Kupchino is a municipal district in the south of St. Petersburg. The most popular way to Pushkin is Railway. All electric trains departing from Vitebsky station (Pushkinskaya) follow to the Tsarskoye Selo platform. Travel time is about half an hour. These can also be boarded at the intermediate station "Kupchino" ("Kupchino"). In this case, the road to Tsarskoye Selo will take only 15 minutes.

From Tsarskoye Selo station to the main attractions of the city ( Catherine Palace, Lyceum, parks) can be reached on foot in about half an hour: they are located two kilometers from the station. At the Moskovskaya metro station, buses board at the stop near the House of Soviets building (exit towards Altayskaya Street). You can get to Tsarskoe Selo by minibuses No. 545, 287, 299, 347, 342 or bus No. 187. From the Kupchino metro station you can take minibuses No. 545A, 286, 287, 342, 347 (exit from the metro in side of Vitebsky Avenue). Since Pushkin is located within the city, the fare will be the same as on city routes.

Another way to Tsarskoe Selo is by electric trains in the Luzhsky direction, leaving from the Baltiysky station (Baltiyskaya metro station) and passing through the Leninsky Prospekt station (10-15 minute walk to Leninsky Prospekt). They can take you to railway station"Alexandrovskaya". Travel time from the Baltic Station is about half an hour. The station is located three kilometers from the main attractions of Tsarskoye Selo - you can walk to them through the Babolovsky and Aleksandrovsky parks or take buses 378 or 275 (the stop is located opposite the railway station).

If you want to turn the road into a little adventure, in the summer you can also get to Tsarskoye Selo on the miniature Malaya Oktyabrskaya Children's Railway, which runs from Molodezhnaya station (Kupchino metro station) to Tsarskoselskaya station. The children's railway operates only during summer holidays, on Wednesdays trains to Pushkin - from 15 to 19 hours, from Thursday to Sunday - from 10 to 19 hours. Train intervals are about an hour.

Kupchino – enough large area St. Petersburg. It was once divided into North and South, New and Old, but recently the division has become purely conditional.     • New and cozy cafe "Europe" in the very center of Pushkin, on the street. Srednyaya, no. 8, next to the souvenir area at Lyceum Lane, open every day from 11:00 to 00:00.
    • Quite popular among both tourists and local residents- Grand cafe "Flora" on the street. Orangereinaya, 2, located right next to the park, in historical building former royal greenhouse, facing Oranzhereynaya Street. The name corresponds to the interior of one of the 3 halls of the cafe, where the real greenhouse is located.
    • In the “Coffee to Go” format, there is a kiosk of the same name on Oranzhereynaya Street, 13, where you can buy a glass of inexpensive coffee on the road - standard, espresso, latte, Americano, cappuccino, mochaccino, etc.
    • In Pushkin, at the intersection of Moskovskaya and Orangereinaya streets, Gostiny Dvor is located; it is easily recognizable by its traditional arches; it is a local market where you can buy food and souvenirs.
    • A paid train runs from the main entrance to the park, which is very exciting and convenient, especially for visitors with children. The route of the locomotive runs through the Tsarskoye Selo State Museum-Reserve.
    • Some tourists complain about long lines at the box office during the “high season”, the high cost of tickets and other “torments” associated with visiting Tsarskoe Selo, as well as other museums in the city. I would like to note that soon all these “torments” turn into insignificant trifles in comparison with the pleasures received, in general, from seeing the most famous and wonderful sights of the glorious Pushkin.
