Gorki Beach

On the Canal Bay. Moscow. Free entry, no cars allowed, but there is no parking in front of the beach. Very clean water, sandy beach, tall green grass all around, tall trees. From Savelovsky station by train to Khlebnikovo station, then on foot, ask local residents how to get to the road bridge, after the bridge walk about a kilometer.

1. From Leningradsky railway station by rail to Podsolnechnaya station.

How to get there.

The beach is located on the Pirogovsky reservoir, the infrastructure is well developed here, and therefore there are always a lot of capital residents and city guests on the beach in good weather. The beach has special picnic areas with barbecues and tables for relaxation. Gazebos have also been built where vacationers spend time in the company of family and friends. In addition, beach guests are offered a large selection of various entertainment: catamarans, boat rides, several sports grounds where adults and children enjoy playing sports. You can get to the beach by car; there is parking nearby, as well as by public transport. Regular buses and minibuses run from the Medvedkovo metro station (No. 438 and 419). The stop is called the village of Sorokino, then you can walk or take a ride on a boat that departs from the Northern pier. Hiking enthusiasts do not have to worry about getting lost; there are signs along the road to the beach.

This beach is used not only by guests of the recreation center, but also by people who simply love to spend time by the water. This is a sandy beach with islands of grass; you can choose a convenient place depending on your preferences. There are special gazebos for relaxation and tables for those who like to have a picnic in nature. This place is very popular with outdoor enthusiasts who prefer to play sports on the beach. It is more convenient to get to the Khlebnikovo recreation center by public transport. From the Altufyevo metro station there are buses No. 459 and 17, as well as a route taxi that will take you directly to the gates of the recreation center.

City Krasnogorsk beach

This beach is located in the town of Krasnogorsk, in the area of ​​dam No. 4, on the Sinichka River, which is famous for its warm and clean water. The most beautiful Red Sea, the most transparent sea on the planet (not a single river flows into it), well preserved (hunting for inhabitants of coral reefs, the collection and export of corals and shells is prohibited), warm and very salty, attracts everyone here, divers and just lovers (children and adults) of snorkeling among colorful fish. Plus an interesting excursion program - Cairo and Luxor. Architectural monuments are of great interest, because these are the oldest surviving buildings on the planet. The hotels are modern, food in many of them is All Inclusive, prices are reasonable, short flights (4 hours), visa without hassle, right at the airport - all this has made Egypt very popular. Compared to Turkey, there is not much greenery (it is difficult to care for it - there is desert around and fresh water is expensive), some hotels have poor service and do not have the same entertainment programs as on the Turkish Riviera. Although there are hotels in Egypt that have coped with these problems. All coastal hotels have equipped private, free beaches. African coast - Hurghada. From this place began the construction of resorts in Egypt on the Red Sea. Recently - 30 years ago, this place was occupied by an American military base. SPAIN

The beach season starts in June and ends in October. In the northern part (near Barcelona) cloudy days are possible in September. Spain attracts tourists with the opportunity to combine a seaside holiday with interesting excursions and high quality European service. A developed recreation infrastructure offers in the tourist area: water parks, amusement parks and theme parks, many restaurants, bars and discos. History has left many architectural monuments, excursions to museums and galleries are organized, special entertainment and shows are created for tourists, and of course flamenco dancing and bullfighting. At the same time, it is interesting to look at the high European standards of living, and maybe get to know the Europeans better. Plus, a relatively short flight of 4–5 hours, a high level of service and friendliness of the Spaniards, and relatively low prices make this country very attractive. However, Spain has some features, unlike other beach destinations: a mandatory visa (week), all beaches in Spain are municipal, there are no hotels with their own beaches (sun loungers, umbrellas are paid on the spot 2-3 EUR per sun lounger and the same for an umbrella for the whole day). Most hotels offer breakfast and dinner or full board. Not all hotels offer animation programs. Many children's mini clubs operate only in the summer season. Outdoor pools are usually open from 8:00-9:00 to 19:00-20:00. Northern Spain – Costa Brava and Costa Dorada– a popular family resort – there is a grandiose theme park, Port Aventura, with many excursions to suit every taste. Resorts on the Costa Brava are more youthful - a large number of discos and nightclubs attract teenagers from all over Europe. Costa Dorada is quieter, although there is plenty of nightlife entertainment here. There are extremely fashionable 5* hotels. The excursions are of course different, but no less interesting than in the north. The flight is a little further, prices are, on average, a little higher. CANARY ISLANDS

