Choosing a suitable place for a holiday abroad depends only on your tastes and financial capabilities: all seaside resorts in Turkey will delight you with clear skies and warm seas.

Have you vacationed in all corners of the Mediterranean coast of Turkey? I liked everything, but I don’t like to relax in the same place twice, and my budget is limited...

Pay attention to the beaches of the Aegean and Marmara seas: it is possible that they will leave even more pleasant impressions!

If you cringe at the sight of beaches covered with tourists like soil in parks during leaf fall, choose these truly wonderful beach places, which for some reason are not very popular among Russian tourists.

Balıkesir Gönen, Çekirge and Yalova are famous thermal springs on the coast of the Sea of Marmara. Here you can not only have a great rest, but also improve your health. The resorts of Marmaris and Bodrum on the Aegean coast are known for their magnificent sandy beaches and excellent service.

The sun will shine everywhere, and temperatures will be slightly different. During the day the air warms up to 30 - 33 and above, the water in the sea: 25 - 27.

Cost of a seven-night tour for two: from $550.

Citizens of the Russian Federation do not require a visa.

Spain

Spain is perfect for relaxing on the beach abroad (except during the midday hours, of course), but dreams of visiting numerous historical attractions and architectural monuments are unlikely to be realized.

Moreover: the southern beaches, located on the Iberian Peninsula, are not recommended for people with cardiovascular diseases. But the Balearic Islands and Barcelona are more hospitable: there is no such heat in the middle of summer.

The air in these resorts warms up to 30 and above during the day, and the water in the sea exceeds 25. The Canary Islands will greet you with quite comfortable air temperatures, which during the day are 26 -27 and invigorating water in the sea, 22 - 23.

It will cost you two to fly for a week: from 800 €.

Russians need a visa to visit Spain.

Italy

The heat also comes to the Apennine Peninsula, so the resorts of northern Italy or the islands will be the best choice if you can hardly stand the scorching sun. Well, if the heat is what you’ve been dreaming about all year, choose a place to suit your taste.

The temperature difference between the “north” and “south” is about 4 - 5. The daytime air temperature in the northern provinces is 28 - 30.

The warmest sea is on the Mediterranean coast, which warms up to 26. The coolest water is observed in the resorts of the Tyrrhenian and Ligurian seas: 23 - 24.

Helpful advice: if you definitely want to go on vacation in Italy in July, but don’t want to pay where you can save money, come at the very beginning of the month. The fact is that public beaches turn into paid beaches during the peak season, which begins at the end of July.

Beach holidays in July on the Italian coast start from 750 €.

To sunbathe on the beaches of Italy, you will need a visa.

Greece

Peak season also begins here. An ideal option for those who do not want to be roasted to the point of roast beef, in which there are still a few drops of blood left - islands where the sea breeze “blows away” the heat a little.

Frankly speaking, it is unlikely that you will be able to fulfill your dream of a cultural program, even if you can handle the heat just fine. After noon and almost until the evening, one inevitably falls asleep: plans that involve any physical movement outside the hotel or even the room collapse.

But the holiday of the stomach begins: a variety of delicious fruits ripen. In general, midsummer in Greece is a great beach holiday.

The air temperature during the day varies depending on the region and is 30 - 33, the waters of all seas warm up to a pleasant 25 - 26.

A tour package to Greece for July for 2 people costs: from 650 €.

By the way, take care of a visa, since Russian tourists have to apply for one.

Bulgaria

July is the best month for a holiday in Bulgaria. Stupefying heat is a rare occurrence here: if you cannot tolerate temperatures above 30, choose Bulgarian resorts. Take a closer look at this country, tested by Soviet tourists, if your budget is somewhat limited.

Bulgaria will delight you not only with beautiful beaches with amazingly beautiful sand, but also with good service and reasonable prices.

Daytime air temperature: 28 - 29, sea water temperature: 24 - 25. In northern resorts it may be somewhat cooler.

A package tour for two will cost you: from 550 €.

A visa for a holiday in Bulgaria is required for Russians.

Malta

A wonderful little country located on the islands of the Maltese archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. For some reason, it does not often attract the attention of Russian tourists.

If you have visited many popular resorts in all the top “beach” European countries and are wondering where to go, take a closer look at Malta. Despite the proximity to the coast of Africa, the daytime air temperature extremely rarely rises above 32 - thanks to the refreshing sea breeze.

The weather will allow you to see the most interesting Maltese sights, of which there are a great many. Of course, you will have to go on excursions early, since during the day the sun still begins to get hot.

Holidays on the islands are beyond praise: the water is clean, the beaches are perfectly maintained, and all sorts of unpleasant animals like jellyfish are not found here. Sea water temperature: 25 and above.

There is not much to say about the quality of services: excellent service!

Therefore, prices for tours to Malta in July start from 1350 €.

