Is it worth going to Divnomorskoye? The village of Divnomorskoe near Gelendzhik. Is it worth going on vacation? Average monthly water temperature by month

Evdokimov family, Arkhangelsk:

We rested in June in Divnomorsk. We went there for the first time, read a lot of reviews before, decided that we wanted to live in a separate apartment, because the children were small (6 and 8 years old), we wanted to have our own separate kitchen.
I also wanted the apartment to be cozy, clean and close to the sea.
On one forum there was a review about a vacation in Divnomorsk, and Angelica’s phone number was indicated there.
I called and explained what we wanted. Angelika clarified when we would arrive in Divnomorsk and promised to prepare the apartment we wanted for our arrival.
We were still worried because we were traveling for the first time, with children, and we didn’t want to be left homeless.
But everything turned out just fine. The driver from Anzhelika met us in Novorossiysk at the station and brought us to the apartment on the street. Kirov, the apartment was 2 rooms, with a balcony. TV, bath, toilet, kitchen with dishes, microwave, refrigerator and washing machine.
There was also a split system, but we didn’t use it, the apartment was cool, there were trees under the windows, so the apartment was always in the shade. Nearby was Magnit, and a little further away was the Kurortnaya dining room.
The location is excellent, 5 minutes from the sea (we went to the beach of a military sanatorium), quiet at night.
The children were simply delighted with the sea. They didn’t want to get out of the water.
On the way to the sea there are a lot of children's attractions, so in the evening we had an obligatory walk through the park with these attractions.
I liked Divnomorsk, it’s cozy, small, everything is nearby, very suitable for families with children. If we succeed, we will definitely go again.

Irina Felisova, Irkutsk:

We vacationed with my husband in September 2011. We chose between Gelendzhik and Divnomorsk, but in the end we settled on Divnomorsk.
While we were choosing, I scoured the Internet and discovered that in Divnomorsk you can rent not only a room in the private sector or a suite, but also an apartment.
I found this option interesting.
For the money it was the same as a room in a private house, but there they offered a shared shower and toilet, but here everything is separate.
As a result, we chose an apartment 10-12 minutes from the sea on the street. Gornaya, for which special thanks to Angelica, who showed us this apartment.
The apartment is small, 1st floor, huge balcony, good repair, cozy, clean, everything is there: TV, shower, kitchen with everything you need to cook.
Just perfect for the two of us. The area is calm, it was quiet at night.
The sea is clean. We went for a swim at Energetika beach. We saw dolphins twice.
We ate mostly ourselves at home; there were two grocery stores nearby.
In the evening we went to cafes several times, the food was so-so, but we liked the music.
We went to the Zolotaya Bukhta water park, we really liked it, and towards the end of our vacation we went there a second time.
Overall, we were very pleased with our vacation, the place was calm, there weren’t very many people (probably because it was September), the sea was just super, so pleasant and gentle.
If it works out, we will definitely come here next year.
Special thanks to Angelica for the apartment. We got exactly what we wanted and expected.

Olga and Maxim Vereshchagin, Novosibirsk:

We rested in Divnomorsk in August. We chose the option with a separate cottage because we were traveling with three families (9 people in total)
We decided to go by car. Therefore, I wanted to have a normal parking place.
Before arrival we saw photographs of the cottage. In principle, this is how it turned out. The cottage is large, for one family, of course, too big (although it depends on who), but for us for three families it’s just right.
The children were happy to have Wi-Fi and immediately got on the Internet.
As for us adults, there was a place on site to cook kebabs, the owners suggested where to buy fresh meat, and almost all evenings we grilled kebabs and relaxed in the fresh air.
The sea in Divnomorsk is simply super. But this is not news for us, we come here all the time, we used to rent rooms, but we liked relaxing in a separate cottage much more.
The vacation was great, we are looking forward to returning to Divnomorsk next summer!

The ideal combination of sea air and the aroma of the resin of the famous Pitsunda pine would be enough to glorify this small village on the Russian Black Sea coast - Divnomorskoye. And what a name – sonorous, telling! Being part of the resort area of Greater Gelendzhik, the village is no less in demand from year to year both among Russians and guests visiting from abroad. A beneficial climate with mild air (pine thickets stretch along the entire edge of the coast), warm sea waters, and a well-developed tourist infrastructure provide such attractiveness.

