Chamyuva description of the village. Camyuva, Türkiye: photos, reviews of attractions. Reviews from tourists about the hotel

Camyuva is a tiny resort ten kilometers from Kemer. Camyuva is translated from Turkish as “pine nest,” so it’s quite easy to imagine the local landscapes. This is a secluded place with good five and four star hotels. The main contingent of vacationers are married couples and pensioners. For entertainment lovers, it may be boring, but if you are looking for a calm and secluded holiday by the sea, Camyuva is perfect.

How to get to Camyuva

Getting to Camyuva is very convenient; the nearest international airport is in Antalya. There are many direct flights from Russia; during the high season you can save a lot of money by purchasing a charter ticket. You can get from the airport by taxi, order a transfer from your hotel, or take a bus from Antalya (unfortunately, there are no direct buses from the airport to Camyuva).

Cuisine and restaurants

European cuisine with traditional “English” breakfasts predominates in the hotels. And the choice of restaurants is small: at most you will find 5-7 establishments where you can dine. All of them are aimed at tourists, giant portions and average prices. The main cuisine on the menu is Turkish, European and Mediterranean.

Attractions Camyuva

The ruins of the ancient city of Phaselis can be reached by bicycle (or taxi). The city was founded in the 7th century BC as a colony of the Greek island of Rhodes. This is a real open-air museum, where you can see an amphitheater built according to a standard design, the walls of the city fortress, temple ruins and a necropolis. Before the excursion, stock up on Turkish lira; you can only buy a ticket with them.

Entertainment

There is not much entertainment in the village; they are all limited to the sea, sunbathing and walks, when the lunchtime heat begins to gradually subside. The local surroundings are very beautiful and picturesque, especially in spring, when the vegetation has not yet faded from the strong sun. You can go for walks or ride a bike. For more intense leisure activities, it is better to go to not so distant Antalya or Kemer.

We turn, drive under the highway and after a few hundred meters we enter the picturesque village of Chamyuva. From here we got here in less than an hour, and from there in less than 10 minutes. The village is located 50 kilometers from Antalya and 8 kilometers from Kemer.

If the Turkish name of the area is divided in half and translated into Russian, you get: Çam yuva - Pine Nest. We will have to verify the validity of this name when we examine the surrounding area. Pines are in the village, outside its borders. But today there are many more palm trees in the village itself. In addition to pine trees and palm trees, oleanders and orange trees grow everywhere here.

In the east, Camyuva borders on the resort of Kirish, from which it is separated by the small Agva River and a rocky mountain. To the west are picturesque mountains and the ruins of the ancient city of Phaselis. The map of the village resembles a right triangle, one side of which runs right along the border with the village of Kirish, the second is the beach area, and the third, so to speak, the hypotenuse, is the D400 highway.

Geographical coordinates of Chamyuva: 36°34′ N. w. 30°34′ E. d. (G) (O) (I).

What attracted us to Chamyuva? Yes, probably the same as thousands of our compatriots - the purest Mediterranean Sea, the beach, mountain air, nature. The village is surrounded by the Taurus Mountains. The green mountain belt covers the village from west to east. Therefore, the climate here is special.

Climate in Camyuva

A few words about the nature and climate of this amazing region. Scientifically speaking, Camyuva has a subtropical climate. Summers here are dry and hot, and winters are warm and rainy. The Taurus (or Taurus) Mountains reliably protect this piece of the Mediterranean coast from cold winds blowing from the north, and create a special microclimate here.

Spring in Camyuva begins in April. Fruit trees and various shrubs begin to bloom. In May, orange plantations turn white. The constantly fresh air of the coast is saturated with the aromas of flowers, becoming more transparent and delicate. It’s like it’s calling - come to Chamyuva in the spring (or don’t leave here at all).

In summer, the weather in Camyuva is hot. It is warmest from June to September. The air temperature ranges from +30°C (early summer) to +36°C in August. Sunbathe - I don't want to! Sea water temperature in summer is from +24°C to +27°C. The weather is windless, clear and sunny, the sea and the pebbles on the shore are warming up well. There is almost no rain. Take a bath - I don’t want to!