Our holidaymakers need a visa to visit Malta.

Distant distances beckon, Europe is not included in this list, and you are looking for an answer to the question: “where to relax in July 2018” in Southeast Asian countries?

Indonesia

Yes, the middle of the summer season is the best time to relax on the amazing islands of Indonesia, and primarily in Bali. It is located south of the equator, so July is the driest and coolest month of the year.

However, it is considered cool only in relative numerical values: the air cools down to 30 - 32. The minimum number of rainy days will allow you to travel around the wonderful island and see many interesting places.

Are excursions always inferior to beach “doing nothing” in your vacation program?

The water temperature, which is around 27, will allow you to fully enjoy the magnificent beaches of Bali. Well, if you have long wanted to join surfing, choose Bali without hesitation. It's home to some of the best surf spots in Southeast Asia, and summer is the perfect time to catch a wave.

Cost of a ten-night tour for two: from $1,900.

To fly to Indonesia on vacation you will need a visa.

Where to go on vacation in July 2018 in Russia?

If you cannot leave Russia, there is no need to worry: peak summer begins the peak season at the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea - relax in Russia.

The demand for tours, tickets and hotel rooms is growing every day, so it is advisable to take care of your vacation in advance, two or three months in advance.

The Black Sea really attracts our tourists to sunbathe not on their hacienda, but on the sandy shores of Sochi, Anapa and Lazarevskoye, Gelendzhik.

Where is the best place to relax with a child?

When there are small children in the family, the choice of place to relax is determined by the availability of children's entertainment, a gentle approach to the sea and suitable food.

European beaches lead the list of places aimed at families with children.

  • Türkiye,
  • Tunisia,
  • Israel,
  • Bulgaria.

However, Russian resorts are only slightly inferior to them! And it’s great for children to live on the Black Sea coast. And boulders and pebbles are no obstacle to them. And what is most important to us parents is the smile of our daughter and son, a joyful and happy look and a healthy mind and body.

So, if you want to go on vacation in July with children inexpensively and safely, maybe Crimea or the Black Sea resorts will suit you. Take a closer look, but hurry. Time is running out!

During peak season, your vacation destination depends on your budget and weather requirements.

Sunny and hot Cyprus

Cyprus is located south of Turkey, so the weather here in July is even hotter. The saving grace is that the island is better blown by the winds and the sun is not felt so strongly. Here tourists will find a large selection of hotels and a high level of service in them. Conditions for those who like to spend time on the beach and in the hotel bar are practically ideal. And the excursion part of the program leaves much to be desired.

Distinctive Croatia for romantics

Croatian resorts are in demand among couples and tourists who love to discover new places, but prefer to travel without children. The crystal clear Adriatic Sea provides tourists with ideal conditions for swimming, but the quality of the beaches is seriously inferior to its competitors along the coast - Italy. Most of them are narrow and pebble, which creates additional difficulties on vacation with children, but the sea is incredibly clean even at great depths.

There are quite a lot of castles, islands, and small attractions here, but only Plitvice Lakes and Dubrovnik can be singled out separately. From the northern resorts you can drive to Venice in 4 hours.

A holiday paradise in Tenerife

By the third decade of the month, the ocean washing the shores of Tenerife finally warms up. In July, even in the south of the island the temperature is usually no higher than 31º, and the cool breeze from the ocean creates comfortable weather conditions. Therefore, experienced tourists who value comfort on the street and a rich selection of entertainment and excursions are very fond of spending their holidays in Costa Adeje.

You will find unique landscapes, a volcano and a car route through the plateau, a killer whale show, the best water park in the world and many others. There is only one minus - the fairly high cost of package tours, because of which this destination is considered exotic for many. But if you get there on your own, then it’s quite possible to rent an apartment on your own in the southern resorts.

Why you should fly to Bali in midsummer

July and August are the peak weather months in Bali and other Indonesian resorts. At this time there is practically no rain here and it is not as hot and humid as in winter. In the evening you may even need a sweater and jeans. Warm sea, lack of rain, abundance of not hot sun - this is why most tourists come to the island. In this regard, there may be problems with finding housing. Air and water are approximately the same temperature +27..+28 degrees. By and large, for local residents it’s winter, but for Indonesians it’s cold – for our climate zone the weather is the most comfortable.

Cuba in July is comfortable and interesting!

Cuba is famous for its snow-white beaches, very warm sea and clear water. July is not considered the peak tourist season here. The reason is hot and fairly high humidity, which knocks you off your feet immediately upon arrival. Rains occur almost every day, but they are short-lived and powerful in nature. The rest of the time the weather is sunny and very hot, which Russian tourists love very much. Unlike other exotic destinations in Cuba, you will not find the rainy season and cloudy skies. But there is amazingly beautiful nature and excursions here, but visiting the latter in the middle of summer is not as comfortable as in the spring.

