In accordance with the Law of the Krasnodar Territory of November 27, 2017 No. 3690-KZ, from July 16, 2018, a resort fee is collected in the territory of the region. The fee for one individual upon reaching 18 years of age, living in an accommodation facility for more than 24 hours, is 10 rubles per day. Payment is made upon check-in at the accommodation facility. Persons with a place of residence in the Krasnodar Territory are exempt from paying the resort fee. Failure by payers to fulfill the obligation to pay the resort fee entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of 500 to 2000 rubles.

I considered the clean ponds to be the most successful location: it’s not far from the sea and the Olympic Park is nearby, it was because of its visit that a trip to Adler was planned. I booked a room through a travel agency, there were favorable conditions: the room on the official website cost 2,500 rubles, and through the agency it was 1,800. In total, I paid 10,500 rubles for 5 days.
Having read reviews about the hotel in advance, I learned that no one would check into our room before 2 p.m., so we planned our arrival time so that we could arrive at the hotel by check-in time. Upon arrival, there was a decent queue at the reception, but we were seated quickly. We got a room on the second floor in building 14.

Number
The room is quite spacious, corner, without a balcony, which really upset me, because with a child it is still more convenient when there is a place where you can dry things.
The room has an empty minibar, also known as a refrigerator, inside of which there was a decent build-up of ice. In general, the first impressions of the room are positive, but then, when you start to look closely at the details, it seems that the hotel lacks care. Scratches on the walls, an undefrosted refrigerator, poorly washed tiles in the toilet seem like small things, but they don’t seem to be.

The room was cleaned according to a strange principle. In five days, our linen was changed once and vacuumed once. It seemed very strange that the towels were not changed even once. The trash was taken out daily. Soap, shampoo and shower gel were reported a couple of times. You have to be careful with shower gel - I started to become allergic to it: my whole body turned red.
Hotel infrastructure
In building 1 there is the Old Sochi canteen, in building 14 there is a pharmacy and car rental, in building 16 there is sushi and a hairdresser, in building 18 there is a grocery store. There are two large playgrounds on the territory.
Upon entry, you will be issued a guest card on which your details are written: building number, rooms, period of stay. After 11 pm, entry to the territory is strictly based on these cards. During the day, documents at the checkpoint are not checked, and anyone can enter the territory.

Nutrition
In the velvet seasons, meals are organized as a buffet, you can take “all inclusive”: breakfast, lunch, dinner, or you can choose separately what you need. Breakfast - 550 rubles per person, lunch and dinner are more expensive. For us, food was not included in the price of the trip, and we ate in nearby canteens - “Sea Beach”, “Yuzhnaya”, when we walked to the Rossiya state farm we ate in the “Berezhok” canteen. The price for two was breakfast: 200-250, lunch 350-400 and dinner a little more expensive. The food is delicious, homemade. We ate once on the hotel grounds in the Old Sochi canteen, which was also delicious, but the choice of food seemed more modest to me compared to the canteens on the coast.
Beach
The beach is very large pebbles. Before that, we had a five-day vacation in Sochi, and I thought the beach there was a nightmare, no, in Adler the situation is much worse. If you exit through checkpoint No. 2 and go to the sea, you will get to the “Velvet Seasons” beach, and through checkpoint No. 1 to the beach from another hotel there is a steep entry into the sea, it quickly becomes deep. Sun beds and umbrellas on all beaches are paid. This surprised me a little, okay, in our hotel the rooms were relatively inexpensive, but in the Sochi Park Hotel located not far from us, the rooms cost twice as much and on the beach they had the same sign as on ours about the free beach and paid services . On the beach of Velvet Seasons there is animation, something like children's exercises, but it is more likely for kids; a six-year-old child is no longer interested.