The velvet season calls for relaxation in the autumn. The weather is warm - the beach season continues in September and October. Amateurs also enter the sea in November. Of course, the air temperature drops to + 20°C.

The resort also has a winter period - consider it Russian autumn. It is coldest from December to February. During these months the temperature is approximately 14-16°C during the day and 5-6 degrees at night. The water temperature does not drop below 17 degrees. It rains, there are storms at sea.

But it’s green in Camyuva all year round; trees bloom, flowers grow, and the grass turns green at any time of the year.

Thus, the beach season in Camyuva lasts from the end of April and ends in October. The number of sunny days in Camyuva is 240 days.

History of Camyuva

For those who are curious, we will tell the history of this area. Until 1944, the village of Camyuva was not on the map of the Kemer region; there was only the village of Ava (Ağva), the name of which came from the stream of the same name. In Italian Ağva means water. In 1961, in accordance with the law, non-Turkish names were changed and the village became known as Çamyuva. Çamyuva gained self-government in 1992, and the first local municipality elections were held in 1994.

Çamyuva consists of three neighborhoods (mahalle). These are the Central District (Bunlar Merkez Mahallesi), Uzunçınar District (Uzunçınar Mahallesi) and Sarıör Mahallesi. The territory of Camyuva is 2,000,000 square meters. meters or 2 square kilometers. The permanent population is 10,000 people, and in the summer season the number of residents increases to 30,000 people.

So, just a few decades ago, on the site of the village there was a village whose residents were engaged in fishing and gardening. Fortunately, groves with oranges, tangerines and lemons grew around the village. But enterprising Turks appreciated the excellent location, mild climate and stunning landscape and began to develop tourism, especially beach tourism.

The necessary resort infrastructure was built: hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, shops and beaches. Housing construction began to develop. A modern settlement has grown, which consists of a resort and residential parts. At the same time, Camyuva remains a compact and convenient settlement for living, where everything is close - housing, the sea, shops, restaurants, recreational areas.

Transport Camyuva

It is impossible to get lost in Camyuva. All streets either lead to the sea or run parallel to it. The longest street is Turizm Bulvarı (Tourist Boulevard). It runs along the sea almost throughout the entire village. This is the main shopping street.

Along Turizm Bulvarı you can enter the village from Tekirova from the Kemer - Kumluca highway. Two more large streets originate from the traffic intersection at the entrance to the village from Kemer. This is Deniz Caddesi (Seaside Street), which takes the shortest route to the sea, turns east, runs parallel to the sea, crosses Turizm Bulvarı and rises up and gets lost in the area of mass development. There is still Atat ürk Caddesi (Ataturk Street) left. It is comparatively short and ends in the same place as Deniz Caddesi - at the largest intersection of Camyuva. From here the boulevard continues along the path called H ürriyet Caddesi (Freedom Street). And Primorskaya Street became Şehitler Caddesi. You can also go onto the highway from it. Just like with T ınaz Caddesi. This is the geography of the village of Chamyuva with all four exits to the intercity highway.

Dolmushi walk along 2 streets: Deniz Caddesi and Turizm Bulvarı. Otherwise, the city is pedestrian. Although there are enough cars. From here you can easily get to Kemer and Antalya by bus or taxi.

Camyuva territory

I would divide the territory of the village into several parts. First, this is the hotel zone. Secondly, these are residential buildings inhabited mainly by Turkish citizens engaged in serving tourists. Third, these are where foreigners and wealthy Turks live.

Let's talk a little more about this. Since Camyuva is a resort village, there are many different hotels in it. The most popular club hotels are located in the center of the village, each of which occupies a large area. In the eastern part of the coast there is a whole complex of neighborhoods occupied by small hotels of various star ratings. In the western part of Camyuva, the Robinson Club Camyuva hotel stands apart.

A few words about residential buildings. Recently, comfortable low-rise houses with a full range of amenities, including swimming pools, have begun to be built in Camyuva. They are relatively small in area, they attract with low prices and a range of amenities. Such real estate is located in modern residential complexes. At the same time, you are provided with an excellent view of the mountains, green area, and water surface of the pool. And it’s very close to the sea, just a couple of hundred meters from the beach. Prefer a short holiday in Camyuva? Then you can rent apartments in this village.

