It so happened that I always wrote here about “Wild Mint”, and I will write this time too, although, perhaps, there is nothing to write about this year.
1. I didn't listen to concerts. That is, part of “Spleen”, part of “Bricks”, all of 5Nizza, part of Alai Oli and... and that’s it. I caught something perfectly while lying in the tent in the evening and at night - “Accident” and complete trash called “Neuromonk Feofan”. Why? There are two versions. First: I have finally become an adult and boring, body problems worry me more than musical processes on the territory of the Russian Federation. Second: my worldview has undergone much more serious changes than I guessed before Mint. I couldn’t help myself: I didn’t want to listen to anything, it was boring and uncomfortable. Mint 2017 – not to be.
2. It was hot. Previous years - incessant rains and cold, but this year - heat and burns. The organizers did not worry not only about the tents, but also about any objects that cast a shadow. As a result, temperatures above 30 had to be endured on a bare field. (Another reason why there was no time for music). But there is a river near the festival area, and it was a salvation.
3. But this time the obligatory program of any festival called “communication with new people” went off with a bang. Thank you.
That's it. And - yes - you understood correctly, I’m not in a completely positive mood, so perhaps that’s the whole point, and I’m the only person, unlike, who is not ready to write about my delight specifically about the festival itself and the music.
