Bukovel trails. Bukovel trails Bukovel trail map

And so Kolya and I are going to Carpathians. But for a different purpose - To ski V the Velvet season, enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views of the mountains. We love mountains and every time we are surprised by their beauty, as if we were seeing them for the first time. You can feel incredibly strong energy and inspiration here.

On Bukovel The infrastructure is quite well developed: numerous cafes and restaurants at each ski lift.

Those who are a little tired from intense skiing can visit water complex "Water", located near the 15th ski lift.

You can also experience the delights of relaxation in the pool Radisson Hotel(close to the 7th ski lift).

As of March 2016, there were 60 km of slopes and 16 lifts in Bukovel.

In 2018, their length increased to 68 km.

(Map 2018)

In 4 days we managed to run all the blue tracks and touched a little on the red ones.

With ski passes, different combinations are possible: you can buy for one or two lifts, for half a day, for night skiing or for the whole day. Sometimes it was more profitable to take ski passes for the whole day, sometimes for half a day + night skiing.

You can rent riding equipment on site. For example, we lived in the village of Mykulychyn and during the high season, full equipment here cost about 90 hryvnia per day. But we went with our “outfit” :)

I have never been to a ski resort before. Before that, I only skated on Protas Yar in Kyiv. Therefore, it was a little exciting: after all, there are mountains, full of participants in the ski movement. But thanks to Kolya’s technical and psychological support, everything went well.

March 8 at the top of the high mountain resort BukovelDovga town (1370 m) We solemnly drank a “glass” of mulled wine to celebrate the holiday on March 8th and went on our last ski slope of the season.

The most famous and largest Ukrainian resort in Carpathian mountains attracts thousands of tourists every year. Natural conditions The area is highlighted by high-quality infrastructure.

Detailed description of the main routes and ski lifts of Bukovel

The Bukovel slopes, depending on the name of the nearest ski lift, can be divided into territorial sections or lines. For example, the first line includes the “1R” lift and the tracks located next to it, which have the number “1” in the name.

Lift 1R and first line slopes

The main lift in Bukovel on the first section, located closest to the ski school and the exit in the direction of Polyanytsya, is designated “1R”. This is a standard 4-seat option that will be of interest to all tourists, as it can reach trails of all types of difficulty. Close to the top point of this lift on Mount Bukovel (height - 1127 m) there are two others (“2” and “2R”), but their lower stations are shifted further, towards the center of the resort.

The slopes of Bukovel, to which the “1R” lift leads, are also marked “1”. The most popular descent for beginners in this area is called " 1C" This route, although marked blue, may be a little unusual for first-time skiers. The descent is characterized by a very narrow beginning and a sharp final section, so you should be careful when skiing here.

The blue route is somewhat similar to its neighbor " 1E" It is wider and easier, but the general pattern shows that there are several difficult and sharp turns (in the middle and end of the descent).

The red section of the first zone is designated as " 1A" The length is average, but the steepness of the slope here is quite serious, so it is not recommended for beginner skiers to go on this slope.

Black track for professionals, marked " 1B» laid between two sections of the blue slope « 1C" This special area for moguls, short, very steep and lumpy.

Second line

In this area there are two lifts leading to the top of Mount Bukovel:
“2R” is one of the first at the resort, 4-seat.
“2” – 2-seater observation room cable car in Bukovel..
This area is more interesting in summer, as it offers stunning views of the surrounding area. In summer, the observation lift No. 2 operates constantly, and “2R” is connected when necessary.

During the winter season, both red runs " 2A" And " 2B» are constantly loaded with skiers. In addition, sporting events are held at these sites every season. Route " 2B"also branches off to the red route" A", which leads to the fifth section. And between the descents " 2A" And " A"there is a small blue track" B ».

Fifth line

Near the bottom point of the “2R” lift and the run-out of the “2B” track there is a station of the “5” lift – a standard 4-seater option. From there you can climb to the top of Mount Chorna Kleva (1276 meters) to the best slopes for beginners.

Ski slopes « 5A" And " 5B"marked in blue - this is truly a paradise for amateurs. Long, gentle, slow slopes, not too crowded, kept clean at all times. The only problem area of the sites may be a narrow isthmus in the middle of the slope, where traffic jams traditionally occur. But their consequences are quickly eliminated, so the snow here is always comfortable and clean.

In the fifth zone there are also trails for experienced skiers, painted both red and black. An example of a descent of medium difficulty would be “ 5G"(interesting with a simple start and increasing complexity as you approach the rollout).

But there are already three black tracks: “ 5H », « 5F », « 5E" The last two are short and steep, leading from the middle " 5G» to the bottom lift station. Particularly interesting in Bukovel is the descent " 5F", which is a slalom course. This route is served by the only ski lift at the resort. The very first black slope departs from the very top and connects with “ 5G"in its last third.

12, 11 and 16 lines

The third main ski area is served by the 4-chair lift “12”. It leads to the highest point of the resort - Mount Dovga, which has a height of 1372 meters.

Red trails descend from the top " 12A" And " 12C" and the newly built blue track " 12V" The red sections are quite difficult and are regularly ridden by many visitors. They are connected by a very short descent " 12D”, close in complexity to the black type.

From these slopes you can return to the lower station of the ski lift “12” or stop at the upper station of the chair lifts “11” and “16”. From here the most difficult descents in Bukovel begin - 6 sections painted black.

Trails « 11C », « 11V », « 16E », « 16C », « 16D » « 16V"represent steep slopes, sharp elevation changes, narrow starts and rollouts. So only confident skiers should ski here. From lift “16” you can go in the other direction – to the red slope “ 16A" These are the best slopes for intermediate skiers, the most balanced slopes.

