This category also includes Finikoudes beach in the city center near the embankment with an alley of date palms, gray-yellow sand and shallow water.
Dhekelia Beach is the largest in Larnaca, representing the road from Larnaca to the British base. The main hotels of the resort are also located here, such as the four-star Palm Beach, Princess, Lordos, Sandy Beach, the five-star Golden Bay, apartments and simpler hotels.
With small children, you can go to Faros Beach (located near Larnaca on the Kiti Peninsula). The sand here is fine and clean, and the beach infrastructure is well developed.

The hotel chain is represented by hotels in the category from 2 to 5*. But mostly these are inexpensive 2-3* hotels and apartments located closer to the bay. Their prices are traditionally low (perhaps the most inexpensive of the resorts in Cyprus), although the service is very unpretentious and unobtrusive.

The beaches here are mostly pebble and rocky. Some of them are artificial with bulk sand. Entrance to the sea is not convenient everywhere (complicated by rocky shores). But for pebble lovers, Paphos probably has the best places.

The best is considered to be the sandy beach of Coral Bay with shallow water, fine sand, and a lot of water activities. It is equally good for those who are just learning to swim and for families with children.
Nearby is Corallia Beach, with soft sand and stunning turquoise water.
Not far from the Paphos City Beach (entry into the water on concrete slabs, the bottom is rocky) there is a small Faros Beach with light sand, with a gently sloping entrance without stones. It is not so noisy here and it is good to relax with children.
In the tourist area of the resort there are two more beaches with yellow sand surrounded by rocks: Virsoudia A and Virsoudia B and the sand and pebble beach of St. George. There are several hotels nearby, and the beach is quite noisy.

On the territory of the reserve with large-headed green turtles in Lara Bay, there is a secluded beautiful sandy beach “Lara” or Turtle Beach. It's just a bare strip of sand without any infrastructure. But the water in the bay is always calm and warm due to its shallow depth.