It is better to choose Trinidad or Varavero as resorts. It's not so hot, less humid, and therefore more comfortable!

Maldives - heavenly conditions in the rain

The Maldives are usually still of interest to wealthy romantics who have already seen half the world and the main requirement for a vacation is complete solitude. Getting lost on one of the 26 atolls in the Indian Ocean is easy. Due to its close location to the equator, weather fluctuations throughout the years are insignificant. But summer is the wet season in the Maldives. There is no need to expect any rainy season, prolonged rains or storms. But the likelihood that you will experience a couple of very heavy downpours during your vacation is quite high. For the same reason, visibility under water is deteriorating, so diving will no longer be much fun. And there is so little entertainment on the islands.

Mexico - visit the Aztecs

According to popular belief, the best time to travel to Mexico is from November to May. But the weather crisis, which occurs in September-October, is still far away. Therefore, in July it is quite possible to go on vacation to Mexican resorts. Of course, you should be prepared that a couple of days will be rainy and cloudy, but you are guaranteed to have a warm ocean (+29°) and quite hot weather. Unlike many other purely exotic beach destinations, Mexico is famous for its incredibly interesting and unusual excursion program that will brighten up any rainy day. Moreover, the rains here are very rarely prolonged.

July is the second summer month. And it is this month that there is a huge demand for trips to the sea. It is in July that mothers and fathers take a vacation and go to the sea with their children. Have you already decided where to go on vacation in July 2019 with your child at sea to make it safe and fun? We have several options to help you decide on your choice. Take a look and book your tour in advance. After all, at this time of year it is difficult to get cheap tickets, and sometimes simply unrealistic.

Crete Island, Greece
When you want to relax with your child, first of all you need a place where it will be hot, there will be no rain and there will be sand on the beach. And Crete is just such a place!

The island of Crete is not just an island in the sea, it is a tourist island, where everything is done to make your vacation truly paradise.
There are thousands of luxury hotels where you can stay with children. Many hotels offer special entertainment programs for children. These hotels have children's pools, water slides and even water parks! It’s magical to vacation in Crete with children!

The local sandy beaches are so nice and clean that you are sometimes amazed when the staff manages to clean everything up.
It is in July that the weather is hot here, there is no rain and the sun shines all day. Children will love this weather and will be happy to be near the water all day.

Bulgaria - golden sands.
Bulgaria has always been considered the best place to holiday with children. And now this is what is considered.

The country's resorts have everything to make your children and you have a comfortable and convenient vacation. Local beaches offer small boats for rent so you can ride on the sea.
Hotels that have their own beach make the entrance to the water so that there are no cliffs. And children can safely enter the water without fear of falling through or being carried away by the current.
The hotels also offer entertainment for children. Many hotels have their own animators who entertain children from morning to evening while parents have lunch, relax or walk around the city.

There are many children's water slides and water parks on the Bulgarian coast. Here children also spend a lot of their time and have fun.
The temperature in July in Bulgaria is simply gorgeous +25 degrees. There is no heat here, no strong winds and everything is stable. Even people with heart disease and blood pressure can endure this weather. Therefore, everyone who wants to relax calmly and comfortably comes here.

Italy - luxury resorts
Italy also has wonderful resorts and beaches for families with children.

In the middle of summer the weather here is gorgeous. The air temperature is above +27 degrees. The sea reaches +25 degrees. You will be on the beach all day and enjoy the sea.
There are a lot of tourists here at this time of year, but the hotels are not packed to capacity. Italy is a tourist country, and there are many hotels. Therefore, you can easily book your room and enjoy your vacation.
There are many hotels in the country that operate on a family basis. These hotels have large beds, children's beds and sofas. There is a kitchen and a bathroom. For children there is a TV with children's channels and the ability to watch cartoons in their language via the Internet.
Hotels also have their own swimming pools with a children's area. Every resort has water slides, and children will go crazy for such entertainment.
But Italy differs from Crete and Bulgaria in price. After all, in Italy life is more expensive and prices are higher. That's why tourists don't rush here in such a hurry. Usually those who have already had their fill of cheaper resorts vacation here. But believe me, if you choose Italy, your child will remember this vacation for the rest of his life.

It is not at all necessary to fly abroad to have a good rest. Our huge country offers a number of beautiful places for a quality vacation - mountains, seas, and forests - as they say, “I don’t want to take it.” But everyone forgets something about our picturesque places when a last-minute trip to Turkey looms before their noses.

This is how it turns out that he has explored all the foreign resorts, wandered around Europe, vacationed on the Pacific islands, but has only seen Baikal in pictures, and knows little about the Caspian Sea at all.

