that we would go to the Ferrari Park. Moreover, we purchased the book Book Dubai, which offers a 50% discount on visiting this park. That's a network instead of 590 dirhams for two we paid 295 dirhams for two ( that is, 2360 rubles per person) by purchasing bronze tickets.

At all prices to visit the park are as follows:

Bronze ticket– 295 dirhams.

Silver ticket– 370 dirhams (includes an additional 20 dirham coupon for the purchase of souvenirs and a fast access pass to skip-the-line attractions (3 uses)).

Golden ticket– AED 535 (includes an additional AED 30 voucher for souvenirs and an unlimited skip-the-line attraction pass).

You can also buy a ticket to visit 2 parks (Ferrari + Water park). Moreover, by purchasing tickets through the website in advance, you can save 10-15% of the cost.

Look entry tickets to the park like this:

They apply to absolutely all attractions except go-karting, driving a real Ferrari and simulating racing.

When best time to visit the park?

The park is open daily from 11 am to 8 pm. I advise you to go to the park on any day except Friday and Saturday, since there are many locals in the park on these days. If you arrive at the park when it opens, you can ride most of the rides without waiting in line.

How to get to Ferrari Park from Dubai?

1. Take the metro to Ibn Batuta station (about 30 minutes from Burj Khalifa station). Cost 7.5 dirhams.

2. Transfer to bus E101 (it says Abu Dhabi) and drive 1 hour to the Shahama stop. In our case, the driver himself announced a stop, but it’s better to mark it on your map on your phone and ask the driver to stop when you arrive. The bus fare is 25 dirhams. The fare is paid using the same transport card as the metro, they don’t take cash!

3. They are already standing at the station and waiting for a taxi. We sit in one of them and say that we don’t care about Ferrari World. All taxis there operate on a meter, the ride takes 7-10 minutes, the cost will be about 40 dirhams.

We go back a little differently:

1. We leave Ferrari World, go straight through the Abu Dhabi Mall shopping center, turn right. You should find the Tryano department. This is important because it is from this department that there is access to the bus stop.

2. We go to the Tryano department, go down the escalator, exit shopping center, and go right and then left, you will notice a bus stop with people standing at it.

3. We are waiting for the bus that goes to the Abu-Dabi Main bus station. In our case, the E180 bus arrived first, and we saw the destination inscription on it. To pay for this bus, you need an Abu Dubi Transport Card. We didn’t have it, the driver refused to take cash, saying that we would sort it out when we arrived at the station. In the end, we rode for free. We still didn’t understand where and with whom to deal, and after an hour on the bus through traffic jams and already dark streets, we had no time to search. In general, the fare is 2 dirhams.

4. We go into the station building, there will be a sign “Dubai”, we go out onto the platform and get on the bus going to Ibn Batuta. We also pay 25 dirhams.

5. In Dubai we get to the hotel by metro.

Fare. Is there a benefit?

In total, for all transportation costs for two, we ended up with 155 dirhams, that is, approximately 2,480 rubles. Taxi one way from Dubai to Abu Dhabi costs about the same. If you take an excursion from a tour operator or in a hotel/on the street, it will cost about 8 thousand rubles per person, but for everything (visiting the park and transport) we paid 7,200 rubles for two. The benefits are obvious!

When all the nuances are taken into account, I’ll move on to the story about the park itself.

When you buy a ticket, you are given a map of the park, which shows all the extreme rides, slides for children, shops, and food courts. toilets, etc.

I advise you to understand in advance which attractions you will go on so as not to waste time in the park. My review will be useful mainly for young people who travel without children or with children over 10-12 years old.

Formula Rossa

Naturally, the first thing we did was go to the coolest attraction in the Formula Rossa park. This attraction is included in the Guinness Book of Records as the fastest in the world, its speed is 240 km/h.

Fasten your seat belts, put on your racing goggles and get ready to hit 240 km/h in 4.9 seconds on the world's fastest roller coaster. Soaring to a height of 52 meters with an acceleration of 4.8 G and receiving a powerful adrenaline rush, you will cross the finish line feeling like a real Formula 1 champion from the Scuderia Ferrari team.

We rode it twice in the morning while there were no queues. In the middle of the day the queue for this attraction is about 40 minutes.

How does the attraction work? Before boarding the ride, you are given clear goggles so you can open your eyes at speed. You also need to hand over your phones, keys and small items to the locker (the locker is right in the queue for the attraction). They even have a "board of shame" or something on the wall that shows real broken phones, watches, bent jewelry.

Next, you sit down in the “race car” seat. It accelerates sharply in 4.9 seconds to maximum speed on a straight line, then slows down a little and then begins to ride like a roller coaster.

