Iris-turs reviews. Iris-turs reviews Iris tour day trips Finland

We would like to talk about our trips to Finland with Iris-Tours and warn those wishing to see what to expect in the future. The first time we left on time, the guide was a normal, polite young girl. At the Black River they were waiting for those who were late. The trip went well, we didn’t waste any time at customs, we got back at 22

hours, but near the square. There were no places for the uprising, they parked right on Grechesky Ave. and from there they stomped onto the metro with heavy bags. The second trip was also a success in terms of time and rest, but I didn’t like the guide’s behavior. She was not too lazy to count the stamps of Finland and other countries in our passports and announced to the whole bus, in front of my husband, that I was deceiving him and had gone somewhere without him. They both laughed, because... complete nonsense, I was traveling on business, but hearing this was very unpleasant. The guide’s job is to collect passports and check visas, and not to meddle in other people’s lives and make silly jokes. We returned almost at midnight, barely caught the metro, and got off at Chernaya Rechka. The third time I had to call and cancel the trip because... my husband is sick. We left in a week. It turned out to be even worse - we chose a 2-hour trip, but lost the whole day, we drove very slowly (the guide said it was on principle, although the roads were empty), it took a long time to cross the borders, and we crawled back in traffic jams. We were unlucky with the guide that time; we came across an unkempt, unpleasant elderly woman with a sugary voice and a false smile, who was also hypocritical, curious and terribly ill-mannered. She told everyone where to stand and walk, stared at them point-blank, shepherded everyone as if in kindergarten, was always an eyesore, did not close her mouth for a minute, laughed loudly and a lot. By her “grace” we lost time stopping in Ogonkovo, she took everyone to a PAID toilet with a huge queue and to the store! This has never happened before) Very close, in Svetogorsk, at a gas station there is a toilet, free, chic, free. But the worst thing was that according to their rules, every 6th trip is free, but she charged us as usual, for two, although we showed a ticket with stamps. To the question, “why is this so?” she sweetly replied that we should deal with OUR company, where we booked the tour, and not with the one from which we were traveling (in fact, it is the same). We called the office, where we were strictly reprimanded like schoolchildren, because we supposedly refused last time (even after warning that we wouldn’t go!), but this time they didn’t warn us in advance that it was our 6th trip. The guide stood nearby and listened to the conversation, smiling sarcastically and impudently. As a result, they promised to count the next trip. Which one is next, with that attitude? We returned to the line at customs, the guide stood and laughed, looking at us point-blank. We walked away, then returned, she laughed again and told us to move away from some iron box on the wall and not make noise. At customs, both there and back, she forced everyone to sit on the bus and only allowed them to get off one at a time. Darkness! I have no desire to deal with this company anymore. Pros: Finland beautiful country. Relatively inexpensive. The products are excellent. Cons: 1. Unpleasant, nosy, ill-mannered, hypocritical guides who only want money. 2. You never know what time you will arrive back and whether you will be in time by metro.3. A 2 hour trip is absolutely pointless, because... takes all day. It’s better to go for the same money for 1 day and walk around the cities than to waste time in lines, waiting and on the road. 4. The second time we were taken back an hour later, but were not allowed to spend 15 minutes at the Imatra waterfall. But for these same 15 minutes. On the way back (!) we were taken to shops that were specially opened in the evening and 15 minutes later. closed until Mon! 5. The company is not interested in regular customers, the attitude towards people is terrible.