In general, my dear compatriots, quickly pay attention to the vastness of our country. And it’s better in the summer, when it’s warmer, sunny, when the birds sing and the soul rejoices. And everything looks prettier, well, you know what our “fields and meadows” look like in the cold autumn and the flowing spring. For example, in July. A great month to explore your native lands.

In July, the weather in Russia is different everywhere – it’s a no brainer. Somewhere in the second month of summer it is already very hot, somewhere it’s just warm, somewhere it’s even somehow chilly. Still, it would be very difficult to describe the weather in Russia - the territory is too large.

For those who do not live in the capital, or even nearby, and have never been there, the doctor ordered them to pack their bags and go to conquer. However, you are unlikely to conquer it in a week, but you will see enough beautiful things. Moscow looks very festive in summer (again, not everywhere) - gentle sunshine, trees, lawns and flower beds, people on rollerblades and bicycles cutting through, everyone is in a great mood. And at this time it is dry and hot here: during the day + 25-26 ° C (sometimes + 33-35 ° C!), and at night, as necessary - + 10 ° C, maybe + 20 ° C. The weather in the capital is very unpredictable and different every year - it can be hotter both at the beginning and at the end of the month. By the way, in July there may be rain - but not much, 5 times in just a month, and even then, the rains are warm and somehow romantic (acidic in some places. Just kidding!).

You can also go to this eternally gray city, at least in the summer which looks a little more positive (although there is not much difference). In July it is cooler there than in Moscow - during the day about +22-23°C (sometimes it warms up to +30°C, but rarely), and at night from +12°C to +20°C. In any case, in the sun it will seem to you that it is very warm outside, walking at night is also very pleasant (you just want to throw on a blouse), however, there may be rains, and there may be even more of them than in the fall. But in reality this is not scary either. By the way, in July, an amazing natural phenomenon of this strip ends - “white nights”, a symbol of the city, which lasts from June 11 to July 10.

If you have already been to the two capitals more than once, and don’t find anything like that on your trips there, then I will recommend you an unusual trip. For example, to the Kola Peninsula. So what! The places there are simply amazing. The cities, of course, are not “nice and cozy”, but what rivers, lakes, hilltops, endless expanses of the Barents and White Seas... This is why it’s worth traveling a long (and for some, short) journey. Just don't expect hot weather. In the Murmansk region in July it is only +17-18 degrees, with rare “gifts” in the form of +28°C, and at night you can’t walk there in flip-flops, as you can easily catch a cold: sometimes it can be +5-6° C. In general, it is even more difficult to talk about the weather in this area, because... It’s very unpredictable there, but at least in July it’s not so severe.

If such prospects do not appeal to you - to freeze, but to take a well-deserved vacation - but you are keenly interested in the history of Russia and its rich heritage, then a trip to Golden Ring will fit perfectly. If you don’t know what it is and what it comes with, then I’ll explain: The Golden Ring of Russia is a tourist route that includes several ancient Russian cities with their unique historical and cultural monuments (Sergiev Posad, Rostov the Great, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Ivanovo, Suzdal and Vladimir and others). Of course, in these parts it can be too hot in July, but, gentlemen, we are not in the desert, and you can always hide in the shade of the trees if the top of your head is too hot. Since we are talking about several cities, it is too difficult to talk about the weather. But the average temperature in July in this band is +25-26°C, but it can be cooler (up to 17-18 degrees), and it can be very hot (up to +32-33°C).

Today, travel companies are actively promoting trips to Karelia. And for good reason! Karelia is a real miracle and a uniquely beautiful region with noisy rivers, fluffy fragrant pines, crystal lakes and waterfalls - you can write long and colorfully about the landscapes of the Karelian region. It is very useful to go there in July, because the area itself is cool, and in the second month of summer it will be more comfortable to spend the night in tents or rafting down rivers (if you have chosen this type of trip). If you look at the numbers, then in the region in July the average is +21-22°C, while in the sun the air can warm up to +29-30°C, but the nights can be completely chilly (up to +10°C).

And yet, hikes are hikes, but I want to go to the sea. We have a lot of seas, but we want to go to the southern ones. For example, to the Caspian. Where . Many do not take these regions into account, preferring the resorts of the Black Sea region. But in vain, because the Astrakhan region is an incredible expanse of water, lakes, old churches, excellent fishing, in the end. And in July it’s a good time to go here, because in July the lotuses for which this region is so famous begin to bloom.
During the day in the Astrakhan region in July it is hot, on average +33-35°C, and in the sun it can be even hotter, up to +38-40°C. There is practically no rain in July, there is a lot of sunshine - beautiful! And the nights here are pleasant and warm, +23…+26°С. If you are staying specifically in Astrakhan, then there will be problems with swimming in the Caspian Sea. Oddly enough, there are absolutely no normal beaches here, even on local rivers. Therefore, everyone goes to the much more comfortable beaches of neighboring Dagestan or Kazakhstan, although the path is not particularly close.