They belong to Spain and of course, all the advantages of a beach holiday in Spain also apply to the Canary Islands. Add to this - the season is all year round, the most diverse vegetation, very picturesque views, cruises on small islands and deserted beaches, entertaining shows for children and adults, all this is the Canaries. Excellent hotel base, from economical apartments to luxury hotels. Many hotels have animation teams throughout the day, organize sports competitions, conduct aerobics classes, various competitions and games for adults and children. All beaches are municipal, umbrellas and sunbeds are paid (about 4 EUR). The sand is coarse, gray, of volcanic origin. The cost of island service is always slightly higher than that of the mainland, depending on the distance from the land, and of course, the cost increases due to the cost of a long flight - a direct charter flight takes 7 hours. GREECE

Greece has everything, we know this from childhood. In the context of our story, there are a lot of places for a beach holiday in Greece. Now direct flights connect Moscow with Thessaloniki (northern part), Athens (southern part), Heraklion (Crete), and the islands of Rhodes and Corfu. But in Greece there are another 3,000 islands. Greece has very picturesque nature, Greece is the closest Mediterranean country to us (like Turkey) - a short flight (2.5-3 hours), Greece attracts us with its myths and Orthodox kinship. Greece has a wonderful climate, the beach season begins in June and ends in October, very nice and cheerful hosts, interesting excursions and decent service. Compared to Turkey and Egypt, Greece has some peculiarities - the cost is slightly higher, hotels in some areas cannot offer modern service, and a visa is required to enter (it takes a week to process). Mainland Greece southern part – Attica. The coast of Attica is interesting from an excursion point of view; from here it is convenient to visit the entire “museum fund” of Greece; unfortunately, most of the hotels are outdated and do not keep up with the leisure industry. This has to do with both the number of rooms and the service that hotels offer. There is no animation, meals are usually breakfast and dinner (this does not apply to several hotels in Peloponnesian peninsula). Beaches in Greece are municipal. Near Athens, the beaches are mostly sandy, of two types. There are free “wild” beaches - unequipped and often dirty (this does not apply to the sea - it is always clean). And there are paid beaches (entrance from 1.5 to 5 EUR), equipped with sun loungers, umbrellas, cafes and shops. A sun lounger and an umbrella are paid additionally - 4 EUR per set. Compensation is, we repeat, a rich excursion program, evening trips to taverns with live (really live) Greek music and interesting meetings. The northern part of Greece is developing more dynamically; there are many modern hotels here, by the way, prices are somewhat lower than in the southern part. Beaches - sand and sand with small pebbles. From the point of view of family holidays, the most interesting place is Crete. There are many hotels here aimed at children's recreation, there are hotels with water parks and children's clubs. Many hotels offer All Inclusive children's meals. The beaches on the Istrian peninsula, with rare exceptions, are concrete platforms, natural stones and small pebble lagoons. In Central Dalmatia, especially south of Split (the cities of Brela, Baska Voda, Tucepi, etc.) and on the island of Brac, they consist of small pebbles and are considered the best on the entire coast. Pines here grow literally 3-4 meters from the surf line, and therefore no umbrellas are needed. These places are especially attractive for families with children. In Southern Dalmatia there are pebble, rocky, and concrete beaches, and on the islands in the Dubrovnik area there are also sandy beaches. All beaches are municipal and admission is free. Rental of sun loungers and umbrellas is 2 Euro (umbrella) and 3 Euro (lounger) per day. Some hotels provide beach equipment for free. The water on all beaches is crystal clear. Hotels are rapidly developing along the entire coast, but still, during the peak season (July-August) there is a shortage of places (this increases prices). 3* hotels predominate; hotels of higher categories are represented to a lesser extent, but their number is growing every year. Externally, the hotels still give the impression of boarding houses of former times, but inside, most have already been completely reconstructed. Service is “at the level”, fast service in restaurants and hotels. A visa regime was introduced in 2013. The flight is short, about 3 hours (flights from Moscow fly to several airports in Croatia), delicious and inexpensive cuisine. Croatia leaves no one indifferent.