Residents of megalopolises especially love Divnomorskoye: there is no industry, houses are surrounded by lush gardens, vineyards stretch over large areas, there is a wide choice not only in the private hotel fund, but also among recreation complexes, including student ones. The old name of the village - False Gelendzhik - does not carry a negative meaning; it’s just that a hundred years ago, sailors, when approaching the shore, mistook the lights of the bay for Gelendzhik Bay. But both guides and local residents will be happy to tell you the story of Russian-Turkish battles in these waters, when it was the waters of Divnomorskoye that diverted enemy fire and thereby contributed to victory. For many Russians who come here on vacation, the fact that it is here that the courtyard of the Trinity-Sergius Lavra with the image of St. Sergius of Radonezh and a particle of his incorruptible relics kept there is of considerable importance. The geography of the village is not limited to the sea and pine thickets. It is also rich in rivers - Mezyb and Aderba flow into the sea, forming the Inogua River, at the mouth of which Divnomorskoe is located. The village itself is small - just over 6,000 people, but in the summer you can get from here not only to Gelendzhik, but also to Novorossiysk, Dzhanhot and Krasnodar, fortunately the traffic flow increases both due to minibuses and additional regular buses.

The most interesting thing is that everyone is happy with Divnomorsk: mothers and fathers with their kids, young people dreaming of “getting away” on vacation, elderly spouses looking for an ecologically clean place in nature and everyday amenities. No one bothers anyone, there is enough sea and beach for everyone. By the way, the beaches here are pebbly and it is believed that the water near the shore is the cleanest compared to other resorts on the coast. Many parents prefer pebbles so as not to shake out the ubiquitous sand from their children’s sandals and panties after each visit to the sea. Besides the pebbles in these places are not large, and the seabed is sandy, just ideal for swimming children. The beach is located on a gently sloping shore, smoothly turning into the water's edge, which, by the way, warms up quite quickly. And, if we talk about beaches, we should note a feature: Divnomorskoe has its own nudist area, nestled under a cliff. The advantageous natural difference of the village is its mountainous environment, thanks to which the valley is much warmer and the weather is more even compared to the settlements located in the area. The issue of temporary residence is resolved in the village without any problems: hotels and rental apartments are available for family tourists, and tourist centers for young people. When choosing a hotel, parents with children should take into account the location of nightclubs and cafes, because in the summer there is music until the morning. In addition to natural advantages, in the vicinity of the village there is something to see, created by human hands. For example, the most ancient structures are dolmens, as well as burial mounds. If you are not too lazy and go to the neighboring village of Praskoveevka, you can admire the Parus rock with your own eyes and take beautiful photographs. For those who like to not only lie on the shore, but also make forays into nature, we can recommend a hike to the largest mixed forest of the Black Sea region - Dzhankhotsky Bor, which occupies 950 hectares. Don't think that the village is poor in entertainment. Great competition encourages the administrations of all resorts to invest not only in landscaping, but also in the entertainment sector. Thus, Divnomorsk is rightfully proud of its embankment - of course, not as grandiose as in Gelendzhik itself, but no less neat and beautiful. And what would a resort be without its own water park - the village has one. Do you want to visit the Golden Bay, the Oceanarium or the Safari Park? You can take one or two days to visit Gelendzhik, where all this is located. And there are enough restaurants, cafes, shops and other necessary places in Divnomorsk.

At the mouth of the Inogua River near the Black Sea is the village of Divnomorskoe (Divnomorsk). Hidden by the Caucasus Mountains, it has been attracting tourists for over a hundred years. It’s not for nothing that the village is called that – the sea here is truly marvelous. When a competition was held for the best name of the village, it was suggested by vacationers who admired the beauty of the sea surface.

Divnomorsk – healing and clean

The region has a mild subtropical climate. Summer is dry, winter has a lot of rain. The holiday season lasts from May to October, when the air temperature averages 25-30°C, water temperature – up to 28°C. There are almost no cold north-eastern winds, so it is comfortable here even in autumn.