I expected more!!! The service is not worth 5050 ₽ per day. If I had read the reviews in 2 GIS, my place of stay would definitely have changed. Check-in lasted 1.5!!! hours. Queue, lack of cups in the cooler, tired administrators... Room - filthy carpet, TV with a 50mm diagonal, curtains that do not open, a refrigerator - one name, there is not even a glass for water, a bathtub without a curtain (apparently for those who like to wash while sitting and wipe the swamp after ), cockroaches in the bathroom, a wobbly toilet and faucet, walls made of cardboard, no “do not disturb” sign, the line for the dryer didn’t come even on the 14th day of your stay - rope and clothespins will help you! Cleaning the room means removing the trash and replacing bed sheets and towels. They do not wipe the dust, do not wash the sink, toilet, or bathtub. Vacuum cleaning upon request. They don’t know how to be “invisible”, they impudently knock and invade. A couple of times they came in with the key and greeted me sleepy in my shorts))) They don’t put out soap and shampoo regularly! (apparently they need it more) Buffet/breakfast... you can eat it, but it’s not worth the expense. The monotony of the menu gets boring. No dessert choice. I was pleased with the area, people know their stuff! Everything is clean, tidy, perfect lawns. Own beach))) 400 ₽ (chaise lounge + umbrella) and it’s yours! On our own beach, only the toilet is free with a guest card!)) The promised gym is not there! Those. The information on the website does not match. (they say it's being renovated) Proximity to the sea, Sochi Park, Olympic venues, the beauty of the mountains and a wonderful climate. I will definitely come back here, but not to this hotel. Let me immediately note the excellent clean sea! The establishment itself is generally okay. But immediately focus on the level and don’t demand too much from him, don’t expect. The rooms are... dirty. No, the maid comes every day, took out the trash, bed linen and towels were changed on time. But it’s high time to dry-clean the carpet. It's time to wash the curtains and bedspreads. The walls are also dirty. Apparently the renovation needs to be updated. Not everything is clear about food either. I don't recommend the buffet. Lunch for 650 rubles, dinner for 500 per person!!. For 650 rubles, we, 2 adults and a 10-year-old daughter, had lunch together in the dining room. There are many canteens around. There is a large “Yuzhnaya” on the beach; I highly recommend the grill there. The meat is magical and mackerel is very psychotherapeutic. There is Alexandria in Alexandrovsky. The prices are the same, there are fewer people. Always two soups, 6 hot, 4 side dishes. Plus products from the grill. Everything is edible, no one was poisoned. You CAN relax! We were there from 07/16/18 for 10 days. Chistye Prudy quarter. I liked Alexandrovsky more, it’s somehow more comfortable there. But it is MUCH further from the sea.

We stayed at this hotel in July. Changed number 2 times. We took a suite, but they don’t have luxury rooms, so what is called a suite is no higher than the standard. In the rooms everything is minimal, but there is no tea set or dryer, refrigerators do not work, in 2015 there was everything. The hotel has become impoverished and the price has risen by 20 percent. Perhaps there are a couple of advantages - proximity to the sea, a closed area, a store on it, and perhaps that’s all. Think before you choose it. The hotel is no more than three out of five. We took it through Alean, everything was fine without any comments, they called several times and asked about questions, Alean got a solid five, everything is clear, I recommend taking it through them.

We had a family vacation at the end of July 2018. We have been eyeing the Velvet Seasons for a long time and for good reason. Excellent location of the hotel, a lot of free space for walking and relaxing, well-groomed territory (and this is not only in the hotel but also outside it), its own beaches (clean, equipped and there is enough free space, but the pebbles are large, it is not convenient without special shoes, buy them you can do it here, the asking price is 200-300 rubles), always free parking pockets, guarded territory, delicious, almost home-made food! We chose the Chistye Prudy quarter for our vacation because of its proximity to the sea and the Olympic Park. Bicycle, electric and gyro equipment rental here. A huge number of bike paths from the border with Abkhazia to the Olympic venues and further to the center of Adler (and probably further))). The cleanest sea! There are plenty of pleasures and entertainment. We will definitely come back here next year, 10 days fly by in an instant.

A very worthy place! Clean, tidy, protected area. Sea - 3 minutes - very convenient. The territory has all the necessary shops and services. The location near Chistye Prudy is probably the most advantageous, in the center. The food is normal, people who complain about the food are making things up. Apparently they are used to eating in restaurants. The price is below the quality level.