PORTUGAL
Beach season is from July to August (water temperature 19-20 degrees, air temperature about 25 degrees). Charter flights from Moscow arrive at Algarve, and regular ones to Lisbon, the flight is about 5 hours. A visa to travel to Portugal is required, the processing time is a week. The beaches on the Portuguese mainland are wide, with white, fine sand, and the water is clear. All beaches are municipal. For a sun lounger and an umbrella, the fee is 8-10 EUR per day. The hotels are excellent, predominantly 4-5* high level. 99% of them offer breakfast, half board is very rare, All Inclusive does not exist. TUNISIA
The beach season is from June to November; in the summer months the air temperature rises to 40 degrees, but due to the low humidity it is easily tolerated. Tunisia is very colorful - the remains of ancient cities, the Sahara, amphitheaters, aqueducts, ancient temples, sculptures, mosaic paintings, fortresses and forts, medieval Arab bazaars and mosques. Good beaches, the general level of hotels is decent, there are some very prestigious ones, the general level of service is good, but slow. Thalassotherapy health courses attract many Europeans due to their quality and cost-effectiveness. All Inclusive meals are rare. The country is more Europeanized than, for example, Egypt; the influence of France is felt, under whose protectorate Tunisia was for a long time. All beaches are municipal. Some hotels are assigned separate sections of the beach, which are diligently guarded, and you practically won’t find the local population here. In most cases, the hotel provides vacationers with sun loungers and umbrellas (in “three-star” hotels - for an additional fee, and in 4-5 “star” hotels, as a rule, free of charge). Charter flights fly to Monastir and the capital Tunis, the flight lasts 4 hours. Entry is visa-free.

UAE
The beach season is all year round, in the winter months, the water temperature drops to 20 degrees (cool at night), in July and August the air temperature rises to 40 degrees. The Emirates attract tourists with the highest level of hotels and service, as well as a duty-free shopping area. In addition, this is the closest beach destination (along with Egypt), allowing you to swim all year round. The state has adopted the tourism industry development program as a priority. In addition to stunning hotels, the largest amusement park in the world, an indoor ski resort in the desert, artificial islands in the sea with hotels and villas, and a spaceport for organizing excursions into space are being built here. The most luxurious hotels are located on Jumeirah Beach, in the emirate of Dubai. All hotels located directly on the coastline have their own equipped private beaches. And the most economical hotels are in the city of Dubai; you need to go to the beach by bus (15 - 30 minutes). On the coast of Dubai there are two famous beach complexes that are used by vacationers of most city hotels: Al Mamzar Park and Jumeirah Beach Park. Excursions to the desert, ancient cities and oases are truly interesting. Many are attracted by sea fishing (for sharks too) and windsurfing; by the way, divers have nothing to do in Morocco. The beach season is all year round, the best time to travel is from October to May, the water temperature is about 30 degrees. From June to September it sometimes rains. The direct flight from Moscow is about 6 and a half hours, a visa is required (processing takes 10 days, there is an urgent option). Hotels are different, the general rule is that in the south of Goa the level of hotels is higher. Even in the most prestigious hotels there may be nuances, firstly, Indians are leisurely, and secondly, they do not kill animals (i.e. cockroaches, etc.). If you are prepared for the fact that Goa is India, the trip will be magical. Goa is the smallest state of India; it was a Portuguese colony for a very long time and became part of India only in 1987. The beaches, with silvery-golden sand in the south and gray volcanic sand in the north, are framed by emerald waters on one side and palm groves on the other. The beaches are municipal; in almost all hotels, security is posted on the adjacent sections of the coast for the safety of tourists and to protect them from street vendors and beggars.