We will be happy to offer you comfortable apartments in the village of Chamyuva.

Property in Camyuva

Now about the most interesting part. In our opinion, villas in particular are the best place to stay in Camyuva. All towns in which the villas are located are landscaped, have swimming pools, and parking lots. They are protected by vigilant security. There is no need to talk about the internal contents of the buildings - the villas have everything. The connection with the Motherland will not be interrupted. It will be provided by satellite television and the Internet. And also the close proximity of Russian-speaking tribesmen. There is no need to worry about the children - they are completely safe in a closed area, even if they are walking alone. Of course, the sea is just a stone's throw (or stone's throw) from the villas. The entire village infrastructure is located nearby.

We will be happy to help you purchase.

Camyuva is worthy of you!

Camyuva today

Today Camyuva is one of the most famous and respectable resorts in Turkey. It is incredibly popular both among the local population and our compatriots.

To be honest, I have never seen a more Russian resort on the Anatolian coast. Russian speech and its speakers are everywhere here - on the beach, in public catering, in parks, on the streets and, of course, in shops. And it must be said that the Turks indulge this in every possible way. See how they attract Russian-speaking tourists and residents of Camyuva to their establishments.

(photo 1660, 1663, 1697, 1703)

Moreover, many Turks in Camyuva speak Russian. Sellers in stores and waiters in restaurants, especially coastal ones, understand Russian perfectly.

Let's talk about the sea in Camyuva. The sea in Camyuva, as I already said, is clean and transparent. Depending on the time of day and lighting, it shimmers with different colors - from light blue near the beach to dark blue at depth. But most often the water in the bay is turquoise in color, it is transparent until the last pebble at the bottom. The bottom is clearly visible not only near the shore, but also at a sufficient distance from it. If you are wearing a mask, you can get acquainted with the inhabitants of the underwater world. However, the fish are visible to the naked eye.

The resort beach is large enough to satisfy the needs of everyone - hotel guests, hosts of the country, and Russians living in Antalya. Its length is about 3 kilometers. From here, from the beach, you can enjoy unusually beautiful views of the mountains surrounding Camyuva. A wide coastal strip of small pebbles stretches for several kilometers. The entry into the sea is excellent, it is good for both adults and children.

If you prefer active recreation, you can ride jet skis, fly on a parachute, play with your children on water attractions, ride on a boat, yacht or sailboat. On the beach you can rent a boat, speedboat or catamaran. Particularly advanced citizens can go diving in pretty coves. Dives for diving enthusiasts are organized in specially designated areas.

Camyuva infrastructure

But life does not end for Camyuva after visiting the beach. What do vacationers and village residents do? Of course, this is a shopping trip. It is better to do this in the evening, after the heat has subsided.

As elsewhere in Turkey, small markets with a selection of essential products are located in residential areas. The village also has supermarkets and stores from large system suppliers, Migros, for example. Here you can buy food for the whole family and for any period of time. The Migros and Ramstore stores are located on Ataturk Street, not far from the entrance to the village from the Kemer - Kumluca highway.

Closer to the intersection there is a market open on Wednesdays. At the market you can buy fruits, vegetables, clothes and, of course, leather goods. There is an indoor bazaar in the seaside part of the village on Turizm Bulvarı. Ceramics and fresh Turkish sweets are sold everywhere.

Don't forget the fruit. They can be bought at any time of the year, and in a wide variety. They are sold everywhere - in Migros, in markets, and, of course, in markets.

There is a post office in the village where there is a currency exchange. There is an exchange office near the post office. They can also accept currency from you in the store, but at a reduced rate. Therefore, we recommend exchanging your currency for Turkish lira at an exchange office. There are also ATMs, including an ATM of Denizbank, a subsidiary of Sberbank of Russia. If you bargain with this ATM and offer him a decent Sberbank card, he won’t even take a commission. Liras are needed to purchase goods in chain stores and markets. Shops near the beach and near hotels sell goods for foreign currency. I have already mentioned the course.