The blackest zone is located far from the main slopes, at the lowest point of Bukovel. Here are the trails " 22A" And " 22V", connected to each other by the shortest cable car "22" (you can get to it along the easy route " 14A"and on the lift "14" - the longest in Bukovel). These two slopes are also considered the shortest in the resort, but their steepness and difficulty definitely paint them black.

For children, a ski slope in Bukovel marked “ 7A", which is intended for training people who have never skied. There is a ski school very close by, so there is no shortage of visitors to the slope. Crowding can be a problem, but many trainers still advise starting your acquaintance with the resort from the “ 7A ».

Interesting area " 8A" is located between the middle of the already mentioned blue route " 5A"and the lower points of the ski lifts "8", "15" and "11" (one of the most extensive points in the resort, from where you can get to a variety of slopes) is located. This is not an ordinary track; entry is prohibited for ordinary skiers. Built on a slope large complex called Snow Park, which provides everyone with the opportunity to experience themselves as an extreme sports enthusiast. There is a medium-length track with many jumps and rails. This is where many new products are available ski holiday: zorbing, tubing and the like.

Bukovel trail map 2018-2019

Classification of trails by color (difficulty levels)

  • Blue- simple (usually suitable for children and adults who are new to skiing)
  • Reds— average (here a beginner will be comfortable, and an experienced skier will not be bored)
  • Black-high (for well-prepared experienced skiers, there are very steep and dangerous slopes, the slopes are groomed with a snowcat)

Lifts and descents "1"

The 1R lift is considered the most versatile, as it can take tourists to a wide variety of slopes and slopes. Its working hours: 17:30 – 19:30 hours.

Descent 1C can be called medium in difficulty. It is perfect for travelers who are not entirely confident in their skiing skills. However, you should be careful here - the beginning of the descent is narrow and the end is steep. For more experienced skiers, trails 1A and 1D (marked in red on the map) are intended. The most difficult descent number 1 is 1B, it is extremely difficult and fast (marked in black). Suitable for professionals only!

Route 1A is red. Length - 1356 meters, height difference - 266 meters.

Routes "2"

Bukovel’s second ski lift is 2R, it was built at the very beginning of the resort’s existence.

Route 2A is considered one of the most popular (many skiers practice here), and therefore it is busier than many others. But many are ready to wait their turn, since the 2A descent is really of very high quality. Championships and competitions are held here every season.

Descent 2B, although marked blue on the map (“easy difficulty”), is not very easy. Beginners are not advised to ride this route at all. An additional problem is the congestion of the track and the rapid wear of the surface.

Route 2A is red. Length - 760 meters, height difference - 213 meters.

Descents "5"

But where beginner skiers should really go is to slopes 5A and 5B. The main advantage of these routes is their length and flatness. One of the problems is the narrow part in the middle, where many people often gather.

An interesting route for experienced skiers is 5H. The complex structure of three sections with large drops and jumps, as well as the steepness of the slopes, makes the descent suitable for professionals.

Three more descents will become good choice for experienced skiers (all marked in black). The first, 5G, may seem deceptive due to its flatness at first. But towards the middle and at the end the descent becomes much steeper and more difficult. Route 5F is short but wide. There are many turns here, and the speed is constantly increasing. And finally, descent 5E is considered one of the most difficult. From the very beginning, it impresses even professionals, let alone beginners.

Route 5B is blue. The length of the route is 1446 meters, the height difference is 131 meters.

Red routes "12"

Slopes 12A and 12D are marked in red, so inexperienced skiers should not climb here. However, these routes start from the very high point resort, so you can go up here just to admire the view. The trails are deservedly popular due to their length and quality of surface.

Route 12C is intended for professionals, as throughout its entire length it does not allow you to relax and lose vigilance. And yet, at the end of the descent there is a wide rollout, where you can calm down.

Route 12A is red. Length - 1456 meters, height difference - 218 meters.

“8” and “15” - short and steep descents

Routes 8B, 8C, 15B and 15C are not long, but quite steep and fast. Here you can improve your skiing skills, as the slopes combine both steep and gentle sections.

Route 15A is red. Length - 1208 meters, height difference - 257 meters.

Lifts and descents "16"

Slopes 16A and 16B are classified as “medium difficulty” and are considered one of the most balanced here. But the tracks 16C and 16D are “black”, where professionals ski.

Route 16B is red. Length - 839 meters, height difference - 218 meters

Other lifts and descents - features

Lift 22 is the shortest in the resort. It takes skiers to runs 22A and 22B (which are also the shortest runs). The steepness of these routes makes their difficulty close to high, although the resort organizers classify them as “red”.

But the longest is lift 14 - a descent 2.3 km long. The local track, unlike 22, is also suitable for beginners. It differs in length and width. It is also very easy to calculate your speed here. The only problem with the route is the beginning - narrow and steep (it can be overcome on foot, but last years A serpentine detour has been set up here for beginners).

For lovers of high-mountain views, you should pay attention to lift 12. It can take you to the top of the Bukovel resort - Mount Dovga (1372 meters). If you are frozen, there is a place to warm up here.

Route 7A is rightfully considered “children’s”, that is, the simplest. Those who study here are those who have never skied in their lives. The main disadvantage of this route (and the lift to it) is the crowdedness. A lot of beginners gather here who do not know the basics of using equipment and ski passes.

And slope 8A is not suitable for ordinary skiers. A large complex has been built here, equipped with a route with various jumps. This is where freestylers and extreme skiers and snowboarders hone their trick skills. You can watch the athletes’ exercises from the local ski lift, which runs just above the track.

If you are a fan of evening skiing, tracks 1A, 7A and 2A are available for you (until 19:30).