Since we mentioned it Black Sea, then we’ll talk about these regions. It is in July that people begin to actively pack their belongings and head to Gelendzhik, Anapa and Sochi. Perhaps, in terms of service, the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory are slightly inferior to Turkish and Egyptian cities, but you can still have a very cool holiday there! Naturally, the weather depends on the location of the resort - after all, the seashore is long! In Anapa, the average daytime temperature is about +28°C; in Sochi, which is located further south and where the climate is more humid, the average day is a couple of degrees hotter both day and night. And the water in the sea in July is already warming up quite well, although it is not the warmest of the whole year. On average, the sea temperature this month is +25-27°C, while the water becomes warmer towards the last week of July, and the waters also become noticeably warmer when moving south.

Sea of Azov It’s a little less popular among our tourists, because it’s much shallower – but it’s great to go there with kids, especially since by July the water in the sea warms up very well.

And in the Krasnodar region there are a lot of beautiful places - caves, waterfalls, mountain gorges, dolmens - in addition to a beach holiday, at this time you can go on excursions and learn a lot of new and interesting things.

IN Stavropol region, where a number of mineral water resorts are located, is also very cool to visit in July. There is clean mountain air, gorgeous views, healing mud, in short, if you have exhausted your body over the course of a year - no foreign resorts: urgently seek treatment in the Stavropol Territory! In the mountainous region it is always a little cooler than on the coast, but you won’t be very cold here either.

Mountain republics of Russia - Dagestan, Adygea, Karachay-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria, North Ossetia– this is also a great destination for your next vacation! Don’t underestimate these places: there really are a lot of interesting, tasty, beautiful things there. There are also amazing ancient sights there. What is it worth - the oldest city in Russia and one of the oldest “living” cities in the world. The weather in different areas of this area is different, and plus conditions can vary depending on the altitude at which the city stands. But in general, July in these regions is not bad - on average +25-26°C during the day (sometimes much warmer, over +30 degrees).

It should also be noted Baikal. The pearl of Russia, the diamond of Eastern Siberia, the deepest lake on the planet! Just think! At least once in their life, every resident of our country simply must visit there. It’s just a pity that by mid-summer the water in Baikal may become a little cloudy, but still, the views are amazing! But swimming in Baikal is always chilly. But all the same, with a tent, on the shore of Lake Baikal, by the fire - oh, how great! The weather there, of course, is unpredictable, but in July it is quite warm near the shores of the lake, on average +27-28°C (and sometimes up to +35°C), but at night you want to warm yourself, as it can be very cold - up to +10 °C.

Thus, there really are an incredible number of beautiful places in Russia. And a lifetime is not enough to explore Russia to the end. So maybe we should start now?

Summer is in full swing, which means the most interesting time has come, and it’s time to go on a trip. In July, you can relax almost anywhere, well, maybe you should exclude a few countries where the combination of heat and high humidity will not bring pleasure.

The main list of countries and tourist destinations in July is not much different from the June one, which can be found in the article “”.

I don’t want to repeat myself and will dwell in more detail only on some of the destinations that, according to experts from the travel industry and analysts from well-known travel websites, have aroused increased interest among Russians this summer.

As always, July is mainly a beach holiday. Voted for it (according to VTsIOM) - 38%, 25% of Russians want to improve their cultural level, learn new places and attractions, improve their health in sanatoriums - 21%, and just go around the expanses of their homeland and abroad with a backpack - 17%.

As for children's holidays: this summer, 12% of the surveyed parents plan to send their children on holiday to children's camps, to the dacha - 17%, to the Black Sea - 12%, on hikes - 2%, to other places - 9%, for milestone – 7%. But, unfortunately, a lot of children will remain at home - 37%.

Contrary to tradition, when we mainly considered holiday options abroad, today we will talk about holidays in July with children at Russian beach resorts and, above all, resorts on the Black Sea coast and Crimea, as well as in other cities of our country.

So, what to choose: resorts in Kuban, Crimea or holidays abroad?

Whatever the reasons, the number of Russians wishing to visit Crimea this summer has increased significantly. Attempts to compare Sochi and Crimea in terms of the number of people wishing to relax in them and presenting them as two competing tourist destinations are hardly advisable.

Many Russian resorts on the Black Sea coast and the Sea of Azov with wonderful beaches are attractive for children's holidays. The following arguments are put forward in favor of Crimea: cleaner sea, beautiful nature, historical sights and, for now, lower prices.

The advantages of Sochi are a calmer political situation, developed tourist infrastructure, easier access to resorts, and many are attracted by the new Olympic venues.

If we compare, for example, with the most popular destination for summer holidays with children - with Turkey in terms of price-quality ratio, then this comparison is not yet in favor of the Russian resort.