Things to do in Camyuva

When we talk about Chamyuva, we make no secret - this is a resort for wealthy couples with children. And although there is no particular place to “hang out” here, we can suggest several places where you can have a good rest.

For young people, this is a trip to the nightclubs of Kemer. There are three nightlife establishments in Kemer: Crystal, Inferno and Aura. A variety of music plays here until four o'clock in the morning. The clubs regularly host foam parties and theme nights, in which performers from Russia or Turkey take part. Lovers of Russian music can visit the Crystal Club, and fans of Turkish and European music can visit the Inferno Club. In these clubs you can not only dance, but also enjoy cocktails and dine in restaurants.

For dance lovers, Camyuva has a night disco. Not far from the beach there is a discotheque Mango, where young people can dance to good music.

If you are tired of home-cooked food and want to listen to music in the village itself, including live music, then you can have lunch or dinner in the village’s restaurants.

The streets of Camyuva amaze with their cleanliness, variety of architecture, design and invention - be it five-star hotels, ordinary shops or municipal institutions. There are eye-catching sculptures along the streets.

Holidays in Camyuva You can diversify with a variety of historical, educational and entertaining excursions. We will only talk about tours to places located near Camyuva.

Entertainment includes horseback riding in the mountains. Living in Camyuva, you can afford a Jeep safari to the mountains, a fishing trip to a mountain river, visiting Ulupinar restaurants, hiking in the mountains to a waterfall in Goynuk and a lot of other excursions and entertainment. It's up to you. These and many other excursions can be booked on Turizm Bulvarı or from tour operators. Of course, street prices are much cheaper.

If you don't like organized excursions, you can entertain yourself and your family on your own. For example, rent a variety of equipment on the same boulevard - mountain bikes, ATVs, cars. Ride as much as you want!

Attractions in the Camyuva area include the ancient city. As you know, in ancient times these places attracted settlers from the island of Rhodes. They founded the city of Phaselis here, whose inhabitants were engaged in supplying timber along the entire Mediterranean coast. I’ll tell you how you can get there from Camyuva, since the ancient city is located very close to the resort.

You can get to Phaselis as follows:

By bus Kemer - Camyuva - Phaselis - Tekirova. (10-15 minutes). The section from the ticket office to Phaselis must be walked.

By taxi (More convenient, they will take you to the place).

By sea (the boat will take you to the Northern Harbor of Phaselis).

On foot from Camyuva (it takes an hour and a half to two hours to get to Phaselis).

Famous Paradise Bay(firefly bay), located to the right of the village (if you are facing the sea) behind the cape, is one of the attractions of the village itself. The water in Paradise Bay glows at night. Magic! This magic can be explained simply - unique microorganisms live in the bay. When you enter the water, these creatures secrete a specific substance, which gives the water such a wonderful soft light. This effect is present only in this place, which is why the bay got its name. Night swimming in Paradise Bay makes a unique impression. The bay also amazes with its beautiful rocky hummocks along the coast and its rich pine aroma. During the day, excursions are organized to this bay, where pleasure yachts stop and tourists swim.

Among the attractions of Camyuva we can safely include the famous mountain located nearby Tahtali. Full name Takhtalidag (Tahtalı Dağları). This is the largest and most beautiful peak in the Western Taurus mountain system in the area. It is located on the territory of the Olympos National Park and was previously called Olympos. The height of Takhtali above sea level is 2365 m. From November to June, the mountain is covered with snow and ice, the volumes of which are especially large from January to April. The snow cap looks beautiful from the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea. Mount Takhtali is overgrown with coniferous trees, which disappear 500 meters before the top.

The Olympos Teleferik cable car has been stretched to the top of Tahtali, which has been transporting tourists since 2007. An excursion to the mountain peak of Tahtali will allow you, as if in a time machine, to move from the heat of subtropical summer to the kingdom of cold, ice and snow. The motto of the excursion to Takhtali is: “Sea to Sky,” that is, “from sea to sky.” The observation deck offers stunning views of Camyuva, Kemer and even Antalya. The Taurus Mountains, the Mediterranean Sea, and the blue sky above are clearly visible. (photo 1 Takhtala, sent by Kostya)