Coniferous forests make the area unique. The one-of-a-kind Dzhankhotsky pine forest, made from the famous relict Pitsunda pine, makes the air fresh and healing. This is facilitated by the absence of industrial enterprises and large highways in the neighborhood.

The sea is transparent. The bay is protected from alluvial mud by rocky spurs, which are quickly carried away by water flows from the mountains. The beaches are pebble, and you can settle down on the established ones on the embankment, or move a little further away and sunbathe on the wild ones, which are no worse.

Tourist Divnomorsk

The resort is one of the most popular on the Russian coast thanks to its amenities aimed specifically at tourist recreation.

There are many hotels, camps and boarding houses designed for both young people and the elderly and families with children. For those wishing to improve their health, sanatoriums with modern treatment programs await you.

The main place for festivities is the embankment, where bars and restaurants, attractions for children and adults are located, many entertainment venues operate in the “open air” format. There is banana boat rides, scuba diving, rental of jet skis, bicycles, scooters, go-karts, and horseback riding. Routes have been laid out for those who prefer to have an active holiday. You can fly with a parachute or go on an extreme trip in a jeep or even an armored personnel carrier. In the summer months, Luna Park comes and a small water park opens its doors. Those who like to dance are invited to the popular club for young people “Kakadu”.

Numerous excursions are offered - from a trip to the homeland of Russian champagne to a visit to the estate of the Korolenko family and a unique natural attraction - the Parus rock. Orthodox Christians will appreciate the Metochion of the Trinity-Sergei Lavra, which stores the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh. If you like to explore everything on your own, big cities are easily accessible by bus or minibus.

This year we vacationed in Divnomorskoye. I didn’t particularly want to go to noisy Gelendzhik. We are very pleased with our vacation, and especially with the beaches of Divnomorskoye. We vacationed in Gelendzhik for several years, decided to try at least something new, and finally found a place where the sea is really clean and comfortable. In all other large resorts, it’s a real pain when you arrive and don’t see a normal place where you can lie down in the sun. And Divnomorskoye is quite a good village in terms of beaches and infrastructure.

The big plus is that in Divnomorskoye there is complete freedom in terms of beach holidays. Nowhere, in any corner of this village, have we seen a beach that is paid for or simply closed to such an extent that they are not allowed there at all. The roads are open to tourists, without exception, to all the beaches of Divnomorskoye. They say that they wanted to close some sanatorium, but they gave it such a strike that they immediately opened everything back up.

But these are all tales of vacationers who have been hanging out there for several years. But I will tell you what we saw with our own eyes. I won’t lie about the purity of sea water; it’s not perfect everywhere. This is especially visible on the central beach of Divnomorskoye. That is, it is mainly visible there. Most of the beaches in Divnomorskoye really have such clean water, which we personally have never seen in Gelendzhik over several years of vacation.

But the turbidity of the water on the central beach is understandable, because in the summer so many people relax there! Local people also come, who apparently know where to go to the beach to relax in the summer. Therefore, especially on weekends, there is absolutely nothing to do on the central beach of Divnomorskoye. It is not so much dirty as it is simply mud rising from the bottom due to the mega-slurry of such a huge number of people. If you really want to swim in the center of the village, you can at least go to the boat station. It is much quieter and more comfortable there, and the water is closer to clean. But there you have to keep your eyes peeled when you go into the water, because there are big stones. I never swam there, I just got my feet wet a couple of times. And all the amenities there are paid. The beach itself is free, but entertainment and sun loungers are paid, which is natural.

As a last resort, you can go to the Torch. This is also Divnomorskoe beach, only it is more convenient for those who live on the outskirts. But those who want to have a good rest on the beach will not cover such a long distance to the outskirts of Divnomorskoye. There are also all the amenities, all the infrastructure, entertainment, cafes nearby, etc.