We prepared for the trip in advance. We were there on March 26-27, 2016. We checked in later than stated in the contract. I had to stand in line with wet feet (it was raining outside). The rooms are dirty, the door handles are kept on parole. There is dust on the carpet, there is hair. The windows are stained. You can eat on site only according to the buffet system - three times a day. You cannot buy food outside of the schedule!!! There is no kettle in the rooms. A cooler with hot water is located only in the reception building - in another part of the territory. There is only one way out of the hotel territory - although the territory is huge. There is a fence around. There are two glasses in the room. And this hotel positions itself as THREE stars!! ..at least there is water and electricity :)

The rooms are good, but in 3 days they were not cleaned even once, only the trash was taken out. Just as we arrived with crumbs on the shelves in the closet, we left with the same crumbs in the closet. The food is simply disgusting, in the evening there were empty trays, they began to be indignant, they brought almost raw chicken. Not a single fruit, this is in the south, nothing at all for tea, basic pancakes in the morning, and that’s all. The food is not tasty, and they are also rude if you ask anything. The whole holiday was ruined by this buffet. And its cost, meanwhile, is very high, dinner is 550 rubles. The selection includes only different types of cabbage and cutlets with sausage; often everything that was at breakfast is reheated for dinner. The only good thing is that the sea is nearby.

Quite by accident we learned about the existence of the city-hotel Velvet Seasons Chistye Prudy. We rested from September 8 to September 18, 2015. We only took accommodation. Everyone was happy. We checked in almost immediately, much earlier than 14-00. There was no problem eating at all. On the way to the beach there is a normal canteen, where they wash everything all the time, wipe everything very clean and at an affordable price. A large assortment. A little further on the way to the state farm \\\"Russia\\\" there are several canteens, a bunch of shops and prices are the same as at home, or even cheaper. On the territory of Chistye Prudy we bought 5 liters of water in a shop - 46 rubles. We lived in building 1 sea very close. The room is all clean, snow-white linen and towels. They changed everything three times in 10 days. Cleaning every day. Within walking distance of the Olympic Park. You can walk along the beautiful and clean embankment not only during the day, but also in the evening. Even my mother, who is 72 years old and whose legs hurt very much, was able to do this. If it is very difficult to walk, there is a 125 bus, you can get 3 stops for 10 rubles to the Sochi amusement park and the Olympic Park. For the entire 10 days, I didn’t stress at all for any reason. We are very pleased with everything, if we have the opportunity, we will definitely come again.

I would like to immediately note that the reception desk is simply terrible, like flies, my two small children and I stood for 4 hours upon check-in, and upon check-out, since our two-year-old child had a fever, we were simply thrown out of the room at 12 noon, although at first they were allowed to extend for a fee room before departure. The room was not cleaned even once in two weeks; the towels always had to be asked to be changed, otherwise they would remain the same.