The difficulty is that there are still very few package offers in Crimea. And by paying separately for accommodation, transfer and flights (even if air travel is cheap, which is not always possible), the cost of the tour turns out to be the same as to Turkey, and sometimes even more expensive. Unfortunately, most of the cost of the holiday is still consumed by travel.

But not everything is so gloomy. Experts assure that Crimea has good tourism potential: a unique healing climate, a large number of beaches (560) and their great length (more than 500 kilometers), the most interesting history of the peninsula, and the absence of problems with paperwork for departure. And over time, this resort region will be able to compete with Turkey, Egypt and other resorts abroad.

Where to relax with children in Crimea?

This summer, a lot of attention is being paid to organizing children's recreation in Crimean camps. The website of the Government of the Russian Federation reports that during the summer in Crimea, more than 33 thousand children will be able to improve their health and relax at the expense of budget funds.

Holidays in the best new generation children's camps in Crimea, part of the Terra Unique network of development camps: “Mandarin” and “I&Camp” (resort village Peschanoye 60 km from Sevastopol and 65 kilometers from Simferopol airport) and “Kakadu” (Evpatoria) - attracts those who like to relax creatively, brightly and comfortably.

The conditions in these modern camps are approximately the same: 5 meals a day, rooms with amenities, well-maintained good beaches, a swimming pool, water slides. You can send your child on vacation for any number of days you need. The average price per day (food and accommodation) ranges from 1000 to 3200 rubles.

Approximate prices per shift (17 days) in some popular children's camps (excluding travel costs):

  • “Mandarin” and “I&Camp” (Peschanoe village) – 36-43 thousand rubles
  • “Cartoon” (Peschanoe village) – 28-36 thousand rubles
  • “Kakadu” (Zaozernoye village, Evpatoria) – 30-37 thousand rubles
  • “Crystal” (Alushta) – 25 thousand rubles
  • “Artek” (Gurzuf village) – 21-48 thousand rubles.

The most expensive trips are in July.

You can have a good rest by traveling with the whole family through the cities of Crimea or by staying by the sea at one of its resorts, some of which are among the top thirty beach places in Russia. According to the rating of the cost of summer holidays conducted by the website Travel.ru, these are Feodosia (known for its wonderful sandy beaches), Evpatoria (a resort for families with children of any age), Sevastopol, Yalta, Sudak and Gurzuf.

The "excursion" in Crimea is also extremely interesting for both adults and children: the palaces of Livadia and Alupka, Bakhchisarai and Massandra, Nikitsky Botanical Garden, Swallow's Nest, monuments of Sevastopol, canyons, bays and waterfalls.

And if you add to this the Yalta water park "Blue Bay" and the zoo "Fairy Tale", in Evpatoria - "Dinopark", "Tropic Park", the tram "Milk Sea" (village tram), "Clown House", "Dolphinarium", the most a large water park in Crimea - "Banana Republic Aquaparkos", in Feodosia - the Karadag Dolphinarium, in Sevastopol - the Zurbagan water park, a dolphinarium and the Sevastopol Aquarium, in Kerch - an ostrich farm - your children will be happy from such an abundance of interesting entertainment.

And one more feature of the current summer season, which makes holidays in Crimea profitable, is that tempting special offers have been created for tourists, discounts on air tickets, new interesting tourist routes are being developed, and all-inclusive offers have begun to appear more and more often.

The bulk of tourists (65%) used to come by car or train. Now, as an alternative, holidaymakers are offered ferry and air services.

The most convenient and fastest plane is undoubtedly. From June 1 to October 31, 2014, flights from Russian cities (there are already 33 of them today) to Simferopol will be operated at a good discount and at a special fare. And straight from the airport, comfortable buses will take tourists anywhere: to Sevastopol, Yalta, Evpatoria or Feodosia.

True, it is no longer possible to buy a ticket for two, three, four thousand now, because cheap tickets were sold out at the end of May.

The emergence of a Russian low-cost airline has increased the chances of having an inexpensive vacation in Crimea. Naturally, the cheapest tickets (from 999 rubles one way) have long been sold out, and the fewer days remain until the end of the summer season (flights will operate until September 20), the more rapidly the number of tickets with good fares decreases.

Ferries and high-speed catamarans Sochi-1 and Sochi-2, which deliver tourists along the route Anapa - Kerch" and "port Caucasus - Kerch". The cost of travel on a catamaran is, of course, more expensive than on a ferry (instead of 162 rubles - 1000 rubles), but it is faster and there are fewer queues (however, you cannot cross on a catamaran with a car).

And from June 1, high-speed catamarans entered the route Anapa - Feodosia - Yalta. You can get from Anapa to Yalta in 6.5 hours and in 3 hours from Anapa to Feodosia. Ticket prices: Anapa – Yalta – 2.7 thousand rubles, Anapa – Feodosia – 1.5 thousand rubles, Feodosia – Yalta – 1.2 thousand rubles. Children under 6 years old can travel for free, and children from 6 to 12 years old can travel for half the price of an adult ticket.