You can safely go to the beaches of the sanatoriums. It is crowded there, but the atmosphere is somehow different from the central beach. More civilized or something. It’s just that order reigns there, there are amenities, although they are intended only for those who relax in these sanatoriums. Therefore, you shouldn’t count on them too much. If only you could somehow cover yourself up and disguise yourself as a local at a not particularly popular time for a beach holiday. They have first aid stations and a lifeguard.

We didn’t really relax on the beaches of Divnomorskoe, which are classified as sanatoriums. We were frequent guests of the wild beaches of Divnomorskoye. That's where real relaxation is, and not where it's full of people. The water is clean, the sea is perfectly transparent, the bottom is beautiful, rich flora and fauna, snorkeling is the best! When they write about the clean beaches of Divnomorskoye, they most likely mean these. There are several of them. Available in Laguna. There is a stunning Pitsunda forest above you, what aromas, what beauty reigns around! Simply beyond words!

I would like to highlight the nudist beach of Divnomorskoye. Because this place is not for everyone. No, anyone can go there, but you must take off your clothes there. Even at the entrance, a stone sign sticks out of the rock with the inscription Leave your clothes, everyone who enters here. My husband and I have been wanting to try it for a long time, but never got around to it. We were mostly in Laguna.

We really liked Divnomorskoye! There are a lot of impressions, especially from the beaches! It's worth going there just for them!

Hi all!

It’s winter outside, and I want to return to summer more and more! I don’t know about your city, but in Chelyabinsk it’s grey, dirty and dull 70% of the time. Therefore, I would like to remember how good it was by the sea, and at the same time tell how it all went.

We did not purposefully choose Divnomorskoye as a place where we want to spend our summer vacation. It so happened that my husband went there on a business trip for 2 months. It was decided to join him for one month, that's all. Therefore, I cannot give arguments why exactly here. It happened that way

We traveled with 2 children, the oldest was 5 years old, the youngest was 11 months old at that time.

The girls and I flew on a direct flight to Anapa, and there my husband met us and took us to the village. Divnomorskoe.

Divnomorskoye is a small resort village, about 10 km. from the city of Gelendzhik. You can get there by bus from the city itself, just to spend time on the beach, for example.

If you decide to go purposefully to this village, then I will try to tell you about the main points that are interesting to tourists.

Where to live? What is the price?

We feel comfortable living in a rented apartment. We choose an apartment that would have such amenities as a washing machine (two children because), a kitchen with dishes, a TV (to watch a cartoon), and other amenities. I repeat, this is much more convenient for us with two children. They are left to their own devices, and there are no crazy numbers of vacationers around who can PARTY like it was the last time.

Renting an apartment during the season costs from 2000 to 3500. A two-room, spacious apartment cost us 2000 rubles for the first week, and then friends came to us and the owner of the apartment increased the price by only 500 rubles. Very cheap!

If you do not book accommodation in advance, it is not difficult to find it locally. Realtors are everywhere.

Again, if you looked at the property and didn’t like it, you can negotiate on the spot to reduce the price. Again, some friends came to visit us from Krasnodar for the weekend. We rented rooms in a tourist cottage for 3000 instead of 3500, they got a discount without any problems.

In the village itself, I counted 4 boarding houses, with very nice, well-kept grounds, on the seashore. You can stay in them. There is everything you need on site. Pharmacy, with normal prices, like everywhere else in Russia. Dining rooms, cafes, swimming pool. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any photos because I always had at least 1 child hanging on me. Take my word for it. It will cost the same, from 2500 to 3500.

Living in the village is comfortable in terms of infrastructure. Everything is there. The most popular bank is Sberbank.

Lots of mini markets. We buy fruit and everything there. By the way, the prices are not the lowest. We sell everything the same and at the same price. As a rule, we bought everything we needed at Magnit, there are already 2 of them.

We drank exclusively bottled water, but it is possible to get water very cheaply in a booth like this.

In general, everything essential is within walking distance. If you suddenly need something that you can’t find, again Gelendzhik is nearby, you can go.

How to have fun yourself, what to do with your children?

Everything is standard here.

Cafes, restaurants, bars at every step. There are especially many of them closer to the embankment.

There are a lot of offers for excursions. We had a car and drove everywhere ourselves. But even without a car everything is easy! If you want, go to any kiosk and choose.