Advice : sit forward, then the sensations will be sharper! If you have long hair, it is better to braid it. I had a ponytail and after the first ride my hair got so tangled that it took me about 5 minutes to untangle it.

Feel : incredible adrenaline, cheeks swell, slams into the seat. After the ride you will be a little wobbly for the first 10 minutes.

Flying aces

Next we went on another attraction that broke 3 world records: the highest loop in the world (about the size of a 17-story building), the fastest hill climb (120 km/h) and the steepest hill climb (51 degrees) .

The "Air Aces" roller coaster, the creators of which were inspired by the exploits of the "ace among aces" - the legendary Italian pilot of the early twentieth century, Count Francesco Barraca, will give thrill-seekers many bright moments. Climb aboard your World War I military aircraft and prepare to fly a loop from 63 meters at a 51-degree angle. It should be noted that this is an impressive sight! Feel your heart pounding as you fly on a plane at 120 km/h.

How does the attraction work? You board the plane, the roller shutters open in front of you and you see that the roller coaster track is going up sharply. And not slowly, but at a decent speed. Then the descents, flips, side bends, twists, slides, jumps, etc. begin.

It looks like this:

Feel: Essentially, the slide should simulate flying on a biplane and you should feel what real aces feel. The slide itself is very long, 1.5 km. And in the middle of the journey I wanted it to end as soon as possible! We rode it 3 times, and now I understand that I don’t want to be an ace!

Advice: Also, hide your long hair in a braid, leave all valuables that could fly out on the slide in the storage room. If you want a sharper sensation, sit on the side seats, if you are afraid, sit on the middle ones. If you want to experience incredible adrenaline, sit in the side seats on the first plane!

Turbo Track

You see this slide as soon as you enter the park.

The impressive roller coaster rides are not limited to the park's indoor area. One swift dash - and you're over the legendary red roof!

How does the attraction work? You get into the trolley and they strap you in. It accelerates sharply and rises up to the very end of the rail, which breaks off, then you drive back down in the same way. The entire ride lasts about 8 seconds.

Feel :did not like. There was no adrenaline rush at all, although we were sitting in the first places. I didn't even scream. Although the squeals came from behind. We rode once and forgot about this attraction.

Advice: It’s better to go there at the beginning of the day, as there are about 16 seats in the trolley, which causes more queues to accumulate during the day.

Fiorano GT Challenge

This slide is a competition.

Experience the thrill of the race as you and your friends race through the winding parallel tracks of the Fiorano GT Race in a Ferrari F430 Spider. This ride is a scaled-down version of a real GT racing circuit, so be prepared for a mix of hairpin turns and straight-as-arrow sections where you can reach speeds of up to 95 km/h. Will you be able to outrun your opponents and cross the finish line first? Just like in a real race, there can only be one winner.

How does the attraction work? You board a trolley and move forward and upward on a typical roller coaster. The only difference is that there are no dead loops, and there is also another row of trolleys riding next to you on the adjacent track, and it seems that you are competing with them.

Feel: It’s fun, once was enough for us, it’s not scary.

This is where the extreme rides ended. Now another one with 2 dead loops is being built in the park, but it is unknown when it will be built.

Speed of Magic

Regular 4D attraction. It shakes you, twists you. You don’t even have to hold on; it’s impossible to fly out.

Embark on a magical 4D adventure through a fantasy land with Nello, a reckless Ferrari driver. He's going on an exciting journey to places no Ferrari has gone before, and he invites you to join him. Agree - you will have something to remember! Together with Nello you will descend into the depths of the ocean, take a risky flight over steep cliffs and visit mysterious ice caves. High-tech simulators reproduce movement, changes in temperature, humidity, light and shadows, creating the effect of complete presence.

Made in Maranello

A virtual excursion to the Ferrari plant, here you will be told about all stages of production. Interesting and educational.

All its stages will pass before your eyes, from the creation of the first sketches of the new model and the production of engine components, and ending with the painting of the body, manual assembly and testing on Ferrari's own ring race track - Fiorano.

Italian journey (Viaggio in Italy)

Traveling around Italy from a bird's eye view. You might get a little wet here!

Sit back, take yourself under the roof of this multi-sensory simulator and get ready for a breathtaking flight over Italy. The flight will follow the route of the famous Mille Miglia ("Thousand Miles") multi-day endurance race, in which GT cars took part. Mountains, picturesque villages, cities and vineyards of one of the most beautiful countries, which gave the world one of the most beautiful cars.

Bell'Italia attraction

This is a regular slow track with Ferrari cars. Here you can steer, or you don’t have to, the car drives itself. Along the way you will see all the sights of Italy. Suitable for the youngest visitors. I do not advise adults to waste time on this attraction.