The operating schedule of ferries and catamarans can be found on the website of the Unified Transport Directorate.

Resorts of the Krasnodar region

Among the resorts in the Krasnodar Territory, Anapa and Gelendzhik are traditionally in greatest demand for families with children.

This year, new facilities and new opportunities that have appeared in Sochi after the Olympics are very attractive to vacationers.

The number of hotel complexes has increased and, accordingly, the number of rooms of varying degrees of comfort and price: from inexpensive 3* hotels to luxury “fives”. For a family holiday you can rent an apartment.

Accordingly, the price range is large. You can stay for 300-500 rubles a day in a mini-hotel, or you can, for example, for 8 thousand rubles a day in a 5* hotel.

In addition, the popular all-inclusive holiday format is now increasingly found in Sochi hotels.

Sochi novelties

The Imeretinsky resort area, built around the Sochi Olympic Park, is new this summer season. 3-5* hotels provide quality service and comfortable conditions, animation, and spa centers. On the territory of the resort there is a new long embankment and a wide pebble beach.

And next to the Olympic Park there is the recently opened Sochi Park theme park, which all guests of the city and, first of all, children simply must visit.

Right on the territory of the amusement park is the Bogatyr Hotel, stylized as a medieval castle and decorated with fabulous interiors, which opened at the end of June.

The hotel accepts children of any age; the approximate cost of accommodation with breakfast for 1 person is from 3,450 rubles per day.

New opportunities have appeared for those living in luxury hotels in Krasnaya Polyana, built for winter holidays. The summer season started here in June. This means a good holiday at lower prices, visiting cable cars, walking along picturesque mountain paths, and having fun in water parks.

And for those who are accustomed to active recreation, the resort offers mountain and city bike rentals, horseback riding, health tourist routes, physical education programs for adults and children, and fun and healthy sports games.

In July you can take part in the excursion “Evening Sochi. Olympic Park" and visit the Fisht stadium, where the colorful opening of the Olympics and its no less colorful closing took place. You can get to Krasnaya Polyana from Adler for just 112 rubles on the Lastochka high-speed train.

Transport accessibility is another advantage of Krasnodar resorts. Very quickly and conveniently you can get to Gelendzhik, Sochi (2 hours from Moscow and 3 hours from St. Petersburg), Anapa and Krasnodar by plane. Ticket prices (July prices) from Moscow to Sochi - from 10,574 rubles (round trip), from St. Petersburg - from 12,055 rubles per person.

You can also get there by train, bus, car or sea.

Anapa has all the conditions for an ideal children's holiday (within the city there are a large number of children's health facilities, plenty of entertainment, absence of sweltering heat, comfortable water temperature and affordable prices).

Among the children's camps, “Orlyonok” (Tuapse district of the Krasnodar Territory) attracts the attention of parents. Accommodation there, according to experts, for a shift (21 days) will cost from 45 to 65 thousand rubles, plus the cost of a ticket to Tuapse from Moscow (9500-9900 rubles).

I wrote more about the resorts of the Krasnodar region in one of the previous articles.

And, of course, in addition to the famous and beloved resorts of the South of Russia, there are other places for beach holidays in our country.

Resorts and beaches of the Baltic Sea

Zelenogradsk

This ancient seaside resort (once a royal resort) on the Baltic Sea is located 30 kilometers from Kaliningrad at the very beginning of the Curonian Spit. The height of the swimming season falls right in mid-July (the water temperature at this time is +20°C).

The water warms up quickly, a flat, gently sloping bottom, golden beaches, a mild climate, its own mineral springs, sea air saturated with minerals and iodine, healthy mud, the absence of heat and sudden changes in time zones and climate - all this makes holidays with children in Zelenogradsk useful and healthy.

Curonian Spit

This is a sandy peninsula that stretches 98 kilometers in length from Zelenogradsk to Lithuanian Klaipeda. The spit separates the fresh water Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea and is a unique national park with pine, spruce and deciduous forests, sand dunes and flowering meadows.

And the main thing why tourists love this resort is its long, clean sandy beaches.

Svetlogorsk

Another famous resort on the Baltic Sea with snow-white sandy beaches, where residents and guests of the city relax all summer.

If you're lucky, on the beaches you can find pieces of sunny amber, which this summer, due to strong winds, washed ashore in large quantities by the waves.

And one more good news: the repair of the funicular has been completed (it hasn’t worked for several years), with the help of which tourists can go down to the city beach directly from the train station for 25 rubles.

In the Kaliningrad region, more than 250 hotels, recreation centers, hotels and sanatoriums, including 17 children's health camps, have been prepared to accommodate guests.