There are also jeeps on duty, prices are the same everywhere.

There is also a lot of things for children. The cafe has a children's menu, and on the beach there are a bunch of different nets, circles and other children's delights for sale. The prices are great! We really bought everything in advance, but we are in a car, and if without it, there is no point in carrying the same rings and life jackets for the children. Large circle 300-700 rubles, life jacket 250-500 rubles.

All this is sold in large quantities on the central approach to the sea. All the souvenirs are there if anyone needs them.

There is also entertainment, a la trampolines. We didn’t go to such entertainment. Just because it was dirty. Those who sell this service do not care about cleanliness. Children are in the sand after the sea, the trampoline itself is in puddles after the rain, they are jumping around in all this, exchanging infections... In general, this is not for me. Well, the prices are high. Jumping in the mud costs 200-250 rubles for 5 minutes. If you absolutely want it, then it’s better to go to an amusement park in Gelendzhik.

Very often, animators walk along the streets and along the embankment, inviting children to events.

Sea and embankment.

This is exactly why it’s worth visiting Divnomorskoe!

The embankment is wide, clean, comfortable. I always have a heavy stroller, which contains everything besides the child, towels, clothes, water, food.... Holidays with children are like that.. And I didn’t have any problems.

There are several lifeguard towers on the embankment, which is important. And a lot of toilets. All are paid, 20 rubles each.

The beach is pebble, I really liked it. There is an opportunity to just lie on the pebbles, or you can go to a paid beach and buy a sunbed for the whole day for 150-200 rubles.

We did both.

While we lived there there was a whole week of downpours, the sea was simply unrealistically stormy! The waves were high. People still swam, of course, but the rescuers from the towers constantly swore at them and appealed to their reason.

After the storm, the beach was always littered with branches and everything that washed up from the sea. During the day everything was put in order. So it's pretty clean there. In Gelendzhik, I didn’t like the sea at all.

If you get tired of the local beach, you can always go to a wild one. There are a lot of them, but in my opinion it’s not worth it. Nobody watches such people, and people throw garbage, which is not pleasant... For example, I don’t recommend going to Sosnovka at all. It's beautiful there, but the beach itself is dirty.

If you still decide to explore the coast near the village. Divnomorskoye, then it’s better to go to Praskoveevka. The beach there is paid, and very well maintained. There is also the Parus rock, a local landmark. You can ride there on a banana for 400 rubles.

I would like to write separately about the streets of the village themselves. It may not be easy with a baby in a stroller, so don’t take a flimsy little walk on tiny wheels, but rather something in between, between big and small.

If you decide to take a walk, you may simply run into stairs somewhere up the mountain. We were looking for a pediatrician's office. And in general, there is rarely a ramp or convenient exit anywhere. So it's annoying at first. Then you get used to it and already know where you can go and where you shouldn’t.

About medical services. They are at a normal level here. There is an emergency room in two locations. So if someone becomes ill, contact us without any problems. The main thing is to have with you: passport, birth certificate, insurance policy.

We contacted 2 times. Both times they called an ambulance, which was traveling from Gelendzhik. So if the team is not working somewhere nearby in the village, you will have to wait about 40 minutes. The small child will definitely be taken to the hospital in Gelendzhik, for examination and tests if necessary, and if necessary, for hospitalization. Afterwards you will be asked to show up in the village. My children were unwell for about a day each in turn. Regarding the condition of the small child, they called me the next day after the call and inquired about her condition, which greatly surprised me.

Who can I recommend to relax here? For pensioners.

Divnomorskoe is created for a lazy beach holiday, ideal with children! You can calmly walk, swim, and relax. There is no crazy fun here. There are a lot of married couples around. In the evenings, the embankment is noisy, of course, and you can dance in the bar (until 2 am!), but that’s where the party ends. You can walk with your children even until the morning (under police supervision, by the way), and it will be nice, quiet, good.

Even though I rate the place a 5, I still don’t want to go back. After spending 3 weeks there, I “ate” enough of it, but visiting there was definitely worth it.

So. All. We're all rushing off to summer!