Fast Lane

Quiz on knowledge of the history of Ferrari. In fact, ordinary English listening: they show you a video, and then ask you questions, you must click on the button with the correct answer. The buttons are located on the chair. Based on the results of each round, 4 winners are selected for the semi-finals, and the finalist receives a prize - a coupon to the Water Park.

Tire Change Show

Here you can try changing the wheels on a racing car for a while. You will compete with another team. It looks funny.

We didn't go to the other attractions because they were quite childish. Although there is also a ride in a real Ferrari for 695 dirhams, a go-kart for 65 dirhams and an imitation of bolide racing for 95 dirhams. So if you want, have some money ready.

I’m telling you as a traveler who read reviews on the internet and got there himself in a rented car, which means I went there to God knows where, without knowing English, with my wife and three summer child on hands.

The navigator indicated the exact road to the park parking lot, which is free.

You need to devote the whole day to this miracle! I'm not a Formula 1 fan and didn't become one after visiting the park, but this is a real miracle! Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. We decided to go there, despite the fact that we had heard a lot of negative reviews in Dubai, saying that there was nothing to do there, and besides, children under 110 cm tall are practically not allowed anywhere. One man purposefully dissuaded me from visiting the park; when I asked what he didn’t like, he said EVERYTHING!))) And when asked if he had ridden a roller coaster or an F1 simulator, he answered NO! Because of them, I just wanted to go, the man surprised me, to visit a Ferrari and not take a ride there?!)))

1

The park is quite large. We arrived at 11 and left at 20 o'clock. There are Russian-speaking staff at the ticket office and in the park who will explain everything in detail, as soon as you tell them that you need a “Russian cashier”. There are two types of tickets, skip the line costing 440 dirhams (1 dirham 9 rubles) and general admission 240 dirhams. But on some attractions, even with a premium ticket you can get into a queue of the same ones, but there are not so many of them.

A map of the park is given out at the checkout, ask where children are allowed, where there are the most queues and all the questions that interest you. Children under 3 years old are free. Bags are checked at the entrance; food is not allowed. The child was in a stroller and they let him in without any problems.

We first went to the F1 simulator, since you need to register there in advance (D) (hereinafter, in parentheses, I will indicate the number and letters indicated on the map).

Steering wheel in the F1 simulator.

Viz driving a simulator.

There is an original F1 car and, roughly speaking, a simple Ferrari car, the cost is 100 dirhams, the rest of the attractions have free entry and an unlimited number of rides on one at least 100 times, you just have to wait in line for a new one. At 11:30 the queue was at 14:00, we paid 200 dirhams for two and moved on. One thing was not taken into account, since no one warned and it is not written anywhere that if you are shorter than ~165 cm, then you will not be able to reach the pedals in the simulator))) My wife got into trouble, with a height of 160 cm she had to stick her head out from under steering wheel, then dive down to press the pedals, thereby not seeing the screen. If you are shorter than 165 cm, go not to F1, but to a simple car that is on the right.

It’s an interesting feeling, you race for 10 minutes, after which even your abs hurt from the shaking. My wife didn’t like it for the reasons stated above.

Around the paid simulator there are small, free analogues, for which there is also a queue and you need to sign up in advance. We took the coupons, but in the end we didn’t get to them.

There are a lot of different bells and whistles in the park: spinning cars, car bodies on the walls, a bunch of real Ferraris, various models showing the aerodynamics of the car, etc.

Then we just look around where to go and figure out on the map what is where. Impressions so far so-so. The time has come to leave my wife and child and go experience everything alone. I take the queue for the attraction (O). After standing for 20 minutes, the crowd went into a booth where they showed some kind of hat on TV, I think they arrived))) We are asked to go further, sit down and buckle up......and then it started) This is super))) I won’t describe the whole process, so that you yourself would like to visit there. My wife liked it too.

I get in line for the Ross formula (A), wait about 30 minutes, and here comes the long-awaited moment. The start and you are pressed into the seat, from which you cannot lift your head. Excellent impression, not so much for my wife.

The longest queue that I stood in was the cinema hall (T) ... about 40 minutes or so. On the map you can see three pillars in three rows, so these are the chairs in which they lift you up to the screen and you take part in the races! Great, we liked it. Half an hour later I passed by and there was not a single person in line.

On (Q and K) you ride in special trailers and look at the history of the creation of the car, etc. Let's say it's normal.

We didn’t ride on (G) because they just roll you around in round “wheels”, we didn’t waste time. The child was not allowed to go to (H,B,I).

Want to change a real wheel on an F1 car?

Then this attraction is for you (N). They give you a pneumatic wrench, with which you must unscrew the nut on the wheel, remove the old wheel and put the new one in and tighten it. First they show you how to do it, then you change it for a while! In front of me there was a girl who easily changed the tire, I think STRONGER!, but as it turned out later it was very easy.