Lake beaches of Karelia

Residents of big cities, especially metropolitan regions, love to relax in these beautiful places. The best time to visit Karelia is June-September. There are a lot of rivers and about 60 lakes. In June you can see white nights, and in July you can already swim.

In addition, in Karelia you will find amazing nature, nature reserves and arboretums, the Valaam Monastery, Kizhi on Lake Onega, the Solovetsky Islands, Kem.

Of course, it’s hardly worth going here with small children. But older children will certainly appreciate outdoor activities full of adventure. Or you can simply live for a couple of weeks in a wooden house on the shore of one of the forest lakes.

You can get from Moscow to Petrozavodsk in an hour and a half by plane, or you can get there from St. Petersburg by car (you can rent a car).

Baikal

Summer is the best time to travel to Lake Baikal, although in summer the water in the lake rarely warms up to +23°C. At the same time, there are good sandy beaches.

Most of the hotels, museums, and restaurants are located on the shore of the lake in the village of Listvyanka. From here you can go on excursions to a shamanic place - Olkhon Island, Mount Shamanka, visit caves with preserved rock paintings, or visit the Baikal Zoo and seal nursery in the village itself.

Lake Seliger

The picturesque lake, which is also a popular Central Russian resort, is located on the territory of the Novgorod and Tver regions. The best time for a beach holiday is July and August, and the best places - clean beaches and untouched nature with a unique landscape are located on the shore of the lake in the city of Ostashkov.

Many people combine a beach holiday with a visit to ancient Russian cities (Torzhok, Tver, Kashin).

Astrakhan region

Active recreation on the water, wonderful fishing and interesting excursion programs attract many tourists to the Astrakhan region.

For those who are not indifferent to the beauty of these steppe places, a new tourist route “Steppe Ring” has been developed, which unites the sights of Volgograd, Astrakhan and Rostov.

In one trip, tourists will visit Pavlov's House, the Battle of Stalingrad Panorama Museum in Volgograd, get acquainted with the sights in Rostov-on-Don, visit Sarai-Bata and lotus fields in the Astrakhan region.

Where else can you visit with children in July?

According to the Oktogo.ru service (the selection was made by the number of hotels booked for staying with children for the summer of 2014), the top 10 included Moscow, St. Petersburg, Anapa, Sochi, Sevastopol, Kazan, Yeysk, Veliky Novgorod, Gelendzhik and Yaroslavl.

People come to Moscow with children for an average of 3-4 days, to St. Petersburg for five days. These cities traditionally host various events and festivals in the summer that are of interest to both adults and children.

This is the time to visit city parks and various entertainments. For example, in Moscow the best parks for families with children are Sokolniki, Kuzminki and Gorky Park. And in the Tsaritsyno park, a boulder park recently appeared - this is the first special climbing area in the capital, where you can relax with the whole family.

Also, residents of Moscow and the Moscow region love to spend time at the Klyazma Reservoir in the hot summer.

For those who like to have fun, the Stars of the White Nights music festival is taking place in St. Petersburg, which ends on July 31. And on July 19, 2014, the Festival of Colors opens.

For tourists who go on boat excursions to explore the city, new rules have been introduced (for now only on the route from Admiralteyskaya embankment to Universitetskaya): now you can get off the excursion ship at any stop along the route, see the sights and continue the excursion again on another ship. The cost of a day ticket is 500 rubles, for beneficiaries it is two times cheaper.

Also, on some routes for tourists, inexpensive travel on aquabuses and tourist Meteors from Palace Embankment to Peterhof has resumed.

Kazan

This city continues to amaze its little guests. In terms of quantity and quality of children's entertainment, Tatarstan can compete with many.

Attraction Mirror Maze Pikabolo, Sky Park, amusement and amusement park "Kyrlay", interactive scientific children's center "House of Entertaining Science and Technology", Children's Railway - and this is not a complete list of entertainment for children in Kazan.

And finally, travel news that may be useful.

The summer season is open at the Arkhyz resort

In the summer you can also have a good rest in the mountains with children. The resort in Karachay-Cherkessia (220 kilometers from Mineralnye Vody) offers its young guests an interesting program: accommodation in a tent or children's camp, bus excursions to local attractions, climbing the mountains on a cable car, jeep rides, walking and cycling.

About holidays in Abkhazia

Experts say that short-term political unrest in Abkhazia did not greatly affect the number of people wishing to holiday in this country. The Foreign Ministry confirms: the situation is currently stable and absolutely calm.

Festival in the Divnogorye Nature Reserve

On July 5, the Divnogorye Museum-Reserve (Liskinsky District, Voronezh Region) will host a traditional open-air festival for the eighth time with an interesting and rich cultural and entertainment program.

And lastly

Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the authorities of the Krasnodar region do not recommend tourists visiting the foothills and mountainous areas of Kuban until the end of June and early July.
