Lunch will take place at a restaurant in Abakan, and after that you will have an excursion to the Sayano-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power station and a transfer to the village of Shushenskoye.

You will stop at the architectural and ethnographic complex of the Shushenskoye Museum-Reserve, and be accommodated in peasant estates. The customs and traditions of the Siberian village of the late 19th century with its streets and houses have been preserved here. For dinner you will try dishes of Siberian peasant cuisine, and if you wish and for an additional fee you can visit the bathhouse.

Day 3 Shushenskoye Museum-Reserve and tea ceremony in Tuva

You will have a tour of the Shushenskoye State Ethnographic Museum-Reserve. You will see old peasant houses, a trading shop, a prison, a tavern - about 200 wooden buildings in total. Visit a tavern, visit a real merchant's shop and get acquainted with the skills of Siberian artisans.

After lunch, you will travel through the Western Sayan Mountains, observing stunning scenery. You will see the Sleeping Sayan Mountains and drive past the famous Ergaki natural park. By evening you will arrive in Tuva, where there are almost no signs of modern civilization.

You will stay overnight in a small yurt complex on the banks of the Biy-Khem River. After dinner, you will watch a performance by performers of traditional Tuvan throat singing “khoomei”.

Day 4 Excursions in Kyzyl

On this day you will go to Kyzyl - the capital of Tuva. You will see the geographical center of Asia near the confluence of the Biy-Khem (Big Yenisei) and Ka-Khem (Small Yenisei) rivers. You will visit a Buddhist monastery, where you will hear a sermon by a real lama, then visit a shamanic society.

After lunch, there will be an excursion to the National Museum of Tuva, where you will get acquainted with the unique exhibition “Gold of the Scythians”. Then you will visit a mineral spring in the vicinity of Kyzyl.

After the tour, you will have free time in the city to visit souvenir shops and local craft workshops. There you will learn how national Tuvan instruments, shamanic drums, and jewelry are made.

In the evening you will return to the yurt complex, where dinner with dishes of Tuvan national cuisine will await you. Afterwards there will be a tea ceremony in Tuvan, during which you will learn about different ways of brewing national tea with milk and salt, listen to local legends and parables.

Afterwards, you can order shaman rituals for an additional fee. This is communication with spirits, a real witchcraft ritual by the fire, accompanied by drawn-out sounds and blows on a tambourine.

Day 5 From Tuva to Khakassia in the footsteps of nomads

On this day you will cross Tuva from east to west, following the road of ancient nomads. Stop at Mount Khayirakan - this is one of the most revered peaks in Tuva, consecrated by the Dalai Lama XIV as a place of special energetic power.

On the way to Khakassia you will see the center of Buddhist culture, the restored Ustuu-Khuree monastery. At the Sayan Pass, at an altitude of 2214 meters above sea level, you will find breathtaking views of the mountains surrounded by cedar taiga.

You will arrive at the Snow Leopard base, have dinner and meet the base instructors who know all the surrounding taiga trails and healing Siberian herbs.

Day 6 Trekking in the taiga

After breakfast, you will take a walk around the surrounding area to the suspended “Bridge of Love” (2 km one way, 2.5 hours). It is laid through the high-mountainous river Bolshoy On, surrounded by centuries-old cedar taiga.

After lunch, you can pick mushrooms and berries that grow in the taiga literally under your feet, and pine nuts. In the evening, you will have dinner, a Russian bath with swimming in the icy taiga river and aromatic Siberian herbal tea.

Day 7 Getting to know Khakassia

After breakfast, you will stop by the Khakassian village, where the sacred stele of Khurtuyakh Tas is installed. By lunchtime you will arrive in the Kyug valley near Abakan. Stay in a yurt complex on the banks of the small Askiz River, between the Altai and Sayan mountains.

After lunch, you will have a tour of the Khakass State Archaeological Museum-Reserve "Kazanova", where you will see rock paintings that are from three to five thousand years old.

In the evening, you will enjoy dinner with Khakass cuisine and a performance by a national folk ensemble.

Day 8 Archaeological and cultural monuments of Khakassia

You will continue the tour of the Khakass State Museum-Reserve “Kazanovka”. You will see the sacred signs of ancient shamans and the cult stele of Akh-tas (White Stone). You will find out the purpose of the mysterious vertical stones - menhirs, sticking out of the ground throughout Khakassia, and see real archaeological excavations.

After lunch you will go to the capital of Khakassia - Abakan. During a city tour, visit the Khakass National Museum of Local Lore, which houses a unique collection of stone sculptures - the heritage of ancient cults. In the evening, check into the Asia Hotel, have dinner and relax.

Day 9 Travel to the Valley of the Kings

Today you will go from Abakan to the Valley of the Kings, where there are about 30 burial mounds of the 3rd-4th century BC. You will see the Great Salbyk Kurgan, once built over the grave of a noble family of the Tagar tribe and excavated by archaeologists in 1954-56. Its height is 11.5 m, and the weight of vertical stones reaches 60 tons.

A picnic lunch with a view of the Valley of the Kings awaits you, and then a return trip to Krasnoyarsk. Upon arrival in the city, you will stay at the Krasnoyarsk Hotel and have dinner at the restaurant.