We had a family vacation from August 6 to August 18, 2015 in \\\"Chistye Prudy\\\". First I will write \\\"advantages\\\" - there are not many of them. The sea is clean and warm, although the beach is large-pebble, you need special slippers to go into the water, otherwise you risk walking around with bruises. The walk to the sea is 10-15 minutes, not 100 m, as they say on the website. The room was spacious, two-room. That's all, I guess. The room was poorly cleaned, the air conditioner was broken, I found an empty tin can under the bed (after previous occupants), there was no bar in the room, although there should have been one. There are no water coolers in the buildings, you had to go to the reception with bottles, but there wasn’t always any there either, as it runs out quickly. On site, the water in the store is very expensive, and there’s only one store and it’s very small. And the prices are as if we lived on Rublyovka. Now the most important thing. Never take travel packages with food!!! This is quiet horror. Firstly, everything is monotonous, every day, there is no choice. And even what you have, you can’t eat. The pasta is always cold, under-salted, the potatoes are almost always undercooked, sausage and sausages are a whole separate issue. Where did they even buy it?! You can’t even give this to homeless people and dogs!!! There were always not enough cups and glasses; we had to pour tea and compote into tureens. They gave drying cakes for tea - it just doesn’t fit into any gates, they won’t believe anyone to tell. The restaurant is not crowded at any time. And if you come to the end, then there is nothing to eat at all. What, you ask, did we pay for!? To summarize, I would like to appeal to the hotel management - you are very far from foreign service, learn from them. Or don’t rip that kind of money off people, it’s clearly not worth it.
Tatyana – Moscow
We vacationed in July 2015. We only managed to get away for 5 days, but any vacation is a joy. I would like to start with the positive aspects: the hotel area is large, there is room to walk. The rooms are good, clean, new furniture (we stayed in a 2-room suite). The beach is very close, the beach is clean, the water is clear. Close to the Olympic Park, bike rental, excursions - everything you want, which is very convenient. On the negative aspects: I, of course, understand that for a low cost it may not be worth demanding a lot, but this does not mean that you cannot provide the minimum. Room cleaning cannot be called cleaning! The fact that they changed the bag in the trash can does not mean the room was cleaned. The towels were not changed at all! On the first day we encountered the cleaning lady, just in case, I asked when the rooms were cleaned, when the towels were changed, etc. - they said that towels are changed once every 3 days. Not true! Food.... There is nothing but negativity. The website says \\\"buffet\\\". Guys, have you seen what a buffet is? In Soviet times, the food was better. We only took breakfast and dinner - it was a nightmare. There is nothing to eat. The staff doesn't notice anyone. + to everything, there is 1 restaurant on the hotel premises, where prices are higher than in Moscow. Luckily there were establishments on the beach and in other places and we didn’t go hungry. Guys, don't embarrass yourself. It would be a shame if someone later laughed at such a buffet! I kept walking for 5 days and was afraid that my husband would be hungry! Also about the food: I, of course, understand that there are a lot of people, but it’s possible to somehow divide the 2 dining rooms according to the principle for families with children and families without children. I like kids. But within 5 days I almost hated it. They rush around, yell, knock over glasses, run into other guests, jump in line. It’s logical that you wouldn’t hit a small child, especially a stranger! A child personally ran into me when I was walking with boiling water, fortunately I managed to remove my hand and he was not scalded. Apparently there is no point in yelling at his mother; there is nothing to scold him for. At least for safety reasons they made a separation. The reception staff... The guys are friendly, but until you ask, they won’t tell you anything. You need to be more active. In general, there is still room for growth! For that kind of money it’s a sin to demand a lot, but I want a simple, basic service, even for that kind of money. We concluded for ourselves that it would be better to pay more and go to other hotels.
Anna – Rostov-on-Don
We rested at the end of June 2015. We took breakfast and dinner. You come to the dining room at 20.00 and there is no food left. We had breakfast at the Tsarskaya Okhota restaurant - we were fed the cheapest boiled sausage and frankfurters. They did not give fresh vegetables and fruits. They fed me oatmeal for two days, and on the third day they served it from the refrigerator. Sweets for dinner were sliced croissants. The only positive thing that can be said about the hotel is the rooms.
Evgeniy – Rostov-on-Don
We vacationed in October 2014. I thought there was nowhere to relax like that in Russia. I have probably never seen such a crowd of polite people. The food is two meals a day, but believe me, you can’t fit in more. Everything is very fresh and tasty. Those who are tired of the big city should choose such a place to relax. Yes, you can do it on the hotel premises there is nothing special, but there is an Olympic park within a 15-minute walk, the center of Adler is a 15-minute bus ride, and Sochi is 30 minutes away. Excursions for every taste and budget. A good vacation for a very decent amount. There should be more places like this in Russia for relaxation, even in such ways as in Sochi. I will definitely go again.
Julia – Samara
We rested in January 2015 for the New Year holidays. I really liked it! The place is really a little far from the center of Adler (we considered this a plus, since there is nothing to do in Adler itself). It's a 15-minute walk to the Olympic Park, right along the new beautiful embankment along the sea - lots of greenery and cafes/canteens along the road. The city-hotel itself is very large, but the rooms were not empty. We were checked in quickly (we arrived closer to 8 pm) and immediately went to dinner (we took 2 meals a day). For dinner there are several types of meat - cutlets, lula kebab, liver, chicken fillet. Garnish: pasta, country-style potatoes, French fries, stewed vegetables, several types of cereals, always fresh vegetables, salads (Caesar, vegetable, Olivier, crab). For dessert, small biscuits and fruit (bananas, apples, sliced oranges). The juices were all poured from packs (no yuppies). We always came towards the end or middle of dinner; there weren’t many people, but there was always enough food. On the contrary, you need to come early for breakfast, because there are a lot of people. The rooms were standard - quite ordinary, clean, neat, no-frills rooms with large windows and a bathroom, comfortable beds, a thin TV, and a wardrobe. The audibility in the rooms is very strong, you could hear everyone passing along the corridor at night. It's literally 50 meters to the sea and on the beach. There is a bus stop near the hotel - you can go to Adler (train station, airport), Krasnaya Polyana, Sochi... or anywhere. We mostly spent time outside the territory, went on a lot of excursions, walked, so we weren’t bored. There is nothing special to do on the territory, but there is a rental of bicycles and Segways. Tour desk in every building! General opinion: price-quality is excellent!
